    Murderous Frogs

Equal parts apple and patchouli. The apple is definitely green, being more of a tart note. The vetiver and green musk are not noticeable on me. They play a supporting role for the patchouli, making it more rooty, earthy, and green in this scent. The tart, sweet apple and the spicy, earthy patchouli compliment each other really well. Unfortunately, not to my taste, I was more hoping for an apple dominated scent.

    Yuletide Bacchanal

Boozy fruit punch. I don't get any spice and the sugar just adds to the fruit and berry notes. Very juicy and fresh, and with a fair amount of wine. None of the fruits really stick out on their own, instead all working together to give the scent a fresh squeezed quality to it. This is one of my favorites from this year's yules, great mix of fruit/berries and booze.

    October 34th

Smells like a big fall festival. I get a number of things in this scent, but the cinnamon pinecones are the strongest. Fall spices are not far beyond. I do not get the candy note, though I could swear there's apple in here. The pinecone overall makes the scent feel more outdoors and foresty to me. I get the general sense of an open air celebration, one last party to get all the autumn goodness in before the winter.

    Banana Pancakes

Starts off with a strong artificial banana note, which reminds me more of banana syrup than banana pancakes. The banana quickly dissipates, leaving behind very sweet pancakes. I get a little of the walnut in the background, otherwise it's plain pancakes with whip cream and a lot of syrup.

    Dapper Mandrake Goes A-Courtin’

An elevated root scent. I get mandrake the most, but the vetiver and galangal root are definitely there. The three work together to make this an almost sweet root scent, without it being that earthy. I can't pick out the cologne on its own, though I suspect its adding in rounding out the scent. Good wear without being in one's face. Overall, a fancy mandrake/root scent.

    Spiced Pumpkin Cider

Strong and spicy apple cider. I can't pick out the pumpkin on its own, but its adding additional fall spice and rounding out the edge of the cider. Very much a fall scent.

    Red Velvet Tuxedo

This ended up being the sleeper hit of this year's yules for me. On me, it definitely ends up being more than the sum of its parts. I don't get the fruitcake, but I do get that distinct red velvet cake note. The red velvet is the strongest note and the most forward on me. The cologne rests under the red velvet, giving it a warm, almost boozy roundness to the cake, like it was baked it. The image that comes to mind is a red velvet cupcake spritzing itself with cologne.

    Spumoni

On me, this is more of a cherry and chocolate pastry scent. I think the pistachio is coming off as a generic baked goods smell for me. I do get the chocolate and maraschino cherries, but it ends up smelling a little too sugary and artificial for my tastes.

    Carved Wooden Abattoir

Pine made more atmospheric and spicy with the blood note. I could almost mistake it for a single note. The blood almost gives the pine a carbonated quality on me. Overall, a more subdued take on a pine scent.

    Cranberry, Tonka, and Amber

More of a cranberry and amber duo on me. At most the tonka gives the scent a green edge to it. Cranberry is the strongest scent here. The amber is noticeable, but does more to depthen the cranberry, making it a warmer and somehow more berry scent. Overall, a deceptively simple cranberry scent with warm amber.

    Cranberries, Strawberries, and Sweet Cream

Sweet berry scent. This is more of a strawberry and cranberry duo on me. The sweet cream does make the scent sweeter, but I cannot pick it out at all on me. And I would describe the scent as being noticeably more strawberry than cranberry. Overall, very berry, very fresh, with just a dash of extra sweetness.

    Shortbread Diamonds

This scent is faint and sits close to the skin on me. I get more of a cashmere scent, than a baked goods scent. I would describe this as an elevated baked good scented fabric softener/dryer sheet, in the best way. Not for me, but I'm sure someone who wants a simple, cozy scent will like this one.

    Boozy Lemon Bars

What it says on the tin. The lemon is very sweet, will also being sour. It reminds me more of a lemon candy in that way. I get just enough baked good and booze to be noticeable. Overall, a sweet lemon desert.

    Velvet Snow

I haven't tried the original Velvet, so I don't have that for comparison. I would describe Velvet Snow as a fuzzy sweetened chocolate scent. I get chocolate and myrrh the most. I cannot pick out the vanilla, but I suspect it's what's making it more of a chocolate, instead of cacao scent. Surprisingly, I'm not getting any sandalwood, instead more of a general fuzziness that supports the myrrh. Lastly, I do not get any snow. Overall, a mellow, comforting chocolate and myrrh scent.

    Cranberry, Almond, and Dark Musk

Surprisingly sinister on me. I get all three notes listed. The dark musk is the strongest and I would describe it as an inky musk. The cranberry in this scent is sweet, but I would not categorize this as a cranberry scent. The bitter almond is just barely there, and adds to the dark musk, making it slightly spicy.

    Marranitos

Sweet and spicy cookies. There's more going in the scent than just a spicy gingerbread note. While the sweet ginger baked good dominates, I do get a number of other spices, including the cinnamon and pepper. Warm, spicy, still very sweet. Overall a seasonal cookie scent.

    TKSnow

Must love TKO. I was hoping for more of a balance between TKO and Snow White. Instead, it's the strong, sweet lavender of TKO, with just enough snow in the background to be noticeable. Not to my tastes, but I'm sure this would be a hit with any TKO lover.

    Welcome Unto Thee

I would describe this as a champaign single note. The marshmallow is there, but I can't pick it out on its own. It adds a fluffiness, and later a creaminess, to the scent. Overall, the scent is a slightly fizzier, sweeter champaign single note than others I've come across, but a single note none the less. Enjoyable, but I was hoping for something a little more unique.

    A Yuletide Revenge Tale

On me the spice ale is really strong, and the spice specifically is so strong and earthy it smells woodsy and smokey. I can pick out the fruit, but it's pushed to the back by the spice/smoke scent. Not what I was expecting at all. And to my tastes, the spiced ale works against the fruity sweetness from the rest of the notes.

    Carved Wooden Soda Shop

On me, this is a root beer single note. I'm not getting any ice cream float. The cedar is there, but I cannot pick it out on its own. Instead, the cedar adds to the root beer, making it more medicinal and almost bubblegum like. In comparison to other root beer scents, this one is also more fizzy. It's a pleasant scent, but I was hoping for something a little bit more special/unique.

    Snow White Rabbit

Snow, linen, and ginger. I don't get the other listed notes, but there is a noticeable sweetness to the scent. I would describe it as a trio note, but the three noticeable components, snow, linen, and ginger, blend so well together on me, that unless I'm concentrating, I cannot tell them apart. Very pleasant, it retains the fluffiness of the snow note, while having a crispness from the ginger, helped by the linen.

Up the Stairs We’ll Dance the Tango

Black cherry with honey and spice. I can't pick out the fig. And the red currant in the scent is more of a warm spice on me. Overall, I would describe this as a cherry mulled wine. The black cherry keeps it fresh and juicy, while having a noticeable fall/winter sweet spice edge to the scent.

    Snow Lion

Amber and snow. Very much Snow White but with amber instead of rose. Simple, warm (while still being a snow scent), and I would describe it as 'glowy.'

    In Silvery Accents, Whispering Low

On me, this ends up being a cardamom, myrrh, and velvet scent. It does start out as a coffee scent, but the coffee quickly goes away, leaving the cardamom and other spices. The myrrh and what smells to me like a cashmere/velvet note also comes out. Overall, much more of a warm, spicy, cozy scent with a little coffee in the background. Personally, not what I was hoping for, but I tend to struggle with spiced coffee scents.

    Birb Mob

On me, this is a sweet smoke scent with a backdrop of a chilly night in a pine forest. While not immediate, the pink peppercorn ashes dominate the scent. The starry musk and snowdrift notes combine into this atmospheric 'chilly' component, that is not as strong and is less forward than the ash note. I also smell wood, it's vague and on the pine side for me. It's too much of a sweet smoke scent for my tastes. But if you're searching for a pine bonfire on a winter's night, only sweeter, type of scent, this may be for you.
