    Ectoplasm

2024 Version This is very close to the Avocado, White Musk, Lemongrass trio, but not as creamy. The combo of lemongrass and white amber over davana is zingy and refreshing.
  2. Biocarbons

    Pomegranate, Carnation, and Peonies

Pom flavored sweet tarts. Now it's floral sweet tarts. It settles into tart peony. I think this would be refreshing for summer.

    Poinsettia Gown Hair Gloss

This is different from the oil to my nose. The poinsettia is there in the background always, but isn't forward enough for me. The jasmine is flatter...more papery? This tickles my sinuses in a way the oil doesn't unfortunately.

Black Pine and Incense Smoke Atmosphere Spray

This has cumin or paprika in it or something similar because I can smell pine, and incense, and spicy lime corn chip... actually now it's black pine and cool ranch Doritos. I'm not mad at it....but I'm going to set my decant sit for a bit and see if it smells different with a little aging.

Lick it with Consent Hair Gloss

This is definitely chocolate and peppermint vanilla. Like, the waxy chocolate ice cream parlours dip ice cream in. The peppermint is a little sharp for this to read like mint and chocolate chip ice cream to me, but it's in the ball park.

    Black Cherry Sufganiyot

LOUD black Cherry over vanilla. Black Cherry syrup over vanilla. In a good way. The pastry is a barely there background note.
  7. Biocarbons

Incense and Blackcurrant Sufganiyot Atmosphere Spray

Opens with a big, loud vanilla HELLO and then it's all about the jammy blackcurrent and incense. This has more blackcurrent to my nose than the oil did.
  8. Biocarbons

    Midnight Mass Hair Gloss

Waxy frankincense and myrrh. It almost smells like it has tobacco in it. I'm going to age this a while and see what it does. It doesn't smell like the midnight mass oil to me, but my bottle of oil is really aged.
  9. Biocarbons

    Tattie Bogle

2009 Version This smells to me like a horse stable in need of a clean, and some gunpowder.

    Vision

Spicy, woody pink florals with a bit of neroli over the top. There's a smoky quality to it that I don't like. This is one of those scents where the combination of the smoke and citrus translates to me as air freshener sprayed to cover the stale cigarette smell in a room. As it sits on my skin, the smoke calms down and the clove comes forward then settles and the pink florals bloom. Ok, now it reminds me a bit of gun moll. The mid-2000s version of gun moll. Ultimately this dried down to a clove spiced pink floral with a hint of neroli.

    Cemetery in the Moonlight

Wet: MOSSY, grassy, vetiver with iron railing poking out haphazardly over oud. This is mostly green oud now. I'm not mad at it, but I want to compare it to ruins of castle Karnstein. Karnstein is sharper and slightly more 'masc' than cemetery.
  12. Biocarbons

    Porcelain Krampus

Wet: wow, I was not expecting this to open with hella koolaid fruity, but here we are. The leather and switches are very light, while this scent is dominated by the musky rice milk, orris, vanilla combo. Ok, now I'm getting more leather. Ultimately this settled into a slightly fruity (currant?), musky porcelain over the traditional Krampus notes of leather and wood.
  13. Biocarbons

    Mircalla, Countess Karnstein

This scent is heavy, leaden roses over soft black velvet with a few berries strewn about for ambiance. If you like heavy, dark rose scents with a hint of fruit this is for you.
  14. Biocarbons

    Datura Blossom

Velvety, white blossoms with an earthy greenness. Reminds me of lilies in a vaguely vintage way. This is more what I was expecting from the Tomie perfume.
  15. Biocarbons

    Ruins of Karnstein

Woody, mossy, green, bitter. The vetiver is dark green, bitter and a little stanky. There's a stone note in the background, and as the oil sits on my skin the vetiver gets smoky. Vetiver forward, masc leaning.
