    Comforting Plush Companion

Definitely a warm and sweet scent! The honeyed musk note reminds me of fur. And when I first applied it, the sugar plum note reminded me more of a powdery bubblegum or lollipop scent. It fades somewhat quickly on me though, about 3 hours. But I could see this being a great sleep time scent for it's coziness and warmth.

    Chocolate Blood

There's no blood note at all to me, it's dark chocolate syrup! I've never tried Bosco, so to me it resembles Hershey's. Reminds me of making chocolate milk as a kid. It's got a little bit of sweetness, but not enough to turn it into milk chocolate. After wearing it for a few hours, I am starting to get a little bit of a powder note. Now I'd say it is starting to resemble cocoa powder instead of chocolate syrup. Regardless, it;s still very chocolately and delicious, chocolate note lovers shouldn't skip this in my opinion!

    Last Year's Stale Candy Corn

Very sugary sweet with some vanilla cream and a little bit buttery. I think this resembles candy corn pretty well! I do get a slight powdery note when it's dry, but it's not off-putting to me. I wouldn't exactly call this "stale" candy corn though. Glad I took a chance on this bottle.

    Nuclear Winter

Review is for 2016 version! Lots and lots of mint candies, I'm picture Peppermint Patties without the chocolate note. There's a little but of sugar but the mint is definitely the strongest note. It's clean and fresh, I could see this being a good comforting scent to wear when I'm feeling under the weather. There's a frosty note in here as well and I want to say a tiny bit of florals as well. Very sweet and perfect for wintertime. Really glad I picked up a bottle!

    Snow White

This review is for the 2015 version! Very soft and sweet coconut shavings and powdery snow with a hint of vanilla and some florals. I can't really pinpoint what florals they are though, maybe lily or holly? It's definitely something winter. This is so gorgeous! I'm not sure how different my version is from other years, but I'm a huge fan of this.

    Woman as Dragon

This is a very smoky, spicy, but also slightly sweet blend on my skin. Very accurate for a dragon. Not getting any blood notes, not even the dragon's blood resin. It's mostly the red musk, soil, tobacco, patchouli, ginger, and peppercorn. I think the faint sweetness is coming from the amber, but I'm not sure because there's a lot going on with this it can be tricky picking out the individual notes. It's a very strong scent, but it stays pretty close to the skin on me. It's sinister and interesting, and pretty sexy too. I wish the throw was stronger, but then again this scent might not be for everyone. This was an unexpected surprise, and while I can't see myself reaching for this often, I do enjoy this for a special occasion.

Please Scream Inside Your Snake Oil

This started off as mostly the funnel cake from Please Scream Inside Your Heart with a hint of Snake Oil. But as it started to dry, the Snake Oil totally overtook the funnel cake and pushed it into the background. I'm sure as this ages, it'll get even sweeter. But even without much age to it, this is still a pretty sweet Snake Oil blend. I actually like it a little bit more than regular Snake Oil! If you're a big fan of Snake Oil, you have to try this.

    Beeswax, Cedarwood & Bourbon Vanilla

I'm not a huge fan of wax notes, but this one ended up being pretty nice! I mostly got the bourbon vanilla and beeswax. The beeswax is sweet, like there's still some honey clinging to it. Not getting much cedarwood until it dries, but even then it still stays predominantly in the background. This does have a very long wear time, which I really appreciate! Still going fairly strong 6 hours later, only the bourbon vanilla has faded. It now resembles a powdery chocolate beeswax for some reason. Skin chemistry is weird.

    Sour Lemon Smut

A very sugary and tart lemon, pretty much like the Lemonhead candies. The Smut in this makes it a little bit boozy to me. When it starts to fade, the sour turns into a powdered sugar scent. Wear time is pretty average for BPAL and the throw wasn't too bad either. This was an unexpected favorite! This is my second favorite Smut-o-Ween right after Lollipop Smut.

    Toy-Strewn Attic

Very unique and interesting scent. I got a metallic note, dry tea leaves, polished wood, and a little bit of dusty rose as it morphed on me while wet. The metallic note in this almost reminds me of the Razors in a Doll's House hair gloss, but I don't think it's silver. When it dries, it's mostly a dusty, metallic wooden scent with a little soapiness. There is a lot going on in this blend, and I'm sure the dry down is completely different on other people. I normally am not a huge fan of woodsy scents, but it works really well in this due to all the notes.

    Apple Spice Hard Candy

When wet, this is pretty much like a Jolly Rancher. It's a very sweet apple scent and almost reminds me of apple cider. When it dries down, it's apple spice. But the spice note isn't very strong, it's definitely more apple forward. Sadly, this did not last very long, around 2 hours. But it was a very fun and sweet scent while it lasted!

    Peanut

Honeyed creamy fig and almonds. This is a very comforting scent! It's nutty and sweet, reminds me of homemade dog biscuits or something. Only complaint is that I wish I got the myrrh note! Really lovely and glad I took a chance on getting this.

A Demon and Her Unholy Basketball

Sugary sweet and slightly artificial pumpkin with red musk. I can't detect any brimstone or "smoke" note in this. I think the red musk is a lot stronger than the pumpkin sugar. I'm really enjoying this. It's sweet and fun, but not completely foodie thanks to the musk. If only the pumpkin note was a bit stronger, but maybe some aging will fix that!

Please Scream Inside Your Pumpkin Patch

At first I thought this resembled pumpkin spice, but as it dried down the hay and pumpkin got stronger than the spices. The pumpkin notes come close, but they don't overpower the funnel cake. This is super sweet and reminds me a little bit of French toast. This is probably the best Please Scream Inside Your Heart blend that the Lab offers, in my opinion. If you try any of the blends, I would definitely recommend this one first!

Please Scream Inside Your Haunted House

Sawdust woodsy funnel cakes, which sounds way pleasanter than you can imagine. The wood and sawdust are stronger than the funnel cake note to me. I was a little hesitant to try this even though I love Please Scream Inside Your Heart because I'm not a big fan of wood notes, but this works really well and keep the funnel cake from being completely foodie; It just adds a little sweetness.

    Creaking Floorboards

Polished wood and smoke are the main notes I get from this. Tea is there but it smells more like the leaves to me. Not getting any blood at all. The throw is very strong on this at first, but it does fade within a few hours. This is so unlike anything else in my collection so I'm glad I got to try it, however I am not a fan of this. It's too strong and I'm getting more of the polished wood than the smoke I was anticipating, plus the lack of the blood note on me was a bummer. No upgrade for me.

Dead Leaves, Marshmallow, and Pistachio Cream

This starts off as the smoky dead leaves scent with some marshmallows, almost reminds me of s'mores. The pistachio cream comes out when it starts to dry and blends in together with the marshmallow. After some time, the dead leaves scent completely fades on me and it's just the creamy pistachio marshmallow scent. It's sweet but not overly so, what little is left of the dead leaves scent on me keeps this from being completely foodie. Not sure how I feel about this. I do like it! But I was hoping the dead leaves scent lasted longer. The throw is pretty low too, which is another reason that I probably won't get a bottle. However, I would suggest this if you love marshmallow scents with a bit of smokiness.

    Honey Taffy Smut

Smut with lots of sugar and honey! It's really gorgeous, however Smut faded pretty quickly on me and now it's just a faintly sweet honey dust . I don't really get taffy from this at all, just the honeyed Smut. Even though it didn't perform that great on me, this is still a fantastic Smut-o-Ween release and I would highly suggest picking this one up if you love honey notes. No bottle upgrade, but I'm hoping with some aging the Smut won't fade on me again.

    Sentence First, Verdict Afterwards

This is basically a rose single note on me, I don't get any other notes when it was wet and after it dried down. It's a very clean roses scent, not powdery at all. Even though I am disappointed that there's no tobacco or clove on me, this is still a really good BPAL rose blend. So I think rose lovers would enjoy this! Will keep my decant, but won't upgrade to a bottle.

    Lollipop Smut

Gorgeous! This is a very strong cherry bubblegum scent, but one that doesn't end up turning powdery or plasticy on me. Unlike most of the Smut-o-Ween scents I've tried, I can actually pick out Smut once it's dried down. The musks don't overpower the lollipop note, it just turns it into sour candy. My only complaint is that the throw isn't that great and it fades somewhat quickly, but that tends to be the case on me with most of the bubblegum scents from BPAL I have tried. Those negatives aside aren't enough to make me dislike this blend. The comparisons of Lollipop Smut to Jailbait are pretty spot on, I would grab this if you are looking for a scent similar to that but slightly more mature. Absolutely going to get a bottle as soon as I can, this is my favorite from the 2020 Weenies so far!

    Booboo Eyes

Starts off with lots of lemon, followed by the rosewater and lavender. It turned slightly minty on me but I'm not sure what note caused it. Sandalwood doesn't appear until well after it's dried down. It's a very pretty and calming scent! If you adore rosewater scents, I would add this to your wish list. Not going to upgrade, but I'll keep my decant. This pairs especially well with Razors in a Doll's House hair gloss.

    Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Pie

Really enjoying this! There was a ton of chocolate at first, so much so that I couldn't pick out any of the other notes. But after a little time drying, most of the chocolate has faded into the background. Now it's cinnamon graham crackers with a hint of pumpkin pie. I wish I was getting the cream cheese from this, one of the main reasons I picked up a decant of this, but I can't detect it at all. I wish the chocolate lasted longer, but this is still a great blend. I didn't know how badly I'd crave a graham cracker scent until I tried this out today! Might upgrade, but for now I think I'm going to be fine with this decant.

    Candy Apple Smut

This was weird on me. I mostly got the sweet, caramel apple and none of the Smut when I first applied it. It started very sugary, but after an hour it just smells like cinnamon and the faintest bit of apple with some sugar. A little disappointed for multiple reasons: there was barely any Smut and it faded considerably after a short amount of time. I don't know if aging is going to improve this one or not, but we'll see. So far, this was the biggest disappointment from the 2020 Weenies for me. Definitely no bottle upgrade.

    Baby’s First Ballista

This is very true to the scent description: warm sugar cookies and vanilla bean! I'm not a fan of the pretty low throw on this despite how great it smells. The wood takes a while to appear on me, a couple hours after it dried down. Tempted for a bottle, but I don't think I'd wear this on it's own much. This seems like it'd make a good layering scent.

    Arlecchina

In the decant, all I could smell was the leather which put me off initially. But luckily, the blackberry showed up once I applied it to my skin with the black currant peeking through as it begun to try. Despite the initial scent, this turned out way nicer than I hoped! The blackberry and black currant do a good job sweetening up this blend but not completely overpowering the leather note. Not sure if I'll get a bottle yet, but this is for sure a contender, especially if that leather fades a bit with age.
