Blood and Judgment So Well Commeddled

It's mostly leather on me! Got some amber and bourbon vanilla, but they faded pretty quickly. At least the leather in here is nice, maybe brown leather is the only kind that works on me. I was really looking forward to the almond, but it didn't appear at all. I might keep this around for layering, but I doubt I'll upgrade.

    Battle Fairy in Training

This doesn't read cotton candy to me, more like minty strawberry icing. The mint started off fairly faint, but it got pretty strong as it dried; not enough to take over any notes but it came close. A little disappointed in the lack of cotton candy, but this is still really nice. I wish the mint was a little less strong so I could get more of the strawberry though. Might upgrade this, can't go wrong with frosting scents!

    Whoop

Plasticky cranberry honeyed amber with a little bit of pine. Not familiar with bayberry so I can't identify it in here. As it fades, the honey gets super strong. It's okay, can't see myself reaching for this often. Mostly because of the pine note. If it was just the rest of the notes I think I'd enjoy this more.

    Diabolical Offspring

Baby powder with no brimstone. Kind of lemony like in Follow Me Boy, that could be what remains of the brimstone I guess. Does not last long, maybe an hour. Not for me even though I don't mind baby powder scents.

    Demon Goggles

This is really weird, it was a boozy tobacco bubblegum when it was wet? As it dried that bubblegum note went away and now it's weed infused tobacco and bourbon. Interesting but I don't think I'll wear this much since I don't like the weed smell.

    Lily Witch

Herbal leathery sweet lime cookies? Lily doesn't get prominent until it starts to fade. Odd, but I don't hate it. Don't like it enough to upgrade, but it's nice and interesting. The leather is a little too strong for my tastes, which is a little weird because in my experience that note tends to fade a lot with aged blends. If you really like herbal notes, lillies, and leather, this is great!

    Resistance

Started off just a waxy bourbon vanilla, but now I'm getting the patchouli, leather, and a little bit of pumpkin. Not terribly boozy on me and no red fruits. I definitely agree that this reads like a warm fall scent. I don't think it's very foodie since the patchouli and leather are so much stronger on me than the pumpkin and the remnants of bourbon vanilla. Not something I'd reach for often, but I like it. I'm glad that while the leather is pretty strong, it blends in well with the other notes. I can be picky with leather blends and I'm glad this one turned out well, might be from aging!

    Happy and Dauntless and Sagacious

I really like this! Creamy goat's milk and red fruits. The milk makes me think of a smoothie or some type of dessert. The raspberry is a lot stronger than the red currant on me; it's very tart. Reminds me of 2020 Aesthetic but without the cherry and powderyness it tends to get on me. But since I have a bottle of that, I'm probably not going to upgrade this decant.

    Closet Raid

Sharp white florals and lavender cologne. Not familiar at all with Chanel No. 5 or Lilac Vegetal so I can't really pick those out in this. No Snake Oil on me, like literally none of the notes! A little disappointed by the complete lack of SO, but I don't hate it. It's just a bit too cologne for my tastes!

    Bits of Birnam Wood

Odd; this smells almost exactly like the red apple lip gloss I loved as a kid. It's definitely kinda shampoo like with a touch of spice, but on me it's mostly glossy apples. Not getting the wood at all. Really liking this, although I was expecting something different and I'm confused on what made it smell like lip gloss on me. No complaints, though!

    Fake Specimen Jar

Lemon pledge for the first ten minutes . Now it's resembling more like the rest of the reviews: lemon-lime sugary fizz candy. Not bad, maybe not upgrade worthy but I am glad that lemon pledge note didn't stay around long! Makes me think of Embalming Fluid a little!

    Bubbles and Unicorns

Grassy currant, very clean and fresh. Kind of like grass stained clothing? So weird, I'm not familiar with dandelion sap so on me it's just reading as grass. It's very spring! Love the name, but probably won't be upgrading this.

    Black Licorice Smut

This goes together so well, starts off as the boozy musky Smut and then eventually the black licorice note gets stronger. Once it's dry, I don't think either note overpowers the other. It's really good, about an average throw and staying power on me. Smut is the first of the notes to fade within a couple hours, so eventually it's just black licorice. Not my all-time favorite from Smut-o-Ween, but a lot nicer than expected!

    Gnome Ruckus

Unbuttered popcorn and Red Vines. Getting a little bit of soda but it doesn't read as cream soda to me, maybe more of Sprite or something? It's pretty good, definitely more popcorn than anything on me. The Red Vines is kinda like cherry cough syrup when wet, but on me the popcorn just almost overtakes that note. Not my favorite popcorn scent, but I like it!

    Mead Moon

This is super fruity and sweet. Lots of honeyed blackberry and lemon on me with some ginger, oranges, and nutmeg. Does not smell boozy to me at all, then again I've never tried mead so I don't know what that smells like. Lovely, might hunt down a bottle of this after all. The honey in here is definitely my favorite of the notes!

    Pumpkin IV (2014)

I haven't had it in years, but somehow this perfume reminds me of that cinnamon swirled bread you find in grocery stores with the raisins inside. Just drizzle it with honey and that's pretty much what this smells like on me. Very very foodie, moreso that I imagined. No oudh on me at all, can't say I miss it in this blend though. Not an upgrade for me, this decant should be more than enough.

    Bluebeard's Wife

Soapy rosewater; finally I have found an aquatic that I really like! Reminds me of taking a luxurious bath with rose petals and a fancy soap, and the description from an above reviewer saying that this is the "crying in the bathtub" fragrance couldn't have been more correct! My only complaint: I wish the sea salt lasted longer. I tested this after getting out of the shower and it compliments the soap I used wonderfully. Beautiful, a potential upgrade for sure.

    Bluebeard

This was heavily vetiver at first, but after around 15 minutes of drying do I finally get the violet and lavender. It's lovely and sweet, started out like a sharp harsh cologne and now it's gorgeous. Definitely a morpher on me. Not sure I'll need a bottle, but pleasantly surprised with how well this turned out, once I got past that vetiver wet stage.

    Rogue

Dirty leather and rosin, the hemp is there but not present much. Can get powdery, but it doesn't overshadow the rest of the notes. It's warm and slightly sweet, but not sweet enough that it goes into gourmand territory. Rogue is my favorite RPG class and this scent matches it really well. Don't think I'll be getting a bottle unless I start to play DND again because I don't wear these type of scents.

    Morocco

Warm musky spices and sandalwood with a touch of carnation! It's so lovely, I wasn't expecting to really like this because I'm not a huge fan of sandalwood. Never tried red sandalwood before though, so maybe this note just works better on me than the regular kind. It gets better with more time on the skin: the spices intensify and it gets a little sweet, like vanilla incense almost. I don't know if I'll be getting a bottle, but I'm for sure going to hang onto these two imps I have!

    Cathedral

Weirdly, when wet it resembled dirt. Now about an hour after drying I'm getting the rotting wood and incense. It's not the worst smelling wood blend I've tried, I can be picky with wood notes, but it's just not heavy enough on the incense for my taste. Does match the ancient church description really well though, so I'll give it that!

    Bon Vivant

Bubbly sweet strawberry champagne. It's definitely stronger on the champagne note than strawberry in my case. It doesn't really smell like Skittles to me like other reviewers have mentioned, it's more of a strawberry Kool-Aid mix? So Kool-Aid champagne, basically!

    The Candy Butcher (2015)

Burnt smelling creamy milk chocolate. It's definitely sweet, but I'm mostly smelling a burnt note. I think it's really just the bittersweetness of the chocolate, but to me it smells like the chocolate was overcooked by The Candy Butcher. Reminds me a little of Burnt Cocoa Bombs actually, but creamier.

    Sweets to the Sweet

Honeyed sugar single note. When it was first applied I definitely noticed a lemon scent, my first thought was sour candy. A little like beeswax as it starts to fade. It stays pretty close to the skin, I'm sure this would work well for layering if you want to sweeten up a perfume. Doubt I'll wear this too much on it's own though.

    Cairo

This is a scent that I wouldn't have bought on my own, but I was gifted a bottle of this. It's fantastic! Very sugary and fruity, like the fruit flavored lollipops (mostly lemon and grape) with touches of incense and a little bit of florals. I don't know the age of this bottle, my guess is new since the sweet notes are a lot stronger than the incense. I think with some aging those notes will mellow down and be more wearable for some people. As it fades, it turns into a powdered sugar scent. Love this, very grateful that I was gifted this because I wouldn't have tried it otherwise!
