Very sweet and sugary coconut, I get a hint of cardamom. Sadly, on me this wasn't anything special. Coconut is one of my favorite notes, but I have other coconut scents in my collection that are more unique than this.
-
I get more noticeably more ginger than lemon. The scent overall is fresh smelling, but with the strong spice of ginger, and lemon to round it out. I'm more of a citrus lover, so I was a little disappointed with how it turned out on me.

Rose water and cognac, reminds me a lot of A Spirit Katie. Light, sweet, and rosy.
-
Just like a caramel apple, very sweet, with the sharp crisp of the apple to balance it out. I do get a little bit of the butterscotch as well. Very sweet overall and very foody.
-
Icy musk, giving a cool sense to the scent, little bit of pine. I don't get the eucalyptus, but after wearing it a while, I do get a hint of opoponax. Very cool, light, and understated on me.
-
Almost all clove on me. Spicy but almost fresh smelling. Can't pick out the chocolate on its own, but it gives the scent a certain sweetness to it (without it being foody).

Lemon cupcakes filled with honey. I was worried for a moment as I can only smell honey in the bottle, but on my skin, it's buttery lemon creme, with a noticeable helping of honey. Very sweet and cakie, lemon and honey scent.

Orange with a large side of ginger. While orange is the star of the scent, the ginger is obviously there. The ginger brings a pleasant bite to the scent and smells almost green in a way. I can't pick out the red musk and tea on their own, but they bring a certain depth to the orange. For citrus fans who like ginger for sure.

Pink Peach, Grapefruit, Yuzu, & Pink Musk
samanare replied to zankoku_zen's topic in Event Exclusive Oils
On me, it's almost equal parts citrus (grapefruit and yuzu) and peach. The peach rounds out the sharpness of the grapefruit. Very fruity and bright.- 6 replies

Mint creme, light, sugary, and very minty. A very foodie mint scent. I'm smelling the barest hint of the lemongrass, but get none of the blueberry or tangerine. Overall, pretty and almost winter holiday like scent, but I wish it wasn't so dominated by mint.

I get a lot of labdanum at first. It takes a while, but the vetiver does start to come out more and more. For me, starts off as a labdanum scent, ends as a vetiver scent. I don't get any cacao or vanilla, though I do suspect it helps to mellow out the scent. -
I get pure lemongrass. It's that sweet-citrus scent I associate with lemongrass. Very strong and great throw. I do not get tonka at all. To me it's like I stuck my face in a jar of lemongrass tea. I love citrus so I do enjoy this one, just wish it was more complex.

This is pure strawberry on me. I cannot pick out the rosebud, but the scent has a certain roundness to it that I imagine comes from the rose. Unfortunately, strawberry has a tendency to smell fake and shampoo like for me and this is no exception. I was really hoping this would be more of a rose-strawberry partnership, but I imagine strawberry lovers will like it.

This is pretty much pure coconut on me. The coconut is more on the meaty side and has a woodsy musk to it (I'm guessing that's both the black musk and bark). I'm imagining a coconut that just fell off the tree.
-
A sweet, airy scent. I definitely get vanilla, not so much the incense part, and it's a very sweet, airy vanilla, without being light, if that makes sense. I get more bergamot than lemon, but it's definitely citrus. Overall, a sweet and well rounded blend of vanilla and bergamot.

Champagne and lemon-lime candy. Very bubbly and it smells more and more like a lemon drop as the scent wears.
-
Starts off as straight cherry hard candy. As it wears, I get more and more rose, but the sugary, cherry flavored candy still dominates. On me, this smells very close to Rose Jam from Lush.
-
Straight molasses cookies on me. Very foodie, slightly buttery and the sugar is balanced out nicely by the spice of the molasses.
-
Sugary mint candy. Not the after dinner mints, but rather a sugary, hard candy frosted with mint. I do not get apple at all. I do like that the amount of sugar takes the scent into candy territory and away from a more musky mint scent, but you still have to really like mint to like this scent (IMO).

Lemon balm dominates this scent on me, with juniper playing a supporting role. The juniper takes it away from being medicinal, while the lemon keeps it from being particularly woodsy. A pretty unique mix of bright lemon, slightly earthy and spicy balm, with some fresh cut wood. Like if Home Depot had a lemon balm isle and the lumper isle was a few down, but elevated into a perfume.
-
Coconut, followed by ginger, with a little bit of tea in the background. More of a beachy coconut and the ginger is present, but playing a supporting role. Pretty tropical with that ginger zing to it. One of my new favorite coconut scents.
-
Creamy almond milk and beachy coconut. On me, the scent is an equal mix of both, with an extra, slightly spicy musk in the back, which I think is the skin musk part. On the soft side and low throw. As a coconut lover, I like it, but I'm not sure I love it.
-
Bright grapefruit. Smells like grapefruit juice with a healthy amount of orange juice mixed it. Very bright and on the sweet side on me. As a citrus lover, I'm really enjoying this one.
-
A strong coconut scent. With the orris, it leans more towards a buttery/coconut meat side of coconut, with almost an earthy quality to it. Definitely not a sweet coconut here.

Silvery champagne with ambergris and something murky. I get champagne the most after I first apply. As it dries and wears the ambergris starts to come out more until it rivals the champagne notes. I cannot pick out the other notes, but I can tell something else is lurking in the scent and it adds to the ambergris, giving it almost a murky edge.
