This started out as cold steam with screechy rosemary booze and white tea, but settled into this refreshing tea and steam smell. I think this would be very refreshing to wear on a hot day.

Super earthy with an edge of brown banana peel, mixed with fig. The silk blends into the earthy notes and doesn't stand out to my nose. I really like this.

Wet, this was a soft matcha with sugar water and little bits of floral and fruit. Now its green tea and sakuma drops candy (fruit flavored hard candy). I really like how this one wears, but it's not quite what I was hoping for.

Sharp, cold pine needles. This is more bitter than I was expecting. I'm not mad about it. I think this would be refreshing during hot weather.

Wet, this was artificial mixed fruit flavor narcissus and wax, but after it settled, I got an interesting vintage blend of narcissus and rosewater with a nutty date note and a mineralic quality. Try this if you're interested in scents like Gun Moll or the Century Guild Kickstarter blends.

This smells like a thin mint cookie, or an andes mint. The mint in this sticks around, so if you were disappointed by the mint in the 2024 lick it hair gloss which had a chocolate note, try this. It doesn't smell like Hohensalzburg Fortress on me, unfortunately.

The veggie scents are always the ones I'm most curious about the lupers, and this is basically a Shunga. Upon sniff: fresh, breezy aquatic with lettuce and what smells like jamica instead of radish, and pepper spice. On me: I like it so far. It's fresh and light. I can smell wasabi, but it doesn't have that burning quality of horseradish (most wasabi in the US is mostly horseradish). I get a bit more starch as it dries down and the aquatic becomes a bit perfumey. It's settled, and it's a radish starchy aquatic. Still fresh, but that slightly spicy edge is mostly gone and that's what I liked most about this scent. -
I picked this up for the Angelica root. This does indeed smell rooty. Dry, dusty and rooty with a nutty edge of what smells like cacao to me but is probably tonka? I didn't get much bourbon upon initial sniff, but the bourbon and vanilla blooms quickly on my skin and becomes noticeable. There's eventually a slight sweetness I am assuming is from the fig wood. The root note here is similar to other BPAL scents with root notes such as screaming mandragora, and The Wind and the Willows: Badger. The nutty dustiness also reminds me of Haute Macabre: As Above. Try this if you like the Haute Macabre, and Bloodmilk scents. I like this after it settles on my skin. This smells like a drier version of Bloodmilk: Grief Moth part 1 on me.

I picked up a low partial out of sheer curiosity. Upon sniff: grassy hay, a bit of sweetness from the apple, barnyard oud. You're walking by a horse stable during hay bailing, and you can smell that 'horses poop here' distant scent. Skin test: about the same, but the oud is getting a little louder. Okay, it's settling. Dank musk forward, grassy hay and apple. I don't mind it. The musk eventually settles completely into the background. If I could go straight to the dry down I'd get a bottle. Compared to In lctu Oculi, this is more generally wearable with the musk settling as a smooth background note. This is also a bit sweeter.

Sweaty, cow patty oud with strong metallic and stone notes and a sour edge from the myrrh. I pick up hints of vellum and ink initially, but it all blurs together as the scent settles on my skin. Now the ink note is getting stronger, and the stable smell is receding and I'm not mad at it, though freshly applied this is not for the faint of heart. The oud slowly morphs into something deep and animalic, reminding me more of the smell of a horse and less of the stable. I am curious to how this smells to others on me.

In the bottle I get a tiny bit of cherry, amber musk and boozy vanilla. On my skin, the cherry shows up briefly and is a luxardo sort of cherry. Still very musk and vanilla forward. I think I need to come to terms with my skin absolutely eating cherry scents as this happens to every single one. On the right person I think this would be really sultry and dark without being too foody. That person just isn't me, sadly.

This smells like peach rings with a hefty dose of BPALS red amber. I was hoping for something a bit more earthy with a more realistic peach.

Pom flavored sweet tarts. Now it's floral sweet tarts. It settles into tart peony. I think this would be refreshing for summer.
