    Juliet

There's no grape notes in this, but I swear it smelled like grape juice when I first sniffed it? It was probably the pear. But wow this is wonderful, I may enjoy this more than Titania. This almost reminds me of an Ariana Grande perfume because almost all of hers have pear notes. This is a very sweet floral that is not overpowering. However, for me the strength isn't that good. Only a couple hours after applying and I have to put my wrist straight up to my nose to really smell it. This could just be that I need to apply more, when I try imps I try not to slather myself in the oils. It also has a faint powdery, clean smell, maybe it's from the musk. I really enjoy this and will keep my imp. I may keep an eye out for a bottle to see if the wear length is really just from me not applying enough.

    Depraved

I couldn't get into this at first, it smelled super woodsy and earthy. But it died down and now it's pretty good, not a whole lot of patchouli but a lot of sweetness from the apricot and a bit powdery as well. Love the name and I do like the smell now, but I can't see myself getting a bottle. Happy to have tried it though!

    Zip Line

I can't smell the leather, but I would say this is pretty true to the cinnamon buns scent. Although they mostly just smell like the buns without the icing. Definitely some vanilla in there too with some honey but it's mostly cinnamon and the dough for me. The person above me compared it to cinammon potpourri and I'd have to agree although it's not a bad scent to me, definitely more wearable than some other BPAL scents I've tried that smell like it. Will keep my bottle for sure.

    Pisces 2017

In the Bottle: Peppermint faintly and some sea salt? On Me: As someone with a ton of water (especially Pisces) in my chart, I had to try this blindbottled. The first sniff really confused me because it totally smelled like peppermints in Fairy Bites just toned down a little. But once on my skin, that went away pretty quickly and now I can detect the lavender and musks. Very pretty but it was definitely a grower on me! Going to keep the bottle for sure.

    Lust

In the Imp: I'm only detecting patchouli On Me: Red musk blends in with the patchouli wonderfully, an addicting smell that I can't stop sniffing. Slight powderyness too which I like and that might be what's making this smell sort of sweet to me. Beautiful scent, but I haven't decided yet if this will be bottle worthy due to owning similar scents. Seeing some comparisons to Sin, which is on my wishlist and I haven't tried it yet.If I happen to get an imp of that and notice any similarities, I will update this review.

Départ Pour Le Sabbat (Aufbruch Zum Hexensabbat)

In the Imp: Patchouli and alcohol On Me: Thankfully the alchohol scent subsides and the milk and honey come through with a sprinkle of vanilla. It's an enjoyable scent and glad to have gotten a frimp of this from a forum member. If I didn't already have similar scents, I'd try and get a bottle of this ASAP because it's lovely.

    Frostbitten Alice

In the Imp: Carnations and spices. No Alice On Me: Other reviewers are comparing it to Snow White so it must be that I smell. I'll have to get an imp of that and update this review. It's a nice scent though, very winter! I feel like it smells a little bit woodsy (maybe pine?) as well. Maybe with more aging the Alice notes will come out but I truly can't smell it at all, even with both imps next to each other. Can't see myself getting a bottle but I'll enjoy my imp in the meantime.

    Ode on Melancholy

In the Imp: Lavender and rose, but their scent isn't strong at all. I think there's some other florals mixed in here too, but I can't pick them out. Probably the ones listed in the notes like wisteria. On Me: Baby powder with florals. I wasn't expecting it to smell like this. I do enjoy baby powder scents so there's no complaints over here. It's a comforting scent but I think I should have put more on, I have to put my wrist right up at my nose to smell it. I could see this being bottle worthy, but I do prefer Follow Me Boy to this.

    Baron Samedi

In the Imp: Started out as cherry cough medicine for kids On Me: Okay so I've never had rum so I can't compare this to that. And I'm not sure if my skin chemistry is messing with the notes or something. Because it really did start off smelling like cherry cough syrup and I was half tempted to wash this off and mark it as a Death Note (I like cherries, but not in medicine). But I gave it a few minutes as I was doing things around the house and now it smells like those hard candies you find at your grandma's house, the cinnamon ones in the red wrapper. So if you can picture those candies mixed with cherry Coke, cloves, and smoke, that is pretty much how this smells to me. I was frimped this with an order on the forum, and I'm glad this was given to me because I enjoy it. It did take some time for the cherry scent to die down and for the other notes to come into play, and that might be a dealbreaker for some people.

    Halloween Carnival Atmosphere Spray

My first Atmospheric Spray and wow I am in love. This scent was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Salty sweet kettle corn and leaves with a hint of sawdust. Beautiful and delicious, a perfect compliment to Please Scream Inside Your Heart that I'm wearing today. It does resemble Mouse Circus to me, but I'd say it's more salty than sweet. Would love if they re-release this and make it a BPAL scent as well.

    Please Scream Inside Your Heart

In the Bottle: Caramels, bread, and maple syrup On Me: I blind bottled this one because I wanted a scent that I thought would layer well with my current favorite Mouse Circus. And while I have yet to layer the two, this is a wonderful scent and I'm glad I didn't just settle on a decant. I don't really get funnel cake from this, to me it's more of a french toast with caramel scent. But I still really enjoy it nonetheless. It's a great scent for autumn and to me it's not overpowering. I am a little bummed it's a limited edition, but hopefully it won't be discontinued for a while yet so I can get an extra bottle or so. If you're into foodie scents or just breakfasty scents in general, I don't think you could go wrong with this at all.

    Dia de los Muertos

In the Imp: Floraly sweet, similar to patchouli but not as strong On Me: This was a frimp from a forum member. And my second Weenie! The floral scent has amped up and now I can smell a faint hint of smokiness, almost like incense. At first I didn't think I would enjoy this, but I'm glad I gave it a try. It's more pleasant than I hoped, but I can't see a bottle purchase for me. Since my imp was aged, I'm curious what a fresh batch of this smells like! For reference, I was frimped the 2012 version.

    Wax Cylinders

In the Imp: It smells sweet to me, like honey and beeswax On Me: Not much of a change from what was in the imp. I can barely detect the leather, but it is there in the background. May need some more testing from me, it's not a bad scent but I'm not sure how I feel about the beeswax note. On the bright side, it lasts longer than some other BPALs I've tried which is a plus.

    Harvest Moon 2017

In the Imp: Grapes, leaves, and cloves! On Me: My nose is probably not picking up the multitute of scents listed in the description, so the only other notes I can smell now that it has dried down is a hint of apples and cedar. But it's still an enjoyable scent, very autumn! This is my first Lunacy I've had the pleasure of trying (and it was a frimp from an order on the forums!) and wow it does not disappoint. Not sure quite yet if it's bottle worthy, I'm curious about the newer Harvest Moons and if they smell different to this aged one. But this is a lovely, comforting scent and I will enjoy the imp I have for now.

Mother Shub's Squamous Sea Salt Caramel Cookies

In the Imp: Immediantly get the caramel cookies Love at first sniff! On Me: Faintly detecting the sea salt, but I'm fine with it being mostly caramel cookies on me! This is one of the few BPAL scents I've tried where a little goes a long way; which is great for me because I've only got a half imp. It's super delicious and I'm in love, however I hope finding a bottle of this won't be too difficult or expensive since it's from 2013 and a limited edition. I know I've got a while until they come out, but I would love a re-release for this years Yules! Many many thanks to the forum member who frimped me this, you know my taste so well! This is now my second favorite BPAL scent after Mouse Circus, so if you're super into food scents like I am, I highly recommend this one!

    Absinthe

In the Imp: Peppermint with black licorice On Me: Confusing scent for me. On first whiff, it smelled almost like Fairy Bites from the Labyrinth collection. But as it dries down the peppermint is still there and I can't smell the other notes at all. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers who are comparing this to black licorice. I've also tried Mary Shelley before this one, and that didn't perform well on me at all either. Might have to test this more or maybe absinthe related scents are death notes on me

    Elf

In the Imp: Amber, honey, and berries! On Me: A beautiful floral sweet scent, I can't stop sniffing myself! I was planning on trying this during my next D&D session since I'm a wood elf, but I couldn't help myself. I think I'm going to have to get a bottle of this, it was much more pleasant that I expected it to be. I'm really curious to see how well this plays with the other RPG scents I'm interested in like Rogue. My only complaint is that the scent has faded quite a bit in the 3 hours I put it on, hoping it's just because I didn't put enough on.

    La Petite Mort

In the Imp: Sweet florals On Me: Clean laundry with a touch of florals. It's nice but I prefer other scents to this, so no bottle of this for me. If you didn't like the lemony scent of Follow Me Boy but liked the powdery scent, I'd suggest trying this instead.

    Mary Shelley

In the Imp: It almost smells like maple syrup and florals to me. On Me: I've never had the drink absinthe so I cannot comment on how accurate this scent is to it, but now I'm definitely interested in trying it out sometime. I wore it yesterday and it did not last long at all on me, about 3ish hours? Can't see myself getting a bottle of this, but I do want to try the original Absinthe scent to see if I would prefer it more, or if at least it'll last longer on me.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

In the Imp: Vanilla with a hint of violet On Me: I am not detecting any gardenia at all, just the violet and vanilla. Which isn't bad, vanilla is one of my favorite scents. It's a pretty clean smell, but I can't say I'd wear this a whole lot and I doubt I'd get a bottle of it. If you're a fan of violet and vanilla, this would probably be a good scent for you. Glad to have gotten it as a frimp to try, though!

    Titania

In the Imp: Peachy roses and pear. On Me: More rose is coming through, but also the grape note is appearing. The fruit notes for me are definitely stronger than the rose so I think if you tend to avoid most florals, this should be a good fit for you. Very springtime and summery scent, reminds me of various body sprays I've used as a kid but mixed together. I really enjoy it and might get a bottle of it sometime!

    Fairy Bites

In The Bottle: Strong peppermints. Honest a bit overpowering and I was worried I wouldn't enjoy this. On Me: Thankfully the peppermint subsides after a while and it now smells powdery, closest comparison I've tried would be Follow Me Boy but without the lemony scent and definitely not as strong as that one. Very nice! Not my favorite scent from BPAL so far (that honor would go to Mouse Circus) but it's still a great scent and will probably be my favorite from the Labyrinth line. With the strong peppermint note, I would wear this more around the holidays and wintertime than year round. I wish I was getting the other notes from the description but either my body chemistry or my nose sucks (honestly probably both plus being fairly new to fragrance in general). While it was a bit of a grower for me, I am happy to get the bottle. For one, it's my username on this forum and the site and Labyrinth is my favorite movie, but I enjoy it enough to not just settle for a decant. Curious about layering this with Follow Me Boy and other scents in my collection to see if I'd enjoy it more.

    Hellfire

In the Imp: Smoke and poupourri On Me: Not smelling tobacco at all. Leather is very faint on me and doesn't change too much from what I smelled in the imp. Also doesn't seem to last very long one me. Not bad, but may need to test some more.

    Dorian

In the Imp: Sugared lemons! Or lemon candies. On Me: Tea sweetened with sugar and lemonade! A really sweet scent but subtle, I think I should have put more on. On me, the scent definitely doesn't last long, maybe 4 hours? I can barely smell it on my wrist and all I get from it is sugar with a splash of tea. I like it, but I have to put on more than I usually do with the other BPAL scents I've tried so far. Also not a fan of the short wear time it had on me. Would like a bottle or hair gloss in the future, but I want some other scents more. I think this would work well in the summertime.

    Alice

In the Imp: I just smell the roses and maybe some honey On Me: As it's drying, it's still very floral and honey with no traces of milk to my nose. The carnation is coming through so to me it's mostly a mix of that with rose and honey. Very sweet with a touch of spice, almost like potpourri to me but way nicer. Definitely the better rose scent I've tried. I have mixed feelings about Zombi which was also rose, but Alice for me is better. Maybe it's the mix of honey and canation and less earthy scents? I can see myself buying a bottle of this at a later date and perhaps the hair gloss as well. It almost reminds me of Lord of Misrule by Lush but less strong? Maybe they would pair well together.
