Damask Rose

This one was very heavy and sensual, but for me there was too much amber and not enough rose. It reminded me of the smell of the hippy shops I used to go in as a student! I do quite like amber but it was a bit overpowering for me, but if you like amber I think you will LOVE this one!

I really liked this one as it was exactly the right combination of fruity and floral. However, the pomegranate smelt rather sickly on my skin so I don't think I will be buying it. I think that's just how it smelt on me though as it smelt lovely in the bottle. I would recommend this but won't be buying it for myself.

I like this one, but it hasn't really grabbed me. It seems to fade quite quickly too. It has quite a strong rose scent, but with some sweetness too from the honey. I'm not sure about this one. I like it but I'm not sure if I like it enough to order a whole bottle. I think I'll have to try it again to see.

Yuck!!! Never thought I would say this about a BPAL oil but I hated this one. It has a really sickly sweet flowerly smell. I really thought it was awful and nothing like its description. I wonder if anyone else out there thinks the same, or if I just have a strange nose!

It's a really heavy fruity scent, with a hint of heavy floral scents and lemon. Really complex and smells delicious. It smells a bit strong on me though as I accidentally spilled the whole vial on me when I was trying it!! Oops! What a waste. Think I will definitely buy a bottle of this though. It's one of my favourites so far.

The jasmine and frangipani are the strongest scents in this one. It's very floral but kind of "eastern". It's too floral for me really but if you like frangipani you will love this!

This one is lovely but actually has too much musk in it for me. It reminds me of a perfume my Mum had when I was little. I think it was Yardley Musk or something like that. Has a very sweet musk smell. Lovely, but not my kind of thing.

I LOVE this one!! But then I am a huge fan of rose. I usually don't like tea rose at all as I find it too insipid but this one is anything but insipid. It is a really clear rose smell, almost like a single note of rose, but there is something in it that is making tea rose stronger than usual and adding some depth. Will definitely be buying a bottle of this.

I tried Queen Mab today for the first time and I love it! It was actually a free sample from Elizabeth that I didn't order and I'm so glad she gave it to me as I probably wouldn't have picked it out on my own. As ereyone else has said, it has a very dark, heavy floral smell, but with a lot of sweetness. I've been wearing it all day now and all that is really left is the sweetness and it still smells great. I'll definitely be getting a full bottle of this!
