Single note Mango It has a lovely sweet mango + floral scent to it. From the bottle: Oh, such a delicious, sweet mango, almost like mango candy or syrup. I perceive it as really juicy and ripe mango, not anything overly harsh or "man-made." Wet on skin: It's still a powerful sweet, but it's mellowed a little. This reminds me of the mango cheesecake I baked a few days ago. Dry on skin: A smidgeon of green is now detectable in the backdrop. It's still rather sweet, but it's become more balanced. It's also flowery in certain ways. Overall, the fragrance stays for a long time and is quite rich for a single note, more complex than some of my two-note perfumes. The wear duration is lengthy, yet the mango is not overbearing.

In the imp: fresh-cut stem and pink rose with some fruity undertone. Wet: The stem scent is very strong with all the roses but not strong as the rose there Dry: Stem has taken a back seat and the roses themselves start to be more layered in scent. Rose on top of rose, as the description says. This reminds me of rose sweets. The grass is obviously poking out of here, and it smells more like rose stems than grass. Overall, I don't believe the rose is overpowering or overbearing in this combination, but rather really enjoyable. To me, this smells more like a summer day perfume than Zombi, which I reach for all year

(warning, I am new to perfumes and haven't done a review but I give my thoughts for this perfume ) At first, I could smell faint florals and white musk & ambrette seed acted almost like a pretty scent of soil in spring. It's hopeful winter, close to spring with a bit of light already but the air is cool. After wearing for an hour I started to get the lilac and wisteria more and the ambrette moved to be a background scent. Very pretty, cool floral scent. The bottle's artwork really did capture the "cool" floral feeling of it.

Hey! as you saw in the title I have been trying to find a fitting scent from BPAL for a few weeks now but I just don't find anything fitting. as an example, people saying snake oil is a good place to start from but I don't like spice smell too much. Often I avoid anything too floral so I just feel like my options for earthy and not too much on your face smell are not there. Any recommendations for such?

both patchouli + musk are something I like a fair bit. herbal notes are what I enjoy as well, not that much on fruits but I am honestly open to ideas and trying around to find something I like even on floral sidelong as it's not too strong. The biggest nono to me honestly is spicy smells. I have been looking a lot of the musk scents and they seem to have a lot of range even if it does raise question about all different types of musk.
