Creature from the Black Lagoon vibes. This scent is wonderfully androgynous. Just gonna sink into the inky sweet depths of the sticky gummy oily opoponax and black musk. A bit sweet, with twirly bits of smokey opium poppy swirling about. The khus smells of the dark vegetation at the bottom of the lagoon where the creature rests. Just a creature floating in my lagoon enjoying the day carefree. I enjoy this even more than Event Horizon.

I've worn this twice and feel like I could possibly give a review now. This scent is a bit of a journey and has taken some time to really settle. The first time I wore it, it was very faint (shipping shock). And it has gotten stronger as it has rested *YAY* The white sandalwood starts out giving it the sharpness, and dryness that I often get from white sandalwood. The brittleness of a bone white sky. The smell of sea but without the aquatic. A wash of green from the vetiver root? But this quickly fades into this gorgeous soft ambergris/orris that is like a fluffy cloud. And the cardamom/pepper/sliiiight hint of cedar flits into the clouds like the flock of crows. When it dries down I am left with a cardamom cloud. I am surprised how long the cardamom is lasting with this and quite happy. The light and the dark intertwined.

I recently tried Like a Girl and it's a very pretty skin musk! I smelled it on my sweatshirt sleeve yesterday and was like "omg I smell so gooooood" and then I remembered the last time I wore that I used Like a Girl on that arm lol. It has sandalwood but it's Mysore sandalwood which works better for me than a lot of other sandalwood notes. It's creamier? I also have Woman Putting on her Stocking which has a skin musk note but I haven't tried it yet...will let you know. Neutral is just skin musk. And then also I think Glowing Vulva has a skin musk thing going on but it's not a listed note, but the vibe of that perfume is *skin musk*. As always YMMV.

This. This still makes me so sad. I don't usually enjoy coconut but that single imp...why? did. it. have. to. be. so. good. I may try Snakes in the Coconut Cake at some point, but I often don't like SO variants. I'm weird. I LOVE Snake oil but as soon as it's combined with something it's too sweet or too much. What was in that imp that we can't just have it in full size?!? I will continue to be devastated that I can't get a bottle of that coconut. With that lavender. GAWD. It was SO GOOD. -

Can anyone tell me if the coconut in the free Black Friday imp last year Lavender Coconut Cream Pie is the same as Cat Sleeping on an Armchair? I know this is silly, but the free imp had a different coconut than the bottle and I REALLY NEED that coconut smell. Please. Thank you. -
Melon Cream Cake....veeeery nice cake note. The Pink Moon 2024 is so pretty, but it's a Nesquik strawberry scent which you might not like. It's super sweet and maybe a tad artificial strawberry candy smell but I like it. The Sugar Crystals and Mandarin is a simple citrus. I like it a lot but it's not complex at all.

This smells like honeyed Heartshow. Whoa. A blast of cherried red musk. The goat's milk and honey give it a creamy funk. Mmmmmmm. This is stronk.

Oh sweet mallow woods. Beautiful. This scent is soft and smooth. The coffee isn't overwhelming. It's like eating S'mores while someone drinks a coffee nearby. There is fresh firewood nearby. A comforting scent. It smells like it might have a bite, but like the gentle Atlas moth it's mostly an illusion. A warm ruddy brown scent.

This smells of walking through mud and tall reed grasses. The grasses are fragrant almost with a hint of lemongrass. The myrhh starts to take over and it's like sinking into the mud. I like this part. Just sink into the mud for a bit.

This smells like pee. I *think* it's the narcissus. It smells like a dark dank dirty bathroom. Not for meeeeeeee.

Pink Moon: Wild Strawberries and Patchouli

I kept thinking that Pink Moon 2024 reminds me of Pretty in Pink when I smelled it. Then I smelled this and it reminded me of The Heathers. No candy strawberry here, just dirty STRONKberry. I do think there could a be a little Miss Dior Cherie moment if you layered this with that sugared mandarin. I find that a tiny bit of this lasts forever. -
Strawberry with a hint of tartness...a tiny hint of cherry jolly-rancher. I don't get much creaminess from this but it's more there on the dry down. I get a lot of compliments on this one. It's pretty and pink and quite likable.

If you were worried about any rind bitterness, you won't find it here! This is wonderful sweet mandarin, like sugar sprinkled orange slices. Perfect for layering. Lovely. Uncomplicated. Summer. -
Calm for a weary mind. A relaxing scent for slumber. The hops give a herbal feeling to the scent. And the lavender reminds me of To A Wreath of Snow...it's like a wreath without the snow. I enjoy the way this way floats out around me because it's perfect for sleep.

The tea party in the garden took a wild turn. And here they are naked and smelling like sweet honey musk on a sunny afternoon. I do think the ambrette seed goes a bit powdery but it just adds to the softness of this scent. It is a very comforting golden afternoon scent.

Faint, almost non existent. Smells nothing like the hair gloss. I wouldn't even know this was the same scent, but seeing as it's so faint it's super hard to even tell what it smells like. It's almost like something went bad. Sad about this one. I wonder if there are multiple mixes of this because the one I got is similar to the reviews of it being faint and very odd. Kind of wish they'd revisit this one and try to fix it. Edit: I swear there is no ginger or resins in this. I've sat here and slathered some more on. Let it dry. Nothing but oudy amber. It's not dirty diaper, but has a soggy diaper vibe to it.

This is a waft-y fragrance for me. It's just tendrils of pink root beer around me. It does threaten to go baby powder on me but then wafts out a lil sassyfras (although that MUST be the teak lol) and doesn't. This is mail freasssssh so maybe that is why. I can't stop smelling it. I too am in awe of this Glowing V.

Could anyone compare Tongue Wall and Just Before Penetration for me? Anyone tried them both? How creamy is Just Before? Is Tongue Wall brighter guava? Which is more guava forward? I want one of them...but which should I choose? -
This sounds like a loud mean scent. So I was surprised to find it's balanced and calm. Maybe the snow soothes out the gruesomeness but I do think it's pretending to be scarier than it is. This smells like walking through a quiet forest covered in snow. There is a soft waft of smokiness, like the smell of a distant fire. It smells like a holiday scent without veering into candle territory. Nice!

Is it just me or is the hair gloss version sweeter? I adore my snake oil perfume, but I'm not totally sure how I feel about this. It lasts a long time and smells like snake oil, but there is *something* ever so slightly different that I don't love it as much...but I do still really like it. Oh and I almost forgot it was quite strong in my hair, just one squirt out of a tester was plenty! It made my hair shiny on the ends so that was nice. I have fine long hair with sensitive scalp and there was no irritation or greasiness.

Fresh first impressions: Well, this isn't a foggy grey scent if that's what you are looking for...not yet anyways. I think aging will be interesting. Wet this is all tabac flower and it's gorgeous. Then as it begins drying I get the fougere. I think the fougere is what is actually giving it the floral quality though. I'm not sure what is in the fougere but it smells like a very traditional fougere imho and it's quite green and spring-like. The tabac flower grounds it and flits around the edges. As it dries down I get some tea (oh and the grey amber begins melding with the tabac flower FINALLY), but it is very "Aziraphale drinks tea surrounded by houseplants in Springtime in London with sun streaming in the windows" which feels like the opposite of the description.

I was worried I might be one of those people for whom milk notes go wrong. And yep, I am one of those people. It smells like sour stinky feet with a light dusting of gingerbread. I felt like I was in a thick fog of it too.

I want to love this. I've tried to love it. But, it turns all to jammy currants on me which wouldn't be horrible at all except the vanilla cake goes plastic on me. This one is just not meant to be for me.

This is absolutely gorgeous wet. When it dries I lose the lavender and it becomes mostly coconut cream pie. Within about 30 minutes it's gone. My skin ate my lavender coconut cream pie up 😭 If you are luckier than me and it sticks around you are in for a beautiful treat.
