Initial Impression: twisted floral, spicy On Wet: spicy, gardenia?, something creamy, hint of smoke On Dry: jasmine? (smells like jasmine, I usually amp that), sharp smokiness (giving me a headache), hint of cream and spice Final Impression: very interesting scent, but the smoke took over a bit and gave me a headache Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3

Initial Impression: sweet, fruity floral On Wet: candied apples On Dry: more apple-y, still sweet Final Impression: reminds me of a juicy red apple Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 4.5

Initial Impression: spicy citrus On Wet: orange-y, amber, hint of sandalwood and spice On Dry: softer and more blended now. Rose, more spice, less citrus, musk, amber and sandalwood are more prominent. Final Impression: lovely scent, albeit a bit soft. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: carnation, spice On Wet: carnation, musk, creamy, fades quickly On Dry: gone, daddy, gone Final Impression: fades too quickly, but was beautiful while it lasted. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 4 for the scent, 2 because it fades so fast

Initial Impression: very sweet (but I tend to amp sweet). Cake mixed with something savory. On Wet: slightly off cake turning eventually to dirty socks. Ugh.. On Dry: cherries Final Impression: Weird and interesting scent. The dirty socks stage nearly did me in. Unfortunately, I'm not always very fond of cherries, so I don't think I'll be getting this one. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 2.5

Oh, how I love this scent! It's almost as good as Dorian (and that's saying a lot)! Initial Impression: soft sweet, slightly floral On Wet: vanilla, amber, softer floral On Dry: sweet pea, vanilla, amber undertones Final Impression: Gorgeous! Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 5. I will definitely be getting a big bottle of this!

Initial Impression: sickly sweet, rotting, earthy On Wet: barn, hay, undertone of decay On Dry: grass, moss, earth Final Impression: really quite nice once you get to the drydown Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3

Initial Impression: woodsy On Wet: sandalwood?, cinnamon, amber On Dry: sandalwood?, hint of cinnamon, really amping amber Final Impression: very masculine, but I love woodsy scents, so I love this. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: roses On Wet: roses going very faint, cinnamon On Dry: almost gone.. Final Impression: it was pretty while it lasted, but it didn't last long Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 2.5, only because it faded so quickly ( 3.5 for the scent itself )

Initial Impression: mixed fruity floral On Wet: Ye, gods! Jasmine! I amp it to the nth degree.. On Dry: turns into a very soft, very blended floral with a hint of fruitiness that is quite lovely.. Final Impression: very girly, but I do like it Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: a lovely blend of spices On Wet: vanilla, spice, hint of floral, but, oddly, not very sweet On Dry: spicier and more blended Final Impression: oh, so lovely! a nice, warm scent Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 4.5

Initial Impression: strong floral, almost overwhelming. Can't distinguish notes. On Wet: very strong rose On Dry: still very strong rose Final Impression: a nice, albeit, strong rose Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3

A frimp with my last order... Initial Impression: light floral mixed with fresh grass On Wet: lilies, carnations, something sweet On Dry: amping the sweet, carnations, some rose, lilies Final Impression: very pretty, very Spring-like. Reminds me of a Victorian mourning jewelry: pretty, delicate, yet a bit morbid. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3, I wish I liked florals more

I never would've picked this out at all, but a friend had it and had me try it.. Initial Impression: burning plastic On Wet: more burning plastic On Dry: grassy, sweet Finally Impression: Wow! Who would've known? Horrible in the beginning, but really lovely in the end. It smelled like Spring grass. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: cinnamon and honey On Wet: feeling some heat from the cinnamon, myrrh, honey On Dry: amping honey, cinnamon is still strong. Final Impression: I smell like Red Hots. It's very strong. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 3, nice but a little strong

A phenomenally powerful attractant. Sexual and commanding in the extreme. Initial Impression: lightly herbal and citrus. Very clean smelling. Almost soapy, but in a good way. On Wet: more lemon, maybe verbena?, less soapy but still very clean, very light On Dry: spicier, pretty sure there's lemon verbena there.. Final Impression: works very well. Maybe a little too well. I attracted all sorts of people. Problem is that I tend to attract crazies. Forgot about that. Made people more talkative towards me as well. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 5, I'm a glutton for punishment (eta description)

I have to say straight off that I'm addicted to voodoo oils whether they smell great or not. Luckily, this one does! Initial Impression: lemon On Wet: pound cake (lemon, almond, and vanilla) On Dry: more almond and vanilla, less lemon. Still delicious! Final Impression: Smells yummy! I wanted to nibble on myself. I don't know about feeling more powerful, but I did feel comforted. Maybe it was the association with pound cake? Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 4.5

Another borrowed imp I was lucky to test. Initial Impression: soft, light floral On Wet: clean, aquatic, yet slightly powdery at the same time. Very faint. On Dry: baby powder Final Impression: went baby powder then disappeared very quickly Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 2

Imp that I was lucky enough to test from fellow addict and coworker. Initial Impression: lavender, very soft On Wet: a very soft scent, really. Can barely smell anything. Watery, turning soapy. On Dry: Ew. Soapy. Final Impression: Unfortunately, it turned detergent on me. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 1

Borrowed from a fellow addict and coworker. She was kind enough to let me test a bunch of imps. Initial Impression: linen, floral (very blended, nothing stands out), softly sweet On Wet: amping sweet (as I always do), stronger linen, smells like an old-fashion powder puff On Dry: now the vanilla is coming out, the linen is softer, and the floral is making a reappearance Final Impression: Very lovely! I get the antique lace from this. Rating (on a scale of 1-5): 4, quite sure I'll be buying this in the future

Initial Impression: Light, feminine floral. Completely unexpected. I thought this would be more sultry. On Wet: Slightly powdery floral. Normally, I don't like florals, but BPAL seems to make some florals I can tolerate and some that I even like. I actually kinda like this. It makes me feel...lady-like. Weird. On Dry: Still floral, more powdery but nice. There's something about this that makes me feel a bit more flirty. Final Impression: This was one odd little imp, but it certainly does its job! And it smells dainty and feminine while doing it too. I rather like this. Rating (on a scale of 1 to 5): 4

Brings peace to the spirit, a sense of calm and fulfillment, and attracts the aid of beneficial spirits. As soon as I read the description for this, I knew I had to try it. I need all of the peace, calm, and beneficial aid I can get! I was just hoping it would smell pretty too. Initial Impression: Straight from the imp this smells very light, watery or water-like, with a hint of flowers. On Wet: It's a delicate floral over aquatics. It smells just like flowers floating on water. It has a very Ophelia feeling about it. Light, romantic. It also reminds me of those old fashioned hair tonics without the lavender. On Dry: The aquatics fade and are replaced with a more powdery smell. The flowers are still there. Final Impression: This is a very pretty, delicate scent. I don't usually go for that, but it did make me feel calm and relaxed even when I was running late for an appointment (I really hate being late and usually stress out a lot), so this is a definite keeper. Rating (on a scale of 1 to 5): 3.5. 3 for the scent, 4 for what it does.

Named after the primordial ocean of milk where Lord Vishnu reclines upon the thousand-headed Naga. Sweet milk and warm, healing ginger with a touch of golden honey and our blend of Ambrosia. Came back to revise this after trying this scent once more after a long absence. Initial Impression: I immediately smell ginger and a creamy, almost coconut-y smell On Wet: ginger, cream, hint of spice. I'm told I smell like cinnamon and sugar after straight off after putting some on. Later I'm told I smell like ginger ale. On Dry: This turns almost completely milky on me with just a hint of ginger and spice in the background. I almost swear I smell shea in this. Final Impression: A light throw, but so very lovely. I'd forgotten how beautiful it was. Rating (on a scale of 1 to 5): 3.5

After looking at the description, I wondered if this might be one of those amazingly complex scents that keeps changing every five seconds. I also worried about the amount of florals in it. (Retried recently and modified rating and review) Initial Impression: This smells very soft to me. A very light floral. Strong aquatic notes. On Wet: It's turned brighter and sweeter. Still quite floral, but not heavily so. I smell the lime and the barest hint of musk coming out. Slight antiseptic smell. On Dry: More lime and coconut now. Amping the musk and a hint of citrus. Something smells vaguely antiseptic. Coconut is gone. Final Impression: Unfortunately, this turned a bit antiseptic on me otherwise this would have been a pretty and unusual scent. But I prefer Embalming Fluid if I want musk and citrus. Rating (on a scale of 1 to 5): 2
