It was so nasty and I think patouli laden that I deliberately sampled it two hours before my bath so I could (gratefully) wash it off.

This smells decidedly peculiar in the bottle. There is some element I'm not liking, but on the skin whatever it is blends into the coconut mellowing a little, making something fairly tasty, but not quite so food smelling as to be distracting. I'll need to experiment with this one again later, but I think I may like it, despite the scent that faintly clashes. Or maybe not. The odd element never quite blends right, and my response to it shifts back and forth, from intrigued to smothered. Eventually it fades to just sandlewood.

It's okay, but it fades fast. Meh.

Oddly floral. A muskier version of embalming fluid, I think. I really like this one. Pleasantly restful after a series of ones I needed to bathe after applying because they stunk too much. It does smell like aftershave and embalming fluid, which for me is a plus. Sexy in a geeky way. It is one of my all time favorites.

Smells vaguely like someone threw up egg nog and sugar plums. It doesn't remind me so much of lust incense, as morning after a really wild party. I am probably going to have to wash this one off too.

Eeeww! It smells like medicinal herbs and vetiver. This stuff is super strong too. Maybe a hint of mint and leather, though the leather might be my watch. No. Just no.
-
Smells like candy, but not quite enough like to be confusing. I am guessing there's dragon's blood in there. Either way, I'm liking it, even if it is a floral, since the floralness is subsumed and smoothed.

Smells, not surprisingly, of cucumber. Whether this appeals to you or not is likely a matter of taste. It is much stronger than one would expect.

It's a floral. No surprise there. It's actually a very cool floral. The sort of floral I'd wear if I wore florals. It's rich and sort of purple smelling, deeper than violet and more shadowy. Really, the company description is accurate, though not informative.
-
Not very descriptive, is it? I don't mind if they want to get poetic, but I'd really like an ingredient list. It is floral, which I expected. It is a nice floral, and certainly more pleasing than Morgause. A descent floral, but if one wanted that sort of thing, I'd suggest Prague or Muse.

Smells mostly of rose. Slightly more complex, but not particularly interesting. Bland in a girlie sort of way.

WTF? It's a floral A really pleasant floral, that I actually like, but a floral. I smell no leather, no smoke. It soon becomes cloying and fruity on my skin.

Opium-laced dreams of flame, plunder, power and fury: dragon’s blood resin, poppy, amber and ylang ylang. Dragon's Reverie: Almost as good as dragon’s musk, but doesn't wear quite as well. I'd likely buy this, as it is quite good, though not quite as exactly right as Dragon's musk.

Delicious, perfect. Everything I was hoping for. A clear winner., and the first I tried. Darkly sexy.

Leather and spicy fruit. Strange. Alas it fades quickly, so it's hard to get a good feel for it. It’s too delicate and faintly off. The wine is blending badly with the other elements..

I love this one even if it is a bit floral. It's a lot like Embalming fluid only a touch stronger and deeper. A definite winner.

Smells like cookies in the bottle. A little too busy on first application. Not unpleasant, but not interesting either.

Iago is really scary on me. I think my scent register is not quite deep enough. It smells strongly of playdough and cheap cologne. It is a creepy disturbing scent that does not wear off at work, I might add. I felt like I smelled like a pedophile. After eight hours or so, the playdough wears off, leaving you with the tired scent of the creepy older guy trying to pick up teenagers half his age, but not really believing he'll catch any. Eeew!

Dark musk and black amber with frankincense, red sandalwood, neroli and bergamot. It's nice enough, if you like middle eastern smelling stuff, which I do when it's not too heavy. This is not too heavy, and is deeper in effect than I had expected, which is actually in it's favor. This reminds me a little of Snake Oil, but in a good way.

This is a lighter scent cousin to Coyote, softer and fairly androgynous. I really like it and it has good staying power.

An earthy yet buoyant scent: pine, eucalyptus and orange. This was a freebie and not something I would have picked from the description. It is better than I would have imagined, but it still smells like cough drops at Christmas. Not OMG awful, being lighter and gentler than I'd imagined, but nothing I'm likely to wear.

The ginger and pepper are dominant on first application. It is quite sweet. The thing it most reminds me of is embalming fluid, but I like Embalming Fluid by BPAL very much. This is slightly more femme, but smells so good I don't mind. Yum. It is smelling like tea party next to line dried laundry in early spring. Unfortunately the laundry scent becomes dominant over time, which is less interesting than the initial scent. Still pleasing, but i think I'd like more tea.
-
It does indeed smell like a children's tea party. I am not that partial to Earl Grey and it's strongly floral. It is way too femme for me, but not unpleasing if you like that sort of thing, but definitely not me.

Yes, I took a chance on a full bottle with patchouli in it. I was tempted by War too. I figured this might be okay as there was so much else in it and how could I really turn down a scent named for Crowley the demon from _Good Omens_? So how does it smell? Intriguing in the bottle and pleasantly complex. Initial application puts the leather, oakmoss, and vanilla on top. The lilac and the lemon give it a little sting, but it's neither fruity nor floral, though they are present, they come off as intriguing rather than prissy. The patchouli isn't a problem at all, being a good support to the musk without standing out enough to make me notice it unless I'm paying attention. It is definitely masculine, with a dangerous edge to it. I am finding this one painfully sexy too, though the scent ghost suggests someone who's personality you want to explore thoroughly before taking him home, I think the exploration would be fun. OMG!! This is yummy.

Sweetly enticing in the bottle, though with an odd note that I'm guessing is the raincoat. I admit the description worried me as I already smell of mold thanks to the decrepit dump I live in, but this was not an issue. This is a pleasantly masculine scent on the skin, extremely sweet. It smells vaguely like Dorian, but only vaguely. I do like it, perhaps because of it's peculiarities.
