2006 version Foody and Incensey have a baby and her name is Haloa. I can smell the cake, the grape leaves, the frankincense, all of it blending together so well.

Black Lily is a sister to Juliet. Where Juliet is a sunny summer's day, Black Lily is a dark gloomy wintery day. Ok, so lilies don't bloom in winter, but you get my point. Where Juliet is a hammer, Black Lily is a velvet-gloved fist!

In the imp: minty and cool Wet: Whoa, mint! Dry: still just sniffing mint. It has cleared my sinuses most effectively. This would be great if I had a cold or allergies. It's cleared my sinuses so well I can smell through my eyeballs.

Vampire Tears: In the bottle: citrus floral, vaguely sweet Wet: grapefruit and tonka Drydown: (after 5 minutes) the florals start to come out. I can barely smell the jasmine in the blend. So far no red welts of doom from the ginger - I applied sparingly and waited an hour after showering. A few minutes later, I can smell the green tea a bit mixed with the florals. Five minutes later, the grapefruit is popping out a bit again, but I can still smell the florals and the tea. Very feminine and soft. An unusual floral. I think the green tea and ginger cut the floral quality and make it more wearable. I am surprised that I really like this one. I think it is bottle-worthy.

This could not be more delicious if it tried. Cherry/Strawberry and vanilla whipped cream when wet. Dries down to a lovely vanilla/berry scent. It isn't the longest wearing BPAL blend I've tried, but it is so delightful, I am more than willing to slather repeatedly! ETA: I have finally found the food equivalent of Beaver Moon 07: a white cake cupcake topped with raspberry whipped cream frosting. They sell these in the deli in my office building. I exclaimed at the first bite "This tastes like Beaver Moon smells!" Beaver Moon is in my top 10.

This is a very sweet incensey blend. In the imp: cocoa! Wet: chocolate cherry incense. Dry: sandalwoody goodness. Reminds me of Lush's discontinued bath ballistic Rainbow Worrier. I can see how some get pipe tobacco from this, but I'm trying not to smell that. LOL I like this best applied sparingly and after it dries down well.

Ultraviolet's review made me track down a bottle of this and I'm so glad I did. I like this much more than Creepy. In the bottle: apples! Dehydrated apple slices, still soft, but the sugars and appley goodness are concentrated. Wet: Same dehydrated apple slices dipped in caramel and sugar. Dry: Mmm, candy apples! I don't really get any cinnamon from this, just apples and candy/sugary sweetness with a very faint hint of caramel,

This foody, berry, sweet blend makes me want to eat my own arm. Yum!

Mmm, green mango! Sadly this one seems to fade very quickly for me. But I love it enough to reapply as often as necessary!

Wet, vanilla & Sweet Pea. As it dries the sandalwood and amber come out but the soft floral of the sweet pea remains in the background. This is so soft, warm, and delightful. All the notes meld together nicely.

In the Bottle: boozy sugary fruits Wet: brown sugar-coated apricots and plums dry: sugared plums with a hint of spice I am so hungry now.

Pumpkin V starts out really gingery. Then settles down into a nice spicy/vanilla/pumpkin wintery warm blend. Just the thing for a cold fall day! ADDED Oct. 20: Uh oh. Small problem with Pumpkin V. I am apparently sensitive to ginger oil. I got big red welts within minutes of applying this on my decollete and inside my elbows. No reaction on my wrists - guess that skin is tougher. This is such a lovely blend that I'm thinking a scent locket purchase is in order so I can continue to enjoy it.

I'm wearing Pumpkin III today. I get the caramel/cream/white choc with just a hint of pumpkin. Not getting any pom yet which is sad because I adore the Lab's pomegranate. But overall I LOVE this blend!

In the bottle - straight-up butterscotch On the skin - butterscotch at first, then caramel and sweet apple come out to play. Sadly, that was the point at which I started sneezing and my husband said "eew, what is that smell?" I had to wash it off and swap this poor little thing away.

This one turned sickly sweet on my skin, which really bummed me out because I wanted to love it.

I am a newbie, so please forgive the simplicity of my review. Juliet was one of my first BPAL sniffs and I fell in love immediately. Floral but with complexity. No water or powder notes to my nose. Just pure, unadulterated joy of a sunny summer's day. It even feels warm like the sun on my skin! I was impelled to purchase a 5 ml of Juliet. I just wish it came in an even bigger bottle so I would never run out.
