    Lavender Earl Grey Cookies

Lavender and bergamot cookies. The bergamot dominates the earl grey component of the scent. And the strength of the bergamot note reminds me of Dad Let Me Do Your Makeup, and brings to mind cookies being fully submerged in earl grey tea. The lavender is also strong here, and it is the sugary, sweet lavender of other lavender gourmand scents (like Carry Me). The cookie note of the scent is more sugar cookie in nature, and rounds out the scent, without being lost. Overall, lavender and bergamot sugar cookies, that are more lavender and bergamot than cookie, while still being foodie.

    Coffee Cream Pie

Very much reminds me of Bah!, as others pointed out. I get more strong brewed coffee with a fair amount of cream and sugar than a baked good. Personally, I'm not picking out the chocolate or the crust/cookies. Overall, this is another of the Lab's sweet, strong coffee scents, as opposed to a baked gourmand scent.

    Oatmeal, Rose Petals, and Sugar

A jammy, sugary, red rose, almost single note. The rose note dominates on me. And I read it as a red rose scent, though it's not as deep as other red rose scents. The sugar is not so much its own note, as added to the rose, making it a sugary rose scent, but still more of a red rose, as opposed to a pink or tea rose to me. I cannot pick out the oatmeal, but there is a softness to the scent. Overall, while the sugar and oatmeal are adding something to the scent, it ends up reading as a rose single note on me. As a rose lover I was torn about this one, but decided on sticking with a decant, as opposed to getting a full bottle.

    21 Snowballs

Gin slush. On me, this is a gin and snow duo. The snow note here isn't fluffy so much as icy, snowy slush. But in a good way, like you made your own in slushy by filling a cup up with snow and poured gin over it. Overall, smells like a simple, wintery, slightly icy cocktail.

    Vintage Candy Garland Blow Mold

Smells like a catch all candy bowl on me. I get the various fruit candies, and the after dinner mints are there too. I also get a hint of chocolate candies, more milk chocolate ones with candy coating. I don't get the amber so much as it smells like the candy bowl got left too close to something that gives off heat and they've all started melting together. It makes this candy/halloween haul potpourri. I can pick out the various notes but they all come together without being overwhelming.

    Snowy Cross

Snowy incense. I cannot pick out the rose in this scent. I think the snow note is overpowering it, but the frankincense is definitely there. And the scent overall very nicely balances the snow note with the surprisingly deep, resiny frankincense. Pleasant, but I was hoping for more rose.

    Snow-Covered Cathedral

The snow note here is coming off more silvered note on me. I do get the stone note. Overall, this reads more like a silvered, chilled stone scent, than a snow covered stone building. It's pretty, but comes off more sharp than snowy to me.

    Gingerbread Hot Cocoa

Gingerbread and chocolate. I'm definitely getting gingerbread. The hot cocoa reads more as chocolate, make a sweet chocolate bar or chocolate chips. And I don't get a marshmallow note, more a cookie, baked sweets note. Overall, it reminds me more of gingerbread cookies with chocolate chips, or chocolate chip cookies with gingerbread cookies where the latter is fresher out of the oven.

    Lavender Lemon Bar

A bright lemon lavender duo. This is unfortunately not a foodie scent on me. The lemon lavender duo of the scent is quite strong and reminds me more of Happy Baby in a Long Dress than a baked good. The scent does not go full cleaning supply on me and is still very enjoyable (as someone who likes lemon lavender duos), though doesn't stick out among the similar scents I already have. I'm happy with an imp, but not tempted by getting a full bottle.

    Lavender Brownie

Brownies with lavender on top. This is a soft, but not weak, foodie scent on me. The brownie and lavender are pretty equally matched. The brownie is a brownie note, and has a noticeable gooey quality to it. The lavender is surprisingly floral/plant like, without taking away from the baked goods nature of the scent. Overall, a soft gourmand duo.

    Lavender Coconut Cream Pie

More of a lavender cream pie on me. The coconut is there, but it's soft and ends up getting eaten up bu the cream pie nature of the scent. And the scent is definitely a foodie, fluffy, pie filling scent. Though it smells more like soft, whipped lavender cream filling. A very pleasant, light, foodie lavender scent, but ends up being a little simple for my liking.

    Lavender Coconut Cream Pie

Lavender and jasmine on me. For some reason, the coconut in this scent reads as jasmine one me instead and overwhelms a lot of the scent. I can pick out the cream pie nature of the scent. And the lavender is definitely there. But the jasmine is the strongest and turns this into a floral scent for me, as opposed to a foodie scent.

    Pumpkin Gingerbread Creme Brulee Pie

This is pumpkin spice pie on me. I don't get any creme brulee or gingerbread notes. I do get a breaded crust element to the scent though. I think the gingerbread is disappearing in the pumpkin spice of it all for me. So instead, this feels very fall and is far more pumpkin spice desert than pumpkin.

    Gingerbread Ghost

A heady bouquet with some greenery and baked sweets on the side. The florals dominate strongly on me. I can pick out the osmanthus, lilies, and delphimiums, but mostly the florals combine into one, fresh cut bouquet note. I can also pick out the ivy, which gives a greenery undercurrent to the scent. The gingerbread is there, but barely noticeable on me. And it smells more like baked sweet than gingerbread specifically. Overall, a strong floral scent, with greenery and gingerbread on the side.

    Snow Lotus

More floral than snow/icy on me. The lotus notes were surprisingly strong on me. I'm more used to lotus being a softer floral. It's a pretty floral scent, with the other notes making it slightly earthy. The frost/snow component smells more like a silvered note to me than the lab's usual snow note. So overall, not the soft, snowy floral I was expecting, but a silvered lotus dominated scent, that's made slightly spicy by the other notes.

    Vintage Snowman Blow Mold

Almost a spruce/evergreen single note on me. I do get a little bit of amber, but the spruce note is by far the strongest. Reminds me of a real evergreen wreath one might get during the winter. It's pleasant, but simple and doesn't stick out among the evergreen scents I already have.

    Grasshopper Pie

Airy mint chocolate mousse. I don't get a pie scent, so much as solely its filling. As you can expect, all mint chocolate foodie goodness. It does have an airy, cream filling nature to it, which elevates it from melted andes chocolates. Pleasant and certainly not a harsh mint scent, but I wish it had more going on.

    Gingerbread Oudh

Earthy and root like on me, not anywhere close to being foodie. This is still a ginger scent, but very subdued and earthy. The oud part of the scent reminds me more of a toned down vetiver or patchouli. I was hoping for a more earthy, spicy foodie scent, so this surprised me by going way past that. Overall: subdued and very earthy ginger.

    Carved Wooden Bakery

A savory bakery scent. The wood notes end up being strongest on me, but there is a noticeable laminated (ie airy and flaky) bread note to this scent. I don't get any chocolate, just warm, well used wooden countertops and cooking utensils and fresh baked bread. To me, this smells exactly like coming to a bakery when it first opens, fresh bread and an oven warmed interior.
  20. samanare

    The Black Torches

As one may expect, a resiny evergreen wood scent. I would describe this as more of a resin scent, between the myrrh, frankincense and incense, than a pine/balsam scent. It has an evergreen note to it, but is far from a winter woods scent. Overall, incense smoke and resin scent, with a side of pine/balsam.

    Fountain with Owls

This is a silver musk and iris duo on me. It's pleasant and almost sharp, though I was hoping for some of the other notes to shine through. Definitely an iris scent.

    Lemon Peel, Frankincense, and Mastic

Not for me, but if you want a take on a lemon scent, that is not in your face bright and citrus, this may be for you. Definitely a mix all three notes. The lemon is the most up front, but the frankincense is surprisingly strong on me. It, along with the mastic make this really incense smoke and resin scent that smothers the lemon peel. This scent is more lemon frankincense or lemon resin than what I would consider to be a citrus scent. I like almost overpowering lemon scents, so this wasn't a hit for me. But overall, an interesting take on a lemon scent.
  23. Cheesecake with a blueberry crumble on top. The blueberry note is the strongest note, but I definitely get the cheesecake note too. I don't get a deep fried note, so much as a graham cracker note. Overall, a blueberry dessert scent. Bright and berry, while still being foodie.

    Honeyed Pear Tart

Strong, sweet and tart pears with honey. This smells more like straight up pears to me than a pear based dessert. Great throw. So simple while still being very much there. Very pear dominated scent.

    Black Pine, Frankincense, and Leather

A pine and leather duo. Unfortunately, the leather note on me really reminds me of a leather car seat. So, while the pine is nice, deep and almost resiny, this scent is too 'new car' smell for me.
