Ugh, this had a strong sharp bitter note that I couldn't stand. The sweetness is there but the bitter takes the stage and wafts around minacingly. I've added some Eat the Strawberries to help pump up the sweet factor, but the sharpness never really dulls enough for my taste. Disappointed

Omg, I was expecting sweet sugar smell, but I was not anticipating the spice. Sugar Skull smells like liquid sugar syrup dashed with a whole bunch of cinnamon and cloves. Almost like honey and pumpkin spice. If you've ever walked into a candle store during Halloween season and they have all the fall scents out so when you get to the entrance, you're hit with a blast of sweet and spicy commingling together, that what this is. It's so sticky sweet, but the spices conjure up images of autumn decorations like red leaf garlands and scarecrows sitting on strawbales. I think this would be a good room spray if you can keep a light hand. One too many spritzs, and you've become a honey hive with cinnamon dripping off the walls. Like an over eagar sopallia that tumbled through the sugar and spice until it caked on so heavily, you lost the pastry bread completely.

I like fruit smells, so I was enticed by the mango and fig description. It's not nearly as mango forward as I'd hope. It's sweet, but the tea and patchouli have really adulterated it into something more. Giving it an edge that I'm not super fond of, but I don't hate it either. If it was more like a fruity tea, I would've been all over it, but the patchouli is giving it that perfumey note that makes it not a foody smell. Not bad, but not fruit/food like I wished it was. Still gonna wear it and see how long term I'll enjoy it.

2020 version, this smells...leafy. Definitely like a leaf. You've picked up a giant dead leaf and squashed you nose into it. A strong vegetal smell that can't even be described as green, as it smells like, well, dead leaves. My nose doesn't get the "cold air" quality like others seem pinpoint nor a smoke note, but it does fade into a spicy cologne. If you want to smell like a pile of autumn leaves, this scent is for you.

I heard much about the famous snake oil scent and finally scored a new bottle. Smells like...cologne. Not super pungent because there's no alcohol to carry the smell, but strong enough to conjure the image of a sexy man dressing up for an evening out on the town. Masculine, yet sweet. I kinda like it, but not my favorite. I think the sugar or vanilla keeps it in the ballpark for me and not too musky. If I'm having an androgenous day and don't feel super feminine, I think this would be a good scent to wear. 🤷 It almost smells familiar, but I think it's just memories it conjures up. Reminds me of when I would wear Cool Water by Davidoff. Masculine perfume with a sweet edge, but in this case, no aquatic smell. Maybe aging it will morphe it a bit. We shall wait and see. Ooo, and after it dries down and airs out, it loses the top notes and a smoky, spiced vanilla resides. Mmmm... Pleasant 🙂 ..

I bought an imp to tryout and wish I'd bought a bottle instead because I feel like I could use this often as a warm holiday scent. I don't think "pumpkin pie" because it's much sweeter than that. It's more like a spiced peach pie. Very dessert like. It has that sweetened, pumpkin spice, fruit filling hitting the nose first and a baked pastry undertone to round it out. Delicious! The smell doesn't last long as my skin seems to drink it in and it'll fade into a nice vanilla candle smell before disappating to nothing. Short throw, doesn't last, but a pleasant scent.

I never knew I needed more salty scents. It's so sweet and salty, it smells like salted caramel popcorn. Almost nutty, like salted peanuts with a touch of sugar. Sweet and savory. Definitely a treat! The only bad thing is the smell disappates quickly. Within an hour or two, my skin loses it. No wood at all; just lovely snack food. I love it, but might be burning through the bottle quickly to maintain the strength of the throw. I need to try more popcorn smells now 😁

Oooo, a very pink smell. Fruity guava, faint strawberry undertone, sweetness all the way. No milk undertones to me. Altho the "pinkiness" of the fruit seems well supported and doesn't turn plastic. That might be the creaminess hiding underneath helping the guava shine bright. Def a favorite of this fall batch that I bought.

Mmm... Dark magenta, raspberry, fruity smell. Sweetness of sugar and red fruit. Not cherry forward like the Lupercalia 2020 Cherry Bomb collection. No medicinal/lozenge quality, just smeared raspberry jam sugariness. Hasn't turned into a plastic-lip balm smell like strawberry can do on my skin.
