This review is for the 2016 version! This was alll peppermint creamy vanilla frosting on me! So creamy and sweet. The throw is pretty good, which I appreciate. Does get play-doh like near the end but it's not that strong. No cake appeared for me, maybe a touch of chocolate but that's about it. It's definitely more sweet than mint if that's a concern. Pretty good, not my favorite peppermint blend but it sure is up there.

This is a pretty faint rose, not as soapy as some roses can be but there was definitely a sort of minty note to me as well. It does not last long at all, maybe 30 minutes if I'm being generous. So I cannot recommend this for the smell alone. I used this oil for peace and I'm glad to say it worked for what I needed. The conversation I had before wearing this oil, which I anticipated would have ended badly, went very well. Actually, a lot better than I was hoping for. So while I'm not a big fan of the scent itself, I'm glad it worked for what I needed.

Sprayed this on my shirt sleeve since I don't wear wigs. I like it! I'm getting an almost tea like scent from this, could be the musk? That violet and blueberry combo is beautiful, and I wish that the grapefruit appeared. When I applied this without looking at notes, I thought there was some green grape note included. The throw is pretty low, but if you are using this on your wig that's probably a good thing. Wish this was a perfume, it's kind of got a calming effect that I could see useful for sleeping.

Upon application, this screamed ginger snaps to me! Not sure why, maybe it's the honey fuzzy musk and milk combo? I haven't tried too many BPAL milk notes, but I like it in here. It resembles more of a vanilla cream on my skin. The soil note is in the background and I'm thankful it doesn't dominate these other notes. I wish my dogs smelled as sweet as this. Will likely be fine with this decant.

Was dying to try this after loving the 2020 Liliths scent of the same name, even though they couldn't be more different. Started off with a harsh asphalt and lavender note, and I believe it's the oudh that makes this super perfumey initially. It didn't really smell rain like until well after drying as the lavender and asphalt soften while the musk gets stronger. I didn't get the hype until about an hour in now that it's soft and less harsh. I agree that this would be a lovely and calming sleep note, if you put it on about an hour before bed in my case. I think I'll be alright with this decant, but glad I tried it.

Like everyone else, I don't get pecan pie from this. It's all honeyed cream with the pie crust. Some pie spices in here as well such as cinnamon and vanilla, although initially that vanilla resembled more of a frosting to my nose than extract. It's like sweet cinnamon buns with no icing. I like it, but if you are dying for that pecan pie smell this may not be the oil for you.

I'm getting way more sugary lollipops than the blueberry once dried down. It's definitely artificial and I think there might have been a raspberry note too. Kinda resembles cotton candy more to me. It's fun and sweet, but wish that sweet blueberry lasted longer. Gets a little play-doh like after a while.

This is sooo faint, I have no idea the age of this imp. It's a strong floral and booze scent with not much else on me besides hints of spice. Not hating it, but it's just not for me. I love a good boozy blend, but I am just not digging the florals in here. I'd probably like this better as a soap of something instead of a perfume.

I did not read this as jellybean, I was getting more of a cherry lollipop scent. As it dried and the popcorn got stronger, I can definitely smell the mix of fruity flavored beans now. I think the popcorn and jelly bean scents are pretty even, one note doesn't seem to overtake the other in my case. Love this, definitely a great popcorn scent. And now I miss movie theaters glad I've got this scent until I feel safe going back to one.

Faint, soft vanilla sweet pea. Reminds me of Bath and Body Works, but nicer? This would be a great sleep scent for sure, with the low throw I wouldn't wear this for any other reason except for layering. Will not be upgrading, but I'll hold onto the imp.

Tons of Oreos, mostly the dark chocolate wafer cookie part. This morphed a lot on me: started Oreos, then I got the roses, and now it's a pretty even blend of the two with frankincense. No cotton candy at all, kinda sad cause that's one of my favorite notes. This is more floral than foodie for sure, and I'll be honest I wasn't sure if I would like the Oreos mixed with the florals. It's still a little unusual, not bad but takes some getting used to. A keeper, mostly because of the Oreos .

The description was not lying with the heavy incense notes. That's basically all that I get! It calms down considerably and I can get a touch of the florals and smoky patch. It's not horrible, but I was definitely not expecting it to be so strong. Will not be upgrading, but I'll keep it around in case I crave an incense blend one day.

This is so faint, it's a shame. A beautiful peachy floral musk. Lasts about an hour on me before fading to the mossy musk. I wish this performed better on me, but it could be because of the age of my imp.

Lemon lavender Dorian with some grassy notes. Clove is pretty faint on me, but it comes out more when dry. I like it, maybe not more than regular Dorian, but this is still a nice summery blend. Dorian itself is probably the second faintest after the clove. Honestly, I might not have been able to tell Dorian was in here if I didn't know.

Initially when I put this on, the buttercream read as buttery popcorn to me. But with time, that note fades considerably and now it's mostly a creamy coconut with some buttercream and vanilla. I don't get much of a cake note here, it's all creamy frostings. This is beautiful, a must have if you adore coconut. Can't even be too mad at the lack of the red velvet cupcakes note.

This review is for the 2006 version, however I have a sniffie imp of the 2010 one and I couldn't identify any differences from smell alone. Slightly waxy apple cider with a bunch of cranberries. I'm not sure what note is giving me wax, but I want to say cranberries because I haven't tried too many oils with that note. It's juicy and warm but not sweet. Really lovely, although the cider itself is one of the weaker note. This is basically cranberry juice with a small amount of apple cider. There is a tiny bit of spice, but not much. Not sure if I'll upgrade, but this is a nice fall fruit blend and to me doesn't scream too foodie if that is a concern for you.

Boozy floral with baby powder and musk. The florals all blend together so they can be hard to identify, but the ones that stand out the most are rose and lily of the valley. Imp is likely aged, so I didn't get any tangerine. Weirdly, doesn't get soapy on me like some florals can. It's not horrible, I'm sure it'd be lovely on other people, but it's not for me personally. The florals are too strong, maybe if I got the tangerine and more amber it'd be more wearable.

I got the coffee beans when first applied, but as it dried down this turned into pretty much a dead leaves single note. It's smoky and woodsy with the faintest traces of piping hot black coffee. Very fall and dark, this is not a sugary sweet coffee at all. Definitely wish I got the cacao that other reviewers have mentioned, but nope it's all dead, burning leaves next to the coffee shop. Not too bad, I am a little picky with what Dead Leaves scents I like and I'm glad this is not bad. Definitely wanted more coffee bean, and maybe some sweetness, but I do enjoy it and this would make a great oil to layer with.

This review is for the 2009 version! Love this, a super sticky sweet butterscotch and caramel with hints of apples and rum. I don't get any coconut from this, but I definitely get the booze. I'm also kinda getting a lip gloss type of note as it dries which reminds me of the red apple lip gloss I loved as a kid. I do get both butterscotch and caramel, however the latter is a lot stronger. Throw is on the low side, but it does tend to stay around for a good bit which makes up for that. I would have liked for coconut to appear, but other than that I still really love this blend. It's (red) delicious! I think this would pair nicely with Who Is Nibbling At My House hair gloss.

Sharp dark black leather, giving me new car smell. This must be really aged cause no amber or tobacco from this imp that I can tell. Not a fan, it's a little strong. If you love any and all leathers, you should have this in your collection for sure!

Very very green grass and a fresh clean cucumber. Think of a salad made from homegrown cucumber and dandelions and that's kinda what this is like on me. Too grassy for my tastes and also too much cucumber. Would have liked this better if it had more different notes.

Extra spicy Snake Oil. It's almost cinnamon bun like but without the dough and icing. As it fades, it resembles a lighter than usual Snake Oil on me. Since I do not have a bottle of regular Snake Oil, I'm glad to have a bottle of this! I would definitely consider getting this if you love the spices of Snake Oil the most.

Kinda getting a fruity and soft floral shampoo vibe from this. No leather, no teakwood. And the mint is pretty faint. It's alright but not what I hoped to get from this!

Woody and green. I've actually never had rhubarb so I wouldn't be able to identify it in this blend. More oak than I wanted personally and didn't last too long. Maybe a newer imp would have more of the fig leaf and chamomile present.

A clean green scent, definitely agree with the above review comparing this to Embalming Fluid. Super minty sea salty tea in my case, like the kind of tea a mermaid would drink. I wasn't a big fan of first when it was very aquatic, but it eventually mellowed out and got better.
