Not all of 'em. Grr, Ugh, and Oof, at the very least, are white labels that have the scent's name in big colored letters. Oh yeah - forgot those! Oopsie.

I remember this trying to be really pretty on me. In the foreground I detected the effervescent fruity part of it I was so looking forward to.. but then something in the background leaped up and bit me. Quite possibly the rose, since it ruins virtually every blend on me. Maybe the musk, since I've never tried that brand of musk before. I almost liked it.. but there was that one note that made it smell slightly bitter on me.

The Panaceas all come with a triple dagger in heart label, like the BPTP locket. Ars Draconis has purple labels with pink writing, but I can't remember for the life of me what kind of design was on them, if any. The Muses that were recently discontinued had really pretty pictures - I especially loved Erato's label, but sadly not her scent. I remember Night-Gaunt, Shoggoth, and Miskatonic University having parchment-colored labels and their names really large in a cool looking font. And... that's all I can remember at the moment. =)

This one goes through many stages. In the bottle, it's incredibly sharp and herbally. The sage, mint, and grass are all probably responsible for this. First on the skin, it's still sharp and herbally with mainly the sage, mint and grass notes dominating, but just underneath it I smell the papaya and something like melons (?) trying to come forth. I smell something odd, and perhaps that's the green musk, because I can't detect exactly what it is. After it's dried, however, it smells a lot less sharp and is now quite light but still has decent throw. I smell the fruity part of it - the papaya, cucumber, and lime, though there is something about it that makes me think of melons. The herbally, sharp bit that I don't like eventually fades after about a half hour, and all I get is lovely papayas and cucumbers with a smidgen of lime. After a while I'm reminded of Lush's Green Day bubble bar, which I miss dearly. Oddly enough, this smells really nice in cold weather. I kept it in my cold car and after I put it on, it went straight to the stage I like, rather than starting in its sharp and herbally stage.

I only just started going to the Will Calls, but I know there's been one every month since I started using BPAL from what I remember. Usually they're on or quite close to the full moon. The last one was on a Tuesday, but I remember the one before that being on a weekend. ETA: OH, and East Coast Will Call hours are usually 6 to 10.

In one of Green Phoenix's many stages, it reminds me of my dearly loved and departed Green Day bubble bar.

I work at VS and the only similarities I've drawn are Vanilla Lace with Antique Lace and Body By Victoria with 51. I can't think of anything else smelling at all similar to any BPAL oils, and I've smelled all of VS's perfumes a hundred times over since I often get stuck in the beauty room filling in the products. Getting sick of VS's perfumes is one reason why I was eager to try BPAL and now wear it to work when I'm supposed to be wearing their stuff, hehe. Of course, I haven't tried a whole lot of BPAL yet, but so far I can't think of anything at all similar to Love Spell or Heavenly.

I was hoping the sandalwood would make an appearance, but all I got was patchouli and cinnamon. I don't like patchouli, I like cinnamon on occasion, and I love sandalwood. If you like cinnamon and patchouli, you'll like this one, but it's something I'm going to pass on.

Tamamo-no-Mae’s scent is soft skin musk, brushed by white tea leaf, rice flower, black locust flower, white sandalwood kodo smoke, dry ginger, benzoin gum, and Amacha. Oooh, so pretty. Light and ethereal, like someone else mentioned. Florals, but not IN YOUR FACE! florals. It somehow manages to be creamy, juicy, and pleasantly floral all at once. Glad I have an imp, I might have to hunt for a bottle.

In the bottle it's very salty aquatic plus pear. The saltiness gets caught in my throat, so to speak, but the pear underneath it makes it pretty. Wet, it's very aquatic, teetering on a scent you would use to freshen your bathroom, but the amber, pear, and freesia are trying their damnedest to get the salty ocean bit of it to calm down and relax. When it's wet I'm not terribly fond of it. The ocean mist smells too much like your standard beachy air freshener. BUT, when it's dry, that high-pitched, salty, aquatic note calms itself and lets the pear have a bit of the limelight. I really like this in its dry-down stage, especially as a scent for a hot summer day.

Very foody. Reminds me of how the foodie section of Yankee Candle smells. Smells just like one of their cookie candles. Sweet, sugary cookies with icing and perhaps some cinnamon sugar.

Very sweet, fruity, and tart. I picture just about every flourescent color there is when I smell this as it's first applied. The grapefruit and currant completely take over in the wet stages. I can definitely see why this is the Cheshire Cat's scent.. On the drydown, however, it is completely different! The lavender, chamomile, and delphinium are the only notes I smell. No sign of the grapefruit or currants at all. Oddly, it reminds me of how Cottonmouth smells on its drydown. I like this very much in its wet stages, though since it's a little tart I might have to mix it with something sweeter. It threatens to smell too tart and sharp to the point where "it smells like you forgot to wash soap off of yourself," as my mom said. But the stage where it's been on for about an hour smells like creamy oranges, and I like that stage. Now to find a way to preserve the creaminess...

Very sweet, soft, and gentle, like others have said. I have to slather it on to smell it more than faintly. It's a pretty floral with all the notes very well-blended. Luckily, the rose doesn't amp itself during any of its stages.. which is amazing, because I almost always amp rose if it's in a blend. I can't really pick out one note more than another, except perhaps for the musk, but just barely. I'm not sure if this is big bottle-worthy, as it's so light, but it is very pretty.

I smelled this in Shelldoo's shop and absolutely loved it on my skin, so I bought a bottle. Yet when I put on oil from my own bottle, it smelled different. From the tester bottle it smelled very sweet pea, which is one of my favorite notes. My bottle smells like a mixture of lavender and chamomile, a bit of sunscreen, and a little of the bold, pale musk. Very different. So I think I will age this to see if aging it is what makes the sweet pea come forth. It's a very relaxing scent, but part of it reminds me of sunscreen. So if it doesn't age properly, I will either keep it to mix it with other oils that need softening or give it away to somebody who appreciates it better than I.

Bottle: Light, soft, and smooth. I can catch the white amber, white poppy, and white sandalwood. Basically all the white notes. 'Tis a very shining, white scent. Someone also said it's kind of sad.. I agree. Not in a bad way, because it's very pretty. The image of Yvaine walking into the village of Wall after she thought Tristan was leaving her comes to mind. Wet: Yes, this is reminding me quite a lot of Yvaine. Not the BPAL scent, but the character. I haven't tried the BPAL Yvaine yet.. but this scent is reminding me of her. There's a dustiness that reminds me of Stardust, not a bad dustiness at all. There's also a peacefulness coming out now. There's the tranquility. I really like this. Dry: It's becoming ever-so-slightly soapy, but there's still so much underneath this that's very pretty. It's very quiet and glowing. A Little Bit Later: Soft and glowing. I really do think of celestial things when I smell this. Very pretty. Got a bottle.

The Fruit of Paradise, the Nectar of Death: bittersweet pomegranate. In the bottle: Sweet and tart pomegranates. Wet: Still tart, but also spicy. It's pomegranates, but I feel like there's some other fruit in it. Like red currant or something.. but I'm completely rubbish at guessing things like this, lol. Dry: Bright, juicy pomegranates... and that something else, haha. But it's yummy. A Little Bit Later: Went softer, a lot less tart. I would not call the softness powdery. Bordello turned into powerdy fruity currant bubblegum, whereas this has not. I was hoping Persephone would smell like how this smells, but Persephone turned into rotten pomegranates and dying roses on me. This is much brighter and fresh. I'm glad I found a pomegranate smell that I love, because it's one of my all time favorite notes, and I was really sad when Persephone didn't work on me. I now own a bottle of this.

In the bottle: Sparkling peach and oakmoss. Wet: Same as in the bottle. Peach comes clearly forth. I don't get much white musk - all of the elements I detect smell like the fruits section of a market. This is sort of how I thought Fairy Market would smell, actually. Dry: Still retains the same smell. It hasn't morphed much so far. It really makes me crave peaches.. I can taste peaches when I smell this. The oakmoss is making it a very teensy bit spicy and not 100% peach. But I like the two together. It's very youthful. It does remind me of faeries. Playful and bright. A Little Bit Later: This isn't a generic fruity scent. It's quite like smelling all of the actual notes in their natural form on top of each other, like in a bowl. I liked it a lot, so I bought a bottle.

I had my aunt smell it and she said it smelled something like her Cache perfume she once had. Dunno how accurate this is. By that time it had already been on my skin for a few hours and was almost fading.

My brother's girlfriend bought a bottle of this (I have effectively enabled somebody, woo!) so I grabbed her bottle to try it, and now I shall review it. From in the bottle to first applied to drydown, it's a very smokey, warm, comforting vanilla. Very reminiscent of Vanilla Lace from Victoria's Secret, but deeper and more sophisticated. Very soft and pretty. I don't know if I would buy a bottle myself, but I do like this one.

In the bottle, this smells kind of funky. I was apprehensive to try it on my skin for fearing it would be a lost cause. But I saw that every note in it is a note I like, looked at all the great reviews, and decided I needed at least one Traveling Exhibition Salon scent, so I gave it a go. On my skin, it's just so... warm and soft. It reminds me of burying my face into my cat's fur. It's hard to explain why.. it just evokes the feeling of something soft and furry. I don't get the note fur, but the feeling of fur. I really can't effectively pull out any notes, except perhaps the vanilla. It's very well-blended and comforting. It was an instant bottle purchase for me.

I actually think that florals and Snake Oil go well together. Regular Snake Oil tends to turn rank on my skin.. there's just something in it that doesn't agree with me. Most floral perfumes are way too strong and astringent and make me cough. But together, the florals in Cottonmouth sort of keep that rank note in Snake Oil at bay on me, while the Snake Oil keeps the florals from making me want to cough and my nose curling up. Every aspect of this oil blended well together on my skin, and the outcome is very pretty. It's a subdued, comforting, warm floral. Another that I fell in love with and bought at Shelldoo's salon.

In the bottle, this is very pretty. Aquatic and mossy with an underlay of Snake Oil. Applied wet, the aquatic, mossy part is taking over, but there are beautiful spices underneath that make this really complex. It strikes me as masculine, but it's still so nice that I wouldn't let that stop me from wearing it. When on for over a half an hour and completely dry, the Snake Oil softens and becomes less spicy. I can smell the oakmoss, sea moss and olive leaf over the Snake Oil, but just as you're done sniffing and have stopped inhaling, the Snake Oil becomes present. It's very beautiful.. I bought a bottle during a visit to Shelldoo's salon. =) I had a huuuge list but could only pick three, and this is one of the bottles that I decided I needed in the end.

In the imp: Veeeery lavender. Very strong lavender. It reminds me of the Schnuggle bar from Lush, only muuch stronger. First applied: Yep, strong lavender. It smells sort of like a cleaning solution or a very strong generic brand aerosol air freshener. Drydown: Definitely Schnuggle with a hard kick. Definitely heavy on the lavender. This wouldn't help me sleep.. it would keep me awake. =\ I have to give TKO and Quietude a try now. Verdict: Hmm.. no sense in keeping. A very, very HUGE thanks to evilmistressoftoast for the imp, though. Without her I might have gotten a big bottle, 'cause I couldn't find a decant, and I wouldn't have been able to keep the bottle. =)

In the imp: Just what the description says it is! Sugar plums with light florals, and only slightly tart. First applied: Very pretty. Still the same as in the imp. Hasn't morphed much. Reminds me very slightly of Bewitched. It has that general feel, but Midwinter's Eve is slightly more complex. Drydown: Still sweet and sugary with a tiny bit of a tart undertone. I like it! Verdict: Keeping decant, I do believe. Not sure about the bottle - will have to go to Shelldoo's salon and test stuff on my wishlist before I decide.
