Wet: It smells very sweet to me. You can definitely smell the chocolate. I always thought immediately about cherry cordials. On the Drydown: All the spiciness of the patchouli comes up at once and the sweetness disappears. I call this one a concept perfume because it matches its name well. very shoujo manga-esque. the sweetness and warmth only lasts for a second, and then they disappear. Dry: the faintest bit of sweetness remains, sleeping with the spiciness that's left. no hint of chocolate or cherry. Overall: I think I'll wear it in Japan when I want to feel like a manga shojo princess. haha.

The scent of warm, glowing jack o'lanterns on a warm autumn night: true Halloween pumpkin, spiced with nutmeg, glowing peach and murky clove. at first, I did not like jack, but now it's the first cool day here so I feel like I can review it. when I first put jack on wet, it's like slathering melted butter on me which is a turn off. but further sniffling reveals something sweet, and I'm immediately reminded of those popcorn balls at halloween. the butter note fades quickly, thank goodness, and there is only a hint of it in the background. next it turns into hot cinnamon candy. spicy. it must be the clove. yes, it's pure clove now. and then the peach is amped. this is definitely going in layers, but this peach is like... peach jam or a peach danish. finally it all swirls together for a mix of sweetness and spice. I find myself longing for more pumpkin and cream in this, but it's still satisfying.

I ordered this because it's a rare occasion. it is very very VERY light. when I put it on, I really couldn't smell it at all. I had to douse my arms in it. it's an extremely light floral, and I'm a little sad I couldn't pick up more of the more interesting notes. I don't smell cucumber or anything much at all. all I get is a bunch of flowers far away from me. it's nice, but I'm not getting the complexity. maybe I just have to keep applying more.

it is a very feminine amber! got this as a frimp and I'm in love. edit: now in october, I wear this one more than anything else. it's my absolute favorite. it's amber and pomegranate, straigtht up. I love it.

eat me is fantastic. I second it. -
I also put this on when mad, but it isn't making me feel more angry... perhaps more powerful and in control is the right feeling. definitely not a loss of control like "rage" might envision. in the bottle, it turned me off. one of the notes just didn't seem to do right by me. I decided to hold onto it for the name when I'm in a bad mood. on the skin: at first it's dark and unusual. I can't place it. a soapy asian floral. it dries into a sweet babypowder. not bad, but not in my top picks.

Bottled happiness. Helps reverse misfortune, brings light and laughter to even the most troubled and discordant place, and aids in alleviating the stress and discontent that accompanies so many of life's daily trials. it is sweet, but it isn't sickening or anything. I just like it! as for it's effects, really positive. I was wearing it at the beginning of a car trip, and at the end of it (7 hours) my dad and I were laughing so hard and in such a good mood. it might've been a little cabin fever, but usually we're both pretty grumpy after so long in the car. I like the scent, it's pleasant. definitely a good picker-upper.

I barely got any milk out of this at all. It was all fig and pomegranate. in fact, I kept thinking to myself, what does this smell like? fig? pomegranate? it has to be ONE of those. having not remembered the description at all. turned out to be both. so, those notes are definitely prominent. it is sweet and tart like pineapple. the creaminess smells like lotion to me. lotion and a slight hint of skim milk. it is a strange, sweet smell. I think I might keep this for strange, sweet nights.

when it was first applied to my skin, it was all clove with a hint of sweetness underneath. on the drydown, the clove calms down and there's only a quiet subdued whisper of clove, with creamy sweet rum taking the forefront. delicious!

I get peony and white tea from this. a little disappointing, I wanted more tea and less floral. that's my own fault, though. it smells really light and is a good everyday scent.

it's sweet like brown sugar, incensey, and I got a whiff of post-sex bedroom in there. very sexy. edit: I got a big compliment on this from my best friend who said I smelled really good after a big close hug. later that night, mischievious and dirty things went on with a guy, and he didn't mention it, but he kept at the places where I applied it. haha. and my roommate asked to borrow it today. she is my guinea pig with new scents.

out of the bottle: I get a gentle whiff of pear surrounded by a bed of roses and a gentle white musk within it. wet: the rose and the white musk take the forefront, much like the gentle image of two married lovers sleeping in a big bed of white sheets. drydown: this smell strikes close to my heart. her, the rose, and him, the white musk mingle together softly and quietly in a sleepy sunday haze. the sun is peering through, but there they are still asleep without any sign of waking. the scent is delicate and romantic. it tugs on my heart strings! dry: it dries to a light lily with a hint of white musk. it gives me the feeling of being in a warm blanket and fills me with some nostalgic inner longing for a lover. very nice!

this smells nothing like new orleans. anyway, it came out as all jasmine on me. I was a little disappointed. new orleans flowers smells sweet and light, not heady and overpowering like this was. if anything, new orleans is honeysuckle, sweet olive, wet dirt, leaves, black tea, blackberries, and butter rum. I want something like that!

you guys are picking up things I have never smelled from it. I got it as an extra. queen was incensey to me. I did get a whiff of this strange alluring property when I pulled the top out of the bottle to apply it to me. I did not like the smell though. it isin't really my kind of smell. too strong. I haven't tested the properties of it though, and I'm not sure if I will. maybe when I practice my tarot I will wear it. this might be a special occasion scent for me.

in the bottle, I didn't like the smell at all. it smells like ophelia. generic perfume. blah! but as soon as I take the top out to apply it to my skin, I get a whiff of something delicate and enticing. wow! yum! on my skin, it becomes a strong floral again, but holding my hand away I smell something sweet. it is kind of like laundry detergent, but I like that smell. haha. I have to disagree with the first post, this is much more grown up than ophelia. ophelia is overpowering in smell, but it's so rosey it seems like a child's scent. desdemona is much more complex and enticing to me. on the fence on this one as far as big bottles go. definitely keeping the imp.
