Kicking myself for not ordering more than one bottle! This smells like a night at Club Tropicana. This scent is so fun and flirty, definitely a party in the sheets happening! It also smells like insanely good hair, very reminiscent of the banana food hair mask. This perfume would have been AMAZING as a hair gloss and now I'm sad that it's not Throw is medium and it's still quite prominent on my clothes a day later. For a fruity scent I'd say this is a nice gender neutral one, I would love to smell this on a man!

This smells like a sexy Christmas tree. Specifically a sexy Christmas tree that wants to hurt me.

Crazy how much this smells like sweet warm milk. How that smell can be captured and put into a bottle… props to the lab! The overall scent immediately makes me think of cosying up in a blanket with a nice warm bowl of spiced rice pudding. It’s comforting, it’s creamy, it’s warm with spice. It’s lovely!

Absolutely in love with this scent! I’ve never tried the sufganiyot perfumes before (I have even eaten or seen a sufganiyot in my life) I was worried if it would have a deep fried smell to it. Thankfully there’s no trace. It is very sugary and fruity, when freshly applied I do feel it smells a bit ‘vape juice-y’ however it settles into a more gummy sweet kind of scent. There’s a hint of spice that emerges after a few hours. It’s a fun, happy scent. Candy lovers will definitely enjoy this perfume.

All I get is meaty coconut. Smells like coconut soap. There’s some sweetness in the bottle but when applied it disappears and I get no vetiver. Pretty disappointing but oh well!

This is my first time trying Dorian and wow, it’s been an experience! I’m fully on the hype train and it’s fast become one of my favourite perfumes! Firstly, it lasts for days on fabrics. I am still smelling it on my bed sheets and it always throws me off guard when I get a whiff. Its beautiful. Like shockingly beautiful?! 😳 There’s definitely lemon upon first application but that steps to the side and as it quietens down, it mingles gorgeously with the sugared tea. The musks and vanilla are so friggin’ sexy. Like a “your skin but a million times better”. To me, it’s definitely giving “bedroom” scent vibes (wink wink nudge nudge). Like sneaking off from the afternoon tea party to have a lil fun with the waiter who’s been eyeing you up all day haha! The windows in the bedroom are open and the sun is shining. Tousled golden locks and messy white silk sheets. The scent of cakes and tea from the party wafts through under the bedroom door and a summer breeze cools your back as you lazily drift in and out of slumber. It’s so sexy but it’s so comforting. It has a dark and seductive edge but the brightness from lemon keeps it light and energising. It’s refined and classy but there is definitely a “corrupted core” within. Absolutely gorgeous perfume. I need 10000 bottles of this!

It’s heavy and bitter coffee on my skin! I don’t get dark chocolate because the coffee is so bitter itself but there is something vaguely sweet going on and there’s a bit of rum swirling around in there. But it’s mostly coffee. It’s hard to explain but it smells like the comedown of a holiday feast lmao. Like you’ve binged too much on chocolate and alcohol and you’re trying to stay awake through the party but you can’t help dozing off. When you wake up tomorrow, your memories of last night will be foggy and you’ll most definitely be nauseous! It’s pretty rich and indulgent, not sure where I’d wear this but it’s definitely staying in my collection!

In the bottle: fun foam bananas! On the skin: foam bananas taking a nap Ends up smelling like a big snuggly wool blanket. The banana on the bottle vs the skin is very different. On the skin it dries down to a sweet powder that has a hint of fake banana. Like someone’s blended up foam bananas and dusted it over a bed lol.

Interesting weed note! First few minutes after applying to skin, the weed reads kinda fruity but it’s very subtle. There’s a little tanginess hanging around, peeking out through the dark rich brownie note. The brownie here is sweet and squishy. It feels it would make a really thick brownie batter, gloopy and fudgy goodness! It’s actually a very pretty scent!

I’m so intrigued by everyone else saying it smells like straight up leather, I don’t get leather at all! In the bottle it smells like what I can only describe as a garden centre on a hot summers day. The big plastic bags of soil, the humidity from the plants, the smell of the aquarium at the back of the store. Maybe it could be the way the leather note interacts with the balsam is the reason my brain thinks of a garden centre. After about five minutes of applying a sweet beeswax blooms. I’m not the biggest fan of beeswax but this one isn’t as in your face as others I’ve come across. It’s actually quite nice. Over all my experience was not what I expected from the note description. It’s certainly not a bad perfume though but I do think the scent may change drastically if I give it time to age.

Ugh this scent is incredible. I wish this could be made into a GC scent, I’ll need to order back up! It’s exactly how wolf_truffles describes. It is rich and decadent, yet comforting and gives off a very homey vibe. The day I got it in the mail I opened it and I was extremely impressed with the throw it has! I think it’s the strongest throwing oil I’ve come across so far from the lab. And the lasting power is also great. A chocoholics dream!

Fresh strawberries with a green freshness to it. It’s almost got a watery backdrop to it that gives it a more authentic berry scent. Very pretty scent that’s great for summer.
-
Smells like strawberry and cream hard boiled sweets mixed with incense. Definitely a more candy kind of strawberry than a fresh one. Think I just amp spice so when applied it almost goes to a curry smelling kind of place but it dials back pretty quick, thankfully!

I’m so glad I bought this. It’s like I doused myself in lip gloss from the 90’s and I’m wearing my leather jacket and doc martens. Super nostalgic.
-
Buttery salted popcorn with a smidgen of sweetness surrounding it.

I bought this being unfamiliar with literally every single note. I didn’t expect to be punched in the face by all the juicy pink fruits in the world lol. I’m not good at picking out every note in perfumes and to be honest, I like when I can’t as it means it’s well blended and for me, this is well blended but just enough for me to still be able to distinguish between the sweetness of the fresh fruits from the sugared yuzu. It’s got a hint of an aquatic feel to it, which makes the fruits in this bowl feel ripened and ready to eat. It’s also got a clean quality to it (not sure where that’s coming from) at times. It’s a sophisticated and elegant scent while still being able to be cheeky and flirty. I’d say this could most likely be classed as a ‘happy’ scent.

Samhain, at least to me, it a more amped and spiced up version of Sin.

I got this as a frimp in my first ever order and it was the first one out of all the frimps to be used up. I’ve since bought a full bottle of this and I refrain myself from using this every day with little success as it’s such a gorgeous scent. It’s now my favourite in my collection. White Rabbit is a hug in a bottle. It’s a well worn blanket being wrapped over you by a loved one when you’re not well. Here with good intentions. It’s a friend who offers you a cup of tea after you spent an hour crying on their shoulder. If the scent was a person you know that person would be just so genuinely lovely no matter what the world threw at them. If your guardian angel wore perfume. I’m finding it hard to review the scent on a note by note basis like other people have because White Rabbit just doesn’t work that way for me. More to this rabbit than one might expect.

2020 version: Sweet and spicy with a hint of freshness from the fir needles. Not getting any smoke. Quite a comforting smell and not too heavy and overwhelming like some incensey leaning scents can be.

Got this as a frimp along with my Weenies. First of all, I was wanting to try this but put it off as I like more incencey scents. However this brought a wave of nostalgia back as soon as it hit my skin. I don’t know if these were available in the U.S but in the U.K. we had Matey bubble bath. The bottles were shaped like sailors and pirates and they made so much bubbles it was insane! Well this perfume smells like those bubbles made bath time smell! Makes me think of being a kid again getting into my cosy my pyjamas that came straight out of the tumble dryer and getting tucked into bed after a long day of playing hide and seek with my friends. Getting kissed goodnight by my mum and drifting away to the land of nod! Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat is nostalgia in a tiny tube!

To me this smells a dentist office! I don’t picture any of the wonderful descriptive notes listed above, all I can see is dentist tools and their gloved hands about to reach into my mouth! Maybe I’m mistaking the floor polish for the chemicals that dentists use, I don’t know. Creaking Floorboards is certainly nightmare inducing! ETA: after some rest, The black tea note has has really come out of hiding. The polish on the floorboards has warmed up making the overall scent not so dentist smelling aha. Regardless of that initial association, it’s been one of my favourite masculine leaning smells, just one of my favourites in general. I smell like the polished mahogany desk belonging to the well groomed son of a big oil lobbyist. There’s bloody and malevolent undertones weaving throughout the rich and opulent vibes I’m getting. Even though it’s a warm wood, the whole feeling it gives off is so cold and uninviting, hence why I choose to wear this on days where the weather is more gloomy or I’m not wanting social interaction. For those who like expensive smelling masculine scents, give Creaking Floorboards a chance!

First one reviewing this? Damn, okay! Never tried Smut before so I don’t know what it’s meant to smell like on its own. Straight from the bottle: WOAH. Syrupy goodness! On the skin: straight toffee, it’s quite overwhelming. After about ten minutes the Apple starts to come through. The toffee does die down a bit once the apple makes itself known. The warmth of the toffee makes it such a cosy scent but the apple cuts through and freshens it up to make it uplifting. So glad I chose to buy a full bottle of this, sad I only bought one! I’d say if you’re easily overwhelmed by food scents to stay away from Candy Apple Smut. She sure can pack a punch in the first half but damn, she leaves you with good vibes. Edit: after wearing this overnight I think I’ve been able to sniff identify the musk that makes Smut so amazing. I can still smell waves of apple a day later along with the toffee and musk. It’s got an air of sexiness to it while being cosy and still showing little bursts of joy over 24 hours later. I know people say Smut gets better with age so I’m wondering how this would stand up as it’s already blowing me out the water on day one! Shot right up to being possibly my favourite BPAL scent I’ve tried so far.

Got this as a frimp in my last order so thank you BPAL. I would have never ordered this myself as I typically despise anything rose scented! In the imp: smells like putting your nose into the middle of a young rose just after a good old April Shower. I can picture the rain drops that have made a little pool in the center of the petals. Wet on the skin: feels like I’m back in primary school sitting on the field on Sports Day after it just been cut. In our boredom we’d rake up the cut grass with our hands and chuck at it each other (not the best when you had allergies but who cares)! The rained on rose smell did initially disappear on application but she’s now peeking through. Dry: there’s no longer that rained on rose smell. The pool in the petals has dried up and now it smells more like a rose on a hot and humid day but there’s still a lovely freshness that rounds out the scent. Its so strange but the smell reminds me when my mum would take me to witchy shops. It reminds me of crystals and fairy statues. The Rose, to me, smells like a curious child exploring down the bottom of a rose garden stepping gleefully into fairy circles. This is a scent I would never go for due my aversion for rose everything but I’m so glad this was included as a freebie in my order as is brought back a lot of lovely memories for me.

In the bottle: smells like walking past a grass garden that’s been freshly cut and the flowers have just been trimmed. Wet on the skin: the same but more amplified and with a more medicinal smell. Like there’s something almost menthol-y lingering in the background. The trimmed flowers were roses. Dry: roses and a slight tinge of musk. Overall, from the description I expected this to be a lot more of a woodsy and warm scent than a floral and green scent. I think ageing this will help amp up the amber and smoke so I’ll keep it around for a while, if not, I think we’ll have to part ways.

Smells like dried blood on me. Get faint scent of the metal axe coming through but it only heightens that metallic blood smell to me. There’s quite an animalistic undertone to Berzerker. It’s a raw, primal scent that I enjoy much more on my boyfriend than on me. I even tried pairing it with another scent to tone down the blood smell and it just will not let up! Guess that’s the way my skin chemistry works with this particular note 🤷♀️ Still, it’s not an unpleasant scent, it’s just not one that I would find myself reaching for often. I see this being much more suited on men’s skin.
