Soooo boozy. I'm getting a little bit of a cough syrup vibe as well. Or like dry, red wine goo. Super strong too. What am I smelling? Musk? And chocolate? I think my nose is getting more confused by the minute. Weirdly, I like it.

I feel like if you put this beside Boo! and Aoede I'd have a hard time telling the three apart from each other! A milky vanilla. If I breathe very deeply I can smell a bit of caramel. But mostly a milky cloud like the other two mentioned. No complaints here! Whatever this note is- it's an absolute favorite of mine.

I really adore this! I could smell it before I even took off the bubble wrap. The patchouli is the leading note, the mallow flower blooming around it lightly with the vanilla and cream taking away some of earthy harshness and adding delicious sweetness. I would not consider this a gluttonous gourmand at all although the milky vanilla is present. If you love patchouli, I'd recommend this! I could wear this daily. Not getting a popcorn butter note and patch is definitely front and center for me.

I think I like this blend more than the original long and sad tale! Sweet pea comes and goes but mixes deliciously with the pumpkin spice. It's a bit gourmand although the sweet pea doesn't allow it to go all the way there. Light on the amber and sandalwood. I really never thought spiced sweet pea could be this good but Beth is a genius!

I thought the maple syrup note was honey but either way, I looooove it. Cinnamon is strongest the first 5-10 minutes and then it turns into a chai spice cupcake with a warm, rich background that lasts and lasts. Cinnamon then mosty disappears. Sweet, spiced buttercream frosting.

This is officially the only snake oil blend I can wear that doesn't go powdery on me. Extremely gourmand chocolate with some headshop patchouli and spices. Intoxicating! A little goes a long way. I will search for more of this in the future!

I smell the elemi and eucalyptus leaf with a swirl of somewhat harsh lemon peel. Fresh and cold and clean. Not getting much lavender! I could see this going a little lemon cleaner on some folks

Fresh lilies and cypress trees! The pine comes and goes in a very interesting, phantom way. I think the Dorian and lavender add a sort of sorrowful sweetness in the background, although difficult to pick them out individually. Not getting much rose. It's a memory of a walk more than the walk itself. A sweet, sad memory! I like this one and florals are not usually my thing -
Smells like a strong earl grey tea. Like burying your face in the dried tea leaves. Orchid is light but present. Does have a lightness to it. A touch of sweetness. I find this to be borderline soapy! But most florals do that to me, sadly. edit: not soapy! The scent next to it was extremely soapy. Actually quite pleasant and light/floral

Somehow the hazelnut, coconut and sandalwood are turning into a chocolate mousse! A chocolate mousse with maybe some extra coconut shavings on top. This doesn't smell like any of the lab's chocolate notes, though. It is its own gourmand smell. Not getting any lavender. Wear/throw is a bit light. I think I will wear it for a few days to decide if I'm upgrading to a bottle!

Gummy bears and sprinkles mostly but some frosting too on the skin. It's funny because I'm not sure sprinkles have scent that I can remember but I can still identify the smell of them in this? It's youthful, I think a 13 year old could wear this and would love it. Or those 13 at heart! Gummy bears add an extremely sweet note with a bit of sour but it's pleasant; isn't scream in your face candy sweet. A happy scent!

Would it be easier to mention what I am getting or what I'm not getting? I think I'm actually getting every single note if I look for it. Chocolate chip cookies and strawberry are probably what I get the least of. If I was to summarize: milky dessert, lavender blue in color. Puppies in the bottle only. I like this one! I love milky liliths scents (aoede, melete, mneme) although this one is sweeter and has more of a pastry quality. Like a purple mille-feuille with a carnation on top. I could sniff this all day long!

2021 version I've never smelled any previous versions. Something in here smells a bit like vicks vapor rub. A mulled wine and apple is just behind that. Is the pine acting like vicks? Unfortunately this one gives me a headache!

Sweet lemon bars! A waft of buttery, sweet pumpkin. This is not a pumpkin spice scent and is in no way spicy. Similar pumpkin to Jack. Really, really delicious. Would be great for layering!

Yes! This is good. Real good. The red musk is about as smutty as it gets (besides Smut maybe). Pumpkin spices are in the background as sort of an afterthought. Pumpkin pulp is buttery and rich. Oddly doesn't go into Halloween territory. Buttery, vaguely spicy red musk. No idea what Storyville smells like but this is basically what I would expect..

Bell pepper! I mean, dead leaves! Immediately bell pepper on my skin but that goes away quickly and smells like leaves after a minute or two. Almost no honey. Globs of vanilla butter but it's not a gourmand vanilla, just smells like skin. This is really interesting! Basically as if I rubbed dead leaves on myself? While wearing a creamy vanilla body lotion? I kinda like this..

Earthy, a bit smokey with a touch of honey. It smells like a really attractive and androgynous person in a leather jacket smoking cigarettes on a cold, fall night. There isn't a whole lot to unpack here! Honey isn't really sweet, just there to bring out the other notes without making them too harsh. Can't stop sniffing this one. edit: honey softens the notes a bit over time and takes away some of the smoke

Dark and mysterious! Smells like juicy sour red berries, plum and rose incense. There's something rosey in this although no rose notes are listed. Not getting any honey or vanilla. Time to bust out the darkest red lipstick you own!

No fruits for me! Amber, patchouli and cypress all the way. Woods go pencil shavings on me and this is just on the borderline of that- but the amber stops it. I haven't smelled the cypress note before but I believe it's at the forefront. This really reminds me of my grandpa (don't worry- he smelled nice!). The visual I'm getting is a walk through a very dry wooded area in late fall. The leaves have nearly all fallen but it's a strangely warm day (amber). Some browned fallen pine needles mixed in. Very November! Sad and happy blended into one.

This peach note is like a whiter peach. It's not juicy or tangy- a certain kind of peach taste that is hard to describe. This is very perfumy. Definitely getting the Lana Del Rey sweater vibes but she's enjoying some cold peaches on her photoshoot break. In the bottle I can smell the detergent scent people are mentiong here but it morphs into perfumy perfume on the skin. Smells like someone rich! In an alternate reality where the apple store was a peach store she would be the ceo. I think there's some earl grey in the waaaay background making it seem even more rich. Fun! I'd wear this if I ever wanted to feel powerful or pretend I went to space. -
I already own several different "pumpkin spice latte" scents from the lab and it always amazes me how different they all are. This one has a lot of spice! Actually not as sweet as I was assuming it would be. The pumpkin is a bit buttery. Vanilla is very tame. Not overly sweet! Layering could take it into either very gourmand territory (vanilla etc) or somewhere deeper and darker if one wished!

Pretty! All the notes twirling together in the spring sunshine. Cardamom is first; then the lavender and vanilla blend together and dance with the cardamom. Sweet but not gourmand. This is the first time trying the lavender note and I am surprised at its softness. Soft, but definitely present. I think this would be an easy choice for daily wear. Really beautiful! edit: after wearing it a full day I have to say it reminds me a lot of Dorian! A bit of a strong throw and the vanilla/lavender/lemon scent is very similar. Just a feminine version with cardamom thrown in! Think I need another bottle..

I'm getting all the notes and lots of stick! A delicious chai flavored stick. Honey is subtle, marshmallow is definitely present. This reminds of misk u in the way that it is a creamy sweet drink scent but has an interesting note that gets louder as you wear it (dusty wood). The stick adds an earthy quality- as if this scent had a wee touch of patchouli. Nice! Good for layering I imagine

Black pepper and ginger all the way! Cloves in the background sexing it up. Definitely "masculine" and perfectly weird. I love this. I get no coffee or cream, maybe a little tiny bit of cinnamon. It's just hot, hot spicy and strangely sexy.
