In the imp: Very first whiff - pure honeyed vanilla. Second whiff - total resin! On my skin: Dragon's blood completely takes over - sharp and clear, but somehow also stingy. Hint of honey pops up now and again - it's like the scents are fighting for control. I'll give it ten minutes. Ten minutes later: All the sweetness of the vanilla/honey completely ran away! :/ Now it's just dragon's blood galore - not as sharp as before, but that's all there is. Also, I accidentally got some on my nose and upper lip from overactive sniffing and now those areas have a teeny little sting to them - not in a bad way, it's just noticeable. Sometimes I can baaaarely get a faint glimpse of sweetness here, but not enough. At least now I REALLY know what dragon's blood smells like!

In the imp: Um, accidentally spilled a bit on my shirt. Next step! On my skin: It bites! Cacophonous at first, almost spicy? I'm not getting the almond at all, only the musk with something else that tickles my throat. On my shirt it stays this way (sharp musk), but on my skin it quickly blends together better and becomes more alluring. I can't tell what I'm smelling through the musk, but I'm pretty sure it's not the almond...It's strange. My first instinct is to say I don't like it, yet I keep going back for another sniff...and another...and another. Very compelling scent! I won't be getting a bottle anytime soon, but this is definitely an attention getter! Keeping the imp for sure.

I had no idea what white musk smelled like before trying this, or thought I didn't... In the imp: DILLARD'S. Holy cow. It's the perfume section of Dillard's (or any large department store, I suppose). Smells just like what I always consider perfume to smell like, since I never wear it. On my skin: It calms down a little, but it still screams Department Store Perfume Section at me like whoa. I'm not even going to wait for drydown--even if it smooths out a little, this scent in general is too "perfume"-y for me. I might buy this for my mom, though. Smelled it again: hmm, it's only been about five minutes and it's getting even mellower - some of the other scents are poking through. Might turn into something really nice in an hour...but I will still think of Dillard's. Will absolutely add to my list of gift ideas, though!

I got an imp of this in the hopes that it would smell like the leather collar I bought myself a few months ago, which is now sitting in storage with many other things, unable to be seen until September. In the imp: A new sofa. :| Not what I was hoping for - too sharp. Of course, the scent is described as RAW leather, so this is my mistake more than anything. On my skin: Oh dear. It's not just a sofa anymore - it's my dad's whole furniture store from when I was little. Definitely leather, but very sharp - almost acrid - and tasteable. Far more chemically than I was hoping for, and less deep and smooth than my collar's scent. I'll keep the imp in the hopes that I can layer it, but I won't be wearing this alone. Even if it dries down to something more subtle, it's still not quite what I was looking for.
