  1. Mossmallow

    Cleaning House

Wet, I get nothing but sugary lime (reminds me of those candies that are shaped like lime wedges and coated in sugar). As it dries the frankincense and angelica emerge, although lime is still the star of the show. Extremely bright, almost sharp, and very clean and energizing. I'm not familiar with palmarosa, so I can't really speak to how prominent it is, and I can't distinguish the lemongrass note (although that could be due to my inexperience with fragrances). This oil is significantly less sweet than Bounce, which I received in the same order. I agree with Ythik that it's not really warm, which is really interesting, and it does have an intriguing depth. I bought this to wear, rather than for rituals, but I don't see myself ever wearing it out - maybe at home for a day of spring cleaning? - but I do enjoy it and will try to find another way to use it.

    Bounce

Wet, this smells exactly like sweetarts/sweet-tarts to me (particularly the orange ones, which they don't make anymore). As it dries the orange emerges more and the sweetness dies down a little, but it still smells sweetart-y. Very bright, fun, and cheerful - a bit too sweet for regular wear for me, but I do really enjoy it! This is definitely one of the sweetest and least-floral orange blossom scents I've tried, so I'd recommend it to someone who is usually hesitant about it or has found other perfumes containing it not to their liking.
