This is the first thing I have tried from Twilight Alchemy Lab, and what can I say expect this was a much needed oil in my life. As for the scent, this is a calming lemon lavender grassy blend. Beautiful and smells like summer to me, just needed to put on a little extra to make the scent get stronger. For its intended purpose, I actually didn't use this to help with doom scrolling. I used it to help stop myself from contacting someone online who had hurt me. And for that it definitely worked. I did not reach out to that person, and honestly actually forgot about wanting to contact them until the next day. Not only does it smell lovely, but is a literal lifesaver. Will have to try this with actual doom scrolling next time!

Creamy banana coconut, not getting too much chocolate but to me it doesn't resemble raw. More like milk chocolate I'd say. The banana in here is fantastic but the coconut is also lovely and sweet. Kinda like banana cream pie with a dusting of cocoa and coconut I'd say. A great BPAL banana, probably one of the best. Super creamy and slightly tropical from the coconut. A favorite!

Soapy clean floral but there's something else here I can't quite place my finger on. I have not tried any of the Amanda Palmer scents so I can't compare it to anything from that collection. I don't get clay, but something similar. Dirty and kinda like gunpowder and a little bit aquatic as well. Personally not a fan, but it is interesting.
-
Darkly clean aquatic with a little bit of greenness. I personally didn't get the ink, but I got a metallic seaweed note along with citrus as the main players. This is a lot going on here at one time, kinda fitting for the name. It's interesting as hell and weird, but not as off-putting as some other scents with these notes would be to me. It's like a sunken ship's laundry room got covered in seaweed. Intriguing and worth a try even if you don't wear aquatics much like me.

Clean sugary vanilla honey, almost like linen but not quite. Maybe the imp is just aged to hell, but the throw and staying power are fairly low. Can't see myself wearing this on its own, definitely for layering.

A sweet dark strawberry and cherry floral, kind of powdery but not as much as the hair gloss. Vanilla is about the only note that doesn't stand out to me, everything else appears. A great blend, one of the best from the General Collection for sure!

More cherry and powdery than the perfume oil in my experience. Kinda like a baby powdery cherry Pixystix? Throw is fairly good and stays a long time. Wish I got more of the musk and strawberry that I got in the oil, but it's still great and definitely one of my favorite hair glosses for sure.

Clove and patchouli musk mostly! Honestly got kind of a red wine vibe from this initially, but that's nowhere in the notes. Goes on strong, but mellows out and gets sweeter with time. Pretty good, doubt I'll upgrade but I'm pleased that this ended up working on me.

Oh yeah, this imp has definitely aged because I'm not getting any grapefruit. I got a sweet apple ginger tea instead. This also is completely gone in no time at all. It faded into a somewhat clean soapy scent, probably the apple blossom doing that. Wanted to like this more, I love the inspiration and the notes, but maybe a fresher imp will work better.

Clove cotton candy with a touch of pepper. I got more pepper when it was wet, but as it dried it's faded into the background. Lasts pretty well for a cotton candy scent, as much as I love that note it can vary in wear time on me. Initially without looking at the notes, I thought there was some cinnamon in this. This is a lovely scent. If you love cotton candy but want a twist, try this!

Darkly sweet blackberry, definitely not the fecal kind of oudh thank goodness. I can see the ink resemblance for sure. The sweetness from the blackberry is almost stronger on me, but in the bottle I get more of the oudh. When wet, the oudh reminded me of dark chocolate almost. It's pretty good and definitely a keeper.

This is really good. Sweet waxy strawberry drizzled with honey. Not getting the type of strawberries freshly picked from the patch, more like macerated and mixed with the honey that includes the comb. Can definitely see the candy resemblance too! I think I'll need a bottle for sure.

This was one of the few Fire Down Below scents that caught my eye. It's definitely sweet tea with a splash of rum alright, but it barely lasts on me! Not even an hour before it's mostly gone. On it's own it's a bit disappointing, but if you want basically a sweet tea single note this is probably close! Could be nice for layering.

I've never smelled clove cigarettes before, so I can't compare how this smells to those. But what I did get from this was a nice smoky clove and tobacco with a little bit of the paper wrapper. It doesn't scream cigarettes to me like some blends I've tried. The smoke is pretty faint and the clove is the main attraction. This has a very strong throw, kinda like actual cigarettes. I've never been a smoker, but after experiencing this I can see why some people preferred these to regular cigarettes.

I can't even begin to review this monstrosity (I mean this in a nice way, I'm kind of amazed how terrible this is). So when I get a new bottle in the mail, I sniff it before testing a few days or so after settling. I decided to not do it with this. I knew it was gonna be gross, I read the previous reviews, but I wanted to be extra shocked. Spoiler for a gross part of the review (CW: vomit) It's all crappy diaper smothered in a shit ton of chalky baby powder to try and mask the smell but actually makes it worse. No grass notes, just the nastiest oudh in the world. It stays stinky for hours, eventually it fades to chalk but it was a good 4 or so hours in. Hell, I almost washed this off. If this was the first oudh scent I tried, I would never touch that note again. It's taken a few duds (like Vampire Lace), but I have found some lovely oudh perfumes that don't smell this terrible. I haaaate this so much, but I love it? I adore testing all these weird scents and while I am definitely not going to be wearing this again (unless I want to gross out people on purpose), this is the greatest disgusting perfume I have ever tried. Not sure if it can be topped, to be quite honest.

I can't comment on how similar this is to Rose Red since I haven't gotten a chance to try it, however I can definitely see some Snow White in here. The rose is sooo strong and definitely takes over the faint powdery snow. I have to say this is the nicest BPAL rose I have tried. It's gorgeous and not too perfumey, smells like I've got a bouquet right next to me.

Mostly beeswax with powdery dark chocolate. Not getting any kind of honey note, just waxy chocolates. None of these notes dominate the other on me, they are both about even which I appreciate. This reminds me so much of Beeswax, Cedarwood, and Bourbon Vanilla. That scent went chocolatey on me so if you have one of these you probably won't need the other since I can't find a big difference between the two.

Another Lab frottle. Murky water, kinda has a cologne quality to it. Definitely earthy and dirty from the mushroom notes. But it's also clean at the same time from the celery seed and lime rind. It's interesting. I'm getting more of a clean green vibe from this than the dirt but it's still present in the background and keeps this from smelling like shampoo or something. Nicer than expected, loved seeing it morph on my skin with all these different notes. A keeper for sure!

In my experience, I'm barely getting dead leaves. I'm getting a very clean and soapy apple scent with the dead leaves in the background. I guess that note just fades a lot if you give it a couple of years, this was a frottle from the Lab. It's nice, although the throw is very low. Will enjoy using this for layering.

To start off, the throw on this is really good! This is a very black and bitter coffee, no sugar/cream/milk to be found but I think there may be a touch of cinnamon. Almost smells kinda burnt to my nose. I don't drink coffee often and definitely not black, so that just may be the regular coffee smell. A little dark for me, I like my coffee perfumes with tons of cream and milk like in real life. But if you want to make the coffee stronger in a blend, this could be good for layering.
-
Lots of caramel and vanilla initially, it took me a while to identify the coffee. This is like a Frappuccino to me. I think if you layered this with a stronger coffee note, say Black Coffee that I am also testing today, that might work better if you want more coffee but still like the sweetness from this. Pretty good as far as sweet blends go, but this is one of the weaker coffee ones I have tried.

Floral and sweet baby powder. Very soft and gentle with an extremely low throw. Reminds me of my own mother, actually. Probably wouldn't wear this on its own, but I'm sure it'd be good to layer.

This just smells like soap on me! Like a fancy smelling one that has been left abandoned in a haunted house covered with dust and cobwebs, but soap nonetheless. I'm guessing that's either the white musk/amber or the carrot seed that's making it smell that way on me. I'm getting a touch of the opium tar but it's very faint and the other notes overpower it almost entirely. If you really dig your dusty notes or soap, you should try this. It almost reminds me of Possessed Teen without the smokiness.

This is great and a lot of fun, far exceeded my expectations! Started out heavily kumquat and citrus from the orange blossom, but with time those notes fade to a powder and that allows the pepper and tea to shine. Reminds me of a sugary candy version of White Rabbit without the linen notes. Pretty nice, one of my favorites from Mad Tea Party so far!

Sharp, kinda alcohol dirt with some clay like bone and grasses. No floral notes on me and fades very fast within an hour. Love Hamlet so I'll probably keep this around for that or to layer with a scent that I want some dirt with.
