Sweet spice cakes! Yummy, but not me.
-
This is a clean, refreshing scent with a creamy coconut background. Pretty, and I feel like I want to like this scent more, but just not for me.
-
I'm with HKB on this one, the initial smell is very woody, in a nice way, but it starts smelling kind of "old lady"-ish to me.
-
This is absolutely gorgeous fruity goodness on me, but after a couple hours it starts to smell a little powder sugar-y, like those sweetheart candies on Valentines. ;_____; I'll try again, but I wish it wouldn't morph so! EDIT: retest years later--still the same. starts off super clean fresh citrus-tea scent, dries down to (lovely) laundry soap.

A pretty, but fairly unremarkable white floral on me. Nice, but not anything super.

This is definitely a men's scent. It starts of strong and sharply leather and--I don't know what it is, patchoulie or bergamont or tonka, but its slightly herbally and smoky, it reminds me of the herbal cigarettes people smoke around here. At this stage, its way too sharp and strong for me, but after drydown the smokiness and leather fade away and it becomes a much creamier, gentle spicey scent, with the smoky leather lingering lightly in the background. I like the drydown, but the initial omg!man is a bit too much for me.

A clean, sharp floral. The apple blossom undernote softens the scent, and its very pretty, but just not something I really see myself reaching for when there are so many other gorgeous scents out there.

Pomegranate wine, lotus root, river reeds, hyssop, and barley. This is dark pomegranate straight-out on me and smells soooo good upon application. After a while, it gets too be too much of a good thing though, and I start feeling a little woozy from the ripeness of the smell, much like Yemaya. A gorgeous scent, but too much for me.

I amp tobacco like no other, but its surprisingly light in this scent for me, there's definitely a smoky background, but the overall scent is still very pretty and clear. I get mostly sandalwood and amber. The smoky tobacco and sandalwood smell amazing together and this is definitely not an unpleasant scent, but alas its just not me.

Mmm this is a really soft gentle floral/musk blend. Very pretty and warm! I loooooove this, it makes me feel sexy and sophisticated. EDIT: I swapped for a bottle of this based on my experience with a decant, but somehow I am just not feeling it quite as much as I was. In my memory, this is very creamy and a skin musk. From my experience with the bottle, on drydown this has a white floral base (the locust?), almost lemony (the ginger), tinged by a rice scent and a barely discernable musk background. The sharpness of the floral and ginger do fade, and it becomes creamier over time. After a few minutes, it is mostly creamy musk with a floral note that just seems slightly off. Just not quite what I remembered, pretty but unremarkable This bottle is already pretty aged at this point, so I'm not sure if it will get any creamier, but I might hang onto it to see, because the memory I have of Tamamo no Mae in my head is just that good.-9500111056515042537983

A sweet, pretty white floral scent, reminiscent of Reaper, but less straight out floral and more lemon-y. Pretty and refreshing, I'm really starting to love it!

Mmmm this is realllllllly pretty! I've been moving out of florals lately, but this is just too pretty. Sweet, a little strong, with the same rose note as Peacock Queen and London, but notably less strong. It's something I imagine a young princess wearing--soft and pretty, but so regal and almost arrogant. I don't know about a bottle, but this is gorgeous!

Sweet, warm straight-out violet (maybe a hint of chrysanthemum that's adding to the warmth), pretty but just not for me.

A potent, enticing love formula, favored among Louisiana courtesans. This is a light scent on me. A little spicy/herbally with a rose background. Interesting and not unlikable, but not really my style.
-
I used this not realizing that it had intent behind it. But, as soon as I put it on, I started updating my over-a-month-behind journal! So, definitely fast acting and strong. This smells...interesting. Like fresh laundry (yum!), but also a little bathroom/floarl soap-y like mentioned above. Not necessarily bad, but not something I'm too eager to smell like. It's an interesting scent and not one that I mind wearing if I'm using this for intent.

This smells exactly like cutting open a ripe honeydew. Ripe, sweet fruity-ness to the max! I love it, it makes me want to lick my wrist, but I don't know how practical it is for everyday wear.
-
The jasmine and vanilla combine in this in a sort of sweet, powdery candy smell, with a strong rose undertone. Pretty, but a strange scent for me to wear, probably going to pass this on.
-
Wet, this was a rich, buttery warm scent similar to Blockbuster. Drying, the roses came out more, tempering the buttery notes. This scent smells so warm and pleasant and good, like walking into a gingerbread house and discovering that it's yours to eat. I keep sniffing my wrists and moaning, it's just that good.

I love this scent, and perfectly agree with Schmoozy above. A perfect lazy-day scent. I could just roll around in bed forever in this and be perfectly content. EDIT: revisiting this scent after a few years in a new imp. It smells exactly like fresh laundry soap. Slightly lemon-y, very clean, with almost the sudsy-quality of soap, which is a little off putting to me after all. Very clean and fresh but ultimately a bit too much so for me.
-
At first, this smelled exactly like Bath and Body Work's sweet pea scent. Late, the other notes came out to create a more intricate, beautiful scent. Strangely, one of the notes is beginning to smell like rice on me...I like this, but I'm going to do another test. This is also slightly soapy. EDIT: After a second test, this still smells like B&BW Sweet Pea, very soft and pretty, but far too faint. Swaps it is!

Wet, this is omg!lemon in the same vein as Embalming Fluid, but much stronger. As it dries, the lemon tones down, and the orange blossom comes out, giving the scent a light, pretty floral background, though the predominant note is still primarily lemon. Pretty, but waaaaay too lemon-y for me.
-
Whoever said tile cleaner was exactly right, this scent is giving me headaches from its fumes. Smells like scrubby floors and hazardous chemical cleanser.
-
I can smell the lilies and the spice of the carnations. No powder, just fresh, strong floral. A very pretty white floral, but nothing particularly outstanding.
-
This is a warm scent, I definitely feel it matching the description, I can picture it on a flirty 20s flapper. The sandalwood comes out on this, as does the mandarin in a slightly orange scent. Pretty, but underwhelming. My skin seems to be eating this up though, so I may have to try a second swatch test.

This is definitely a more aquatic scent. It starts off almost tropical like, with a citrus note, very pretty. As it dries, it loses the citrus and starts smelling sweet and amber-like in combination with the aquatic notes. Surprisingly pretty, but not for me.
