Something smells a bit off and plasticky... perhaps the hazelnut. But the coconut and iris and sweet and creamy and dreamy. Such a pity.

ahhhhhhhhh... love at first sniff! it IS sweet, but not unbearably so. there's a but of delicious spiciness which tempers it. it's not foody, but it's fruity. it's sweet, but it's not candy. it is simply scrumptious! if this were a color, it'd be a deep, bright, sparkling red-purple.

Delicious! This smells very clean and fresh on me, and it makes me happy just to sniff it. Which is what perfume should do. I get mostly cucumber, lime and grass.

I actually like this, and will treasure my imp It smells delicate, sweet and poignant. Clean, like you've been crying. This scent requires a specific mood but is perfect when the time comes around.

mmmmmmmmmmm! I knew I would love this. Smoky and musky, but creamy and sweet. Mostly citrus and musk on me.
-
I really like this! Sweet, woody apples. Green apples, too, not super-sweet red ones. But it fades so quickly that I doubt its a bottle investment. Pity.

I bought a bottle unsniffed. I knew it would work, and it did. Sweet, silky vanilla. It DOES smell 'older' but not 'old', if that makes sense. It's a more refined perfume, something I like to wear to class or meetings or something of that sort. But I still feel very girly wearing it. It smells, obviously, mostly of vanilla, but the linen gives it a clean finish. No clue what kind of flowers are in there. (side note: my boyfriend thinks I smell like cookie dough every time I wear this.)

started off as a cavity-inducing sticky bubblegum. dried off as a slightly more pleasant cherry bubblegum. I smell the cinnamon later on.... it reminds me of that nasty cinnamon toothpaste. I kinda want to wash my wrist now. Just not my thing. goodbye, Jailbait.

Pumpkin with benzoin, bourbon vanilla, lemon peel, neroli, blood orange, and red ginger. Mmmm. I ordered this on a whim, and I am very grateful for doing so. Delicious, smooth, sexy, spicy and sweet. And I still smell the hint of pumpkin goodness in the background. This is becoming a favorite for fall.

Love at first sniff. It's becoming my daily, most reached-for scent. It's soft, chilly, gentle, perfect to wear to class an unique enough to keep me interested. It makes me happy. yay BPAL, for making another winner!

I smell like toilet cleaner. I hate life. I'm keeping, though, in the hopes that aging will cure some of the citrus sharpness.

I have to agree - a lovely scent! I love wearing pumpkin / fall smells, but I usually end up smelling like a candle store. Samhain's hint of chill really does do wonders to temper the foodyness. Absolutely gorgeous!

"Hey... so, why do you smell like sweet play-doh?" Le sigh. Will try again, I am determined to like this one.

ooooer... Lilac and white musk are favorites too! / add Whitechapel to wishlist

the ultimate _________: coconut. One's that's tropical and sweet and lovely and deep and perfect and not Black Pearl. lemon. There's so much lemon in the GC that I'm having trouble sorting through it. Preferably aomething with a little floral hint to it. sugared fig. Pleeeeease! See? I'm not that hard to please!

I amp the incense, so I get the sweetness of the fruits / florals tempered by the dusty dry smokiness of the incense! <3 I wish I know what these incense notes are, though. They make me happy, and are perfect with the florals! Big bottle on the way.

Mostly melon. Vaguely pretty and airy, and I agree - rather generic perfumey. Good, but just not for me.

The first time I wore this, my brother said... "Hey... you smell like grandma's!" o.O; It does smell dry and sweet.. so I guess I can see where that comes from. Unfortunately.

I get pure sicky-sweet maple syrup. I smell like a stack of pancakes, with no books or wood or even coffee in sight. I'm a bit disappointed, but c'est la vie.

Mrf. Rose! Well, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. I like rose scents too, a lot. I just wish there was a bit more grass. In the bottle and wet, this scent is kinda fruity and sweet and overwhelming. But it drys down to a calmer, gentler rose, and I like it very much.

This cocoa essential oil is absooooooluuuuuutely gorgeous. And dark. I have to shake the bottle before applying it, and if I don't rub it in really well I can see a spot! It is, obviously, a chocolate covered snake oil. One of my coworkers walked up to me and asked if I was wearing baby powder. Or White Diamonds. Because I smelled, apparently, like a baby. Hmm. I think her nose is wonky though. I hope I still like it, at any rate.

I LOVE Yggdrasil! I am so happy I swapped for this. Why? I have been looking for the perfect woodsy scent for a while. I shy away from masculine scents, so I've been picky. But Yggdrasil is light and woody, laced with a top note of sweet minty menthol goodness. I heart wearing this in the summer, because it reminds me of bygone, cooler weather without being icy or ozoney.

It smells mostly juniper, then pine to me - not that much musk. It's a bit too masculine for lil ole girly me. It's still a pretty fresh and clean scent, though. I like wearing it at night to sleep - I find piney scents very comforting. I'll use up my imp for this purpose, but I rather doubt I'll invest in more of it.

Mrf. Lavender! I couldn't possibly name any of the other notes. It smells more herbal than floral to me, but it's not too bitter. Certainly not a scent I'd care to wear in the daytime, but it is quite comforting when trying to slip off to sleep! I rub a little bit on my palms and curl up in bed, sniffing them :] It works (and works well), but I'm kinda addicted now. I can't go to sleep unless I'm smelling something now, hehe.

Carnation, posies, and white amber with a hint of inky treacle, sandy cider, and wooly wine. Queen Alice is a very beautiful and interesting scent, but kinda difficult to describe. Dry, I get a floral (erm, posy, maybe?) and cider, with underlying bloom of boozy-wine-goodness and a breath of the white amber. It makes me smile. Soft and sweet enough for daily use yet spicey and heady enough to be interesting. Would love to have a bottle! (Luckily I have TWO imps to get me by until then!)
