All I get is grape! Not even a nice grape, but a grape medicine type of smell. Only BPAL I've had to wash off. (Grape is not even listed as a note! Bah.) Er... so. don't think I'll buy a bottle of this.

AG was really very herbal on me. I like herbs, but this was almost bitter, and it kinda turned me off a little. But drying down, she revealed the lightest trace of florals and something else that I can't seem to describe. (Maybe the musks?) It certainly is pretty witchy-smelling. Which is good. Suffice to say that Allison Gross is a very unique blend, one that is definately growing on me.

It smells lovely on fabric and in the bottle. Smooth and light and spicy and deep! Yum. However, on my skin it turns into a bitterly orange bubblegum. (Most decidedly NOT a scent I want on me!) Luckily, it works beautifully on my mom and she wants the bottle.

Mmmm. Versailles is sparkling and silky, but it has a lovely deepness to it as well. I thought it'd be rather too sweet (not a big fruit fan in general) but I was very much pleasantly surprised. It's plush and warm and luxurious, iced with the smalled breath of cooler airiness. In short, it reminds me perfectly of a French courtier. It was a freebie in my last order and it turned out to be my favorite. I definately need a big bottle of this beauty.

Smoky sweet and deeply glamorous! This is my first BPAL and I'm hooked! In the bottle it smells darker and deeper, but on my skin it lightened up with some creamy vanilla. It's a bit storng on thee patchouli, still. Hopefully aging will solve that, though.
