    The Fool’s Tranquility

This is the first honey scent I've gotten from BPAL. I was worried, a little, after seeing tarotgirl's review, that it would end up cloying on me. But I think that even if I couldn't identify the pepper on the nose, it managed to keep this from going too far. I had the same experience of long last, little throw. It's over twelve hours since I put it on, and I can still press my nose to my wrist and get that sweetness very faintly. Which is great for making it through a Friday to the weekend.

    Server Gremlins

There's a vegetal note that I've been trying to describe in this imp, and haven't landed. Some people have said pine and juniper, but there's something like...cucumber? Green bell pepper? Celery juice comes close. I keep finding this vegetable-y and I love it. I definitely get the rubbery/green leather note--it reminds me of stripping wires when I was a US Navy ET, and the acrid note of dust-in-high-voltage-equipment. Of course, I have to disclaim bias: my callsign when working convention security is Gremlin. EDIT: After seeing the description of Doozers and Gorg's Garden, I couldn't help but wonder if the vegetable I'm catching is a radish, actually.

    Bravery, Courage, Confidence, Intimidation, Power

This is totally my experience with Wrath, too. It lasts wonderfully, which means you don't need to worry about losing steam, and the raw power I feel when I put it on is amazing.

    Non-powdery honeyed/rainy white floral recommendations?

For your rain-drenched florals, you might consider New Orleans. The jasmine and honeysuckle notes are rich and decadent, but the lemon and spice bring something to it that's more grounded. As for woodsy, Red Queen ended up like wet woodchips on my skin with only the faintest cherry note. If that had been my goal, it would have been perfect, but it teased me with the cherry scent strongly in the imp. Still, it's worth a try for what you're looking for.

    The Red Queen

Ah, Red Queen, my one disappointment so far. The scent in the imp was tempting, more cherry than wood, and delightfully complex, but when it dried down on my, the result was...wet woodchips. Not that I mind a good woodsy scent, but I was disappointed that despite most scents ending up remarkably sweet on me, this one kind of...fizzled. Even the woody smell didn't make it until lunch. Still, there are times when I might pull the imp out again. I wonder if during the summer, it might do different things on my body.

    Wrath

Do you want something that lasts all day? Wrath is something that lingers on my skin (and in my hair), a spicy-sweet temptation that I love wearing. It's probably my next full-bottle purchase. Almost everything takes on a certain sweetness on my skin, and the first impression I got from this was some sort of cinnamon and clove candy with hints of that deeper, earthier tone that I'm assuming was the dragon's blood. It's rich and hearty and if it were a food, I might worry about it giving me heartburn. I don't tend to pick up on the pepper much, at least in the overtones. Wearing this instills me with a greater confidence than almost anything else I've tried so far, and that's almost as powerful as anything else about it. This scent is not particularly gendered (to me), but it's not particularly 'warm and inviting' in the way some may be looking for.

    Elegba

This is my "vacation" scent, and one that the receptionist at my work tends to love. I sometimes worry about smelling 'boozy', though, when wearing this. The sweet notes really stay with me on the skin, and I don't tend to pick up on the tobacco quite as much as I would like. It is wonderfully non-gendered, though. I find that the sweetness isn't "girly", which is a very nice thing.
