Thick and dark and predominantly smoke and copal. Not for me.
-
Just...weird. Kind of chemically sweet play doh?
-
This is very strong on the patchouli but well-blended, it's a dark green herbal dirt scent. Definitely not for me, but one of the Lab's better patchouli blends.
-
This ended up being spicier than I expected. This is exactly Scheherazade's younger sister, cream and musk and warm spices, but a little softer, rounder and more innocent.
-
This smells like honey on me. Not like the Lab's honey note, which goes powdery and off, but straight-up sweet, sticky wildflower honey, slightly spiced from the carnation.
-
This is pretty. Wet, I get tart, fresh citrus from the yuzu and grapefruit, with a hint of light white floral in the background. As it dries, the citrus fade and the floral becomes more prominent. Overall, I'm left with a light, citrus-floral that somehow reminds me of cleanliness, like fresh laundry and lemon surface cleaner. Beautiful, but it does remind me a bit of artificial air freshener.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

Maybe Maenad or Mania--I get strawberry from both of those, but I wouldn't put either as a dupe for Beaver'versary... -
Mmm, this is good! Well behaved pretty roses and a soft, almost musk note from the leather.
-
Sweet, but also slightly bitter and medicinal floral. Pretty and interesting. A basic sweet floral with something dark and green lurking beneath.
-
Interesting! I get a very sweet scent, with floral and aquatic qualities, but predominantly just very sweet and pretty. Will need to test again. EDIT: Second test, is sweet and pretty, a kind of effervescent/champagne note in the background as well.

This is a bright white floral. Predominantly lilies and tuberose, with the powdery sweetness of the opium in the background. Very striking and almost "cleaning" sensation, but not for me.
-
Slightly powdery from the opium, slightly soapy from the honeysuckle and slightly bitter from the vetiver, yet somehow this combination works better combined than any of the individual components would on its own. Still, not for me.
-
I get all anise with a hint of vetiver in the background. Stomach churning, sickly sweet licorice.
-
Interesting. Leather and spices and man musk. Not for me.
-
A red amber and red floral scent, over the same sparkly base as The Sea Foams Milk. Not for me.
-
This smells like baby. Soft, powder (good powder!) and slightly milky over a sparkly pretty base.
-
Eden just smells like honey on me--straight, golden honey poured from the jar--not at all like what the Lab's typical "honey" note of doom smells like on me. Pretty, but not for me.
-
Not as dark as the name suggests. I get a light, fresh aquatic. Very pretty and has a somewhat floral-quality to it.
-
This smells dank and bitter and medicinal. After drydown, it just smells like Vick's vapor rub on me.
-
This starts off overwhelmingly zesty kumquat--kind of artificial and single note--luckily this tones down and the tea comes out as well as the neroli, giving it more body, but still very much a citrus scent. Nothing stands out about this to me.
-
Wow, this is super gorgeous! So excited to finally get to try it. This is a sweet, fruity light rose--the lotus comes off as almost pear-like. Pretty and girly and bright. I would put it in the same vein/family as Les Bijoux and Roses, Pearls and Diamonds--fans of either should give this one a go!
-
Starts off all vetiver--terrible on me--then the cinnamon comes out and its vetiver and cinnamon. Nooooooooooo thank you!
-
This scent is cozy encapsulated--sweet tonka, warm leather, like a fire crackling in a worn, well-loved library. Really interesting and pretty, this starts off more incense-y on me, but turns into mostly tonka and leather and wood--very sweet and warm, with the rosewood and parchment lurking in the background, adding a softer note.

Sharp aquatic notes and a sharp black musk. Aquatic men's cologne.
-
Sweet, heady green floral. Humid, wet green house flowers and greens. Both soothing and soft, and sparkling and bright.
