Okay, so on first application i get a blast of juicy fruit and pink starburst candy. The internet tells me pink starburst is strawberry, a-ha! which morphs into identifiable mango. as a person who has smashed many mangoes with an immersion blender, i can tell it makes a big fruity entrance. MANGO! Sweet, not acidic. Then mango + fat berries! I blind bought the bottle because i was enamored with the concept hook, line and sinker (Delirium was my favorite of the Endless, and I love Kathy Acker, and obviously Delirium has the best font, etc etc). Immediately afterward while I was waiting for the order to come in the mail I was wondering what the hell I'd done as I tend to like bitter herbaceous, dirt, dark, and tend not to like purely sweet candy type scents. Which would seemingly indicate that I am sweety fruit smells averse, and perhaps tone deaf/heavy handed possibly over zealous with dank swamp scents, so reader beware. Also a recent imp test drive of Bordello is making me think that blackcurrant might not be my thing, and I get too preoccupied with that fruity/juicy berry note, so lovers of tropical+black currant might go hog wild for the opening. But there are no big florals or heady musks, or evil basement smells that I can detect. When I'm not obsessing on the fruit and chillax, there's some way tranquil rainy crisp shaded Japanese pagoda at the botanical garden vibes and dry smells in the background, the ginger is dry to me, and the eucalyptus smells like minty forest and grass, very mellow -- no cat pee of tea tree/camphor slap your face eucalyptus thank goodness. After the scent calms down in half an hour, I think i might be enchanted? these soft dry grass herbaceous smells are my cup of tea for sure. There's a kind of medicinal fresh smell that is blended with the benzoin, but thats a super phantasmic ethereal hint of a ghost of a dream noticeable to me. Really elegant dry down. I'm kinda getting a Jardin Sur le Nil memory, but Things We Do... is a lot less fancy hair gel smelling to me. Also the last time I smelled Jardin Sur le Nil was like 10 years ago, but there's a kinda tropical + garden smell. Then the garden bit fades a way and there's a vague jam on skin scent afterward. Update: every time I've worn this I've received components on the way I smell

Wet, bordello is like the strawberry shampoo I used as a toddler. Big fruity sweet playtime. Definite herbal essences, lush rose jam minus the rose vibes. Fruity fun. Linear, stays happy fruity and jubilant. I would have loved this when I was younger. Gummy sweet berry dumb fun. Not picking up any booze elements. Sweet sweet! Clean, as in not particularly dark and dirty but not detergenty or soapy either. The drydown is pretty consistent, still sweet, fun, innocuous, playful. Flirty. I think this would smell really good on a youngster or younger co-worker, but not me, as I prefer to smell like a 500 yr old bog witch lately. However it is definitely pleasant, and would smell good as a hair or toiletry product or lotion or if you're into body sprays. Recalls a fun night out, or a first date, or some brush with a hotty at an eighties night. I would definitely adore this on the right person. Big time cute vibes!

Visible chunks of presumably cocoa in the bottle. A strange wet smell, water chocolate flower mush. I use the full imp, for a full body experience. The chocolate puts me off at first, wet, but as other reviews have mention is dries down. Patchouli, leather, dryness, faint spice, cloud of faint sandy white flower aura. Well-balanced. Soft, warm, smells elegant and "expensive" if that makes any sense. Surprisingly light and close to the skin for a visibly dark and metaphorically heavy scent. Does not read as heavy to me. This would be fabulous as an every day after shave or fancy lad lotion scent, or if you wanted to smell like a fancy hot classy masc boi at work. Definitely sexy, subtle, and mild. Handsome, definitely. Blood rituals and familial sacrifice to an aloof warrior jaguar god of blackness? not quite there, but I would perhaps follow someone around and admire their smell wearing this. Recommend! PS. Lately I have a preference for stank stinky loud "I AM WEARING PERFUME" scents, so this is something a bit more reserved than I like.

Squirting cucumber is so charming. Lily of the valley/muguet, lilac, rose geranium, undercurrent of rosemary, basil?, citrus Simultaneously cucumber, fleeting fresh cut grass scent. Both vegetable and elegant bridal spring time scent. Light, refreshing, angelic with a fancy hotel lotion-esque drydown. This smells super classy me. Recommended for pastel femme situations, descending staircases in sheer white nightgowns with marabu, and appearing more virtuous while clandestinely handling produce at the farmers market
