Ephemeral ghostly lavender grounded in a slightly salty musk, sprinkled with beautiful white tobacco flower petals, with the smallest touch of warm, non-indolic oud to keep things complex and inviting. I agree that i sometimes get a little vanilla, perhaps also maybe a teensy bit of the bpal snow or slush notes? i’m getting like… “cold water/air” sometimes, which i also get when i smell true slush or ice notes from the lab. This perfume is definitely ethereal, glimmering, a bit sheer, definitely cold or icy. A new favourite -definite backup bottles in my future. rating: 10/10. unique, compelling, but also comforting. Sillage: Medium. My friends could smell me from a few feet away but definitely noticed it more when they got closer (according to them) Lasted: 10 hours. it’s still on my sheets too!

This luper order has been my most successful order so far. Also- Ooh wow I’m the first review!!! ok so i really love this. Definitely strong on the woody patchouli. The vanilla amber and honey are missing for me until about the 2 hour mark, up until which the general vibes was an expensive smelling patchouli. but then!!!! The amber and vanilla slink in slowly. They’re subtle now but i’m assuming that the vanilla amber and honey will, when given time to blossom, quit being so damn shy! Lasts: 8 ish hours Overall rating: 7/10 at the moment but subject to improvement or devastation. Sillage: strong actually- i had my eye doctor ask what i was wearing!

Mmmmmmmm Creamy sexy vanilla with a woody base to keep it from landing too much in icecreamsville. It’s definitely sweet but the wood grounds it perfectly- this IS “hoard-worthy obsession-level my-heart-only beats-for-Thee” kind of perfume. It smells expensive, it’s sexy and comforting, and my god it LASTS. I put some on around 10 PM last night and its still here well over 14 hours later. I smell incredible.

This is really really lovely. It’s definitely A sheer purple and black perfume- perhaps a dash of red like a bruise. The lavender is present but very docile on me. She bats her eyelashes coyly and slinks around her partners- an ephemeral glimmering opium tar, the strong sensual blood musk, patchouli that may only be described as smelling “expensive” and the black orchid- who lends a much needed floral lilt on the trail end of things. These 5 are all key players in bed. I want to Do me. I’d say I’m speechless, but clearly I’m not as I’ve waxed poetic here. This is an almost penitent sexy. Something reserved and very designer- refined, but also so sexy and vampish. Heart eyes, Swoon, Sigh.

“Oh did you want a beautiful gentle rose and sandalwood? You wanted to smell delicate and pretty? Well you’re getting wood polish and sickening rose scented bathroom freshener” -my skin, about 15 minutes into wearing this. I had to scrub it The opening was quite pretty however, and it smells lovely on my mom so its a skin chem issue.

My skin amps honey, and honey smells like beeswax, and beeswax smells like my beloved light of mens life. This is like a more floral version of it. unfortunately after about 20 minutes its just sickly sweet on my skin

Sweet gentle incense, clean laundry, and vetiver. it smells like my older sisters house which makes lots of sense as she’s a clean freak with about a thousand wood-adjacent candles. I do find it a bit cocoa-ish after it’s dried down. I like it but not enough for a full bottle.

Mmmm. Vaguely coconutty beeswax with just a tiny dollop of smoke or perhaps even soap. this has a very weirdly luxury feel to it. it’s a very clean-skin kind of smell. the dry down smells exactly as it does in the vial. I may consider getting a bottle of this, as it’s so gentle and yummy i could probably use it as a bed-time scent or for when i’m around my parents (who think the only good smells are floral and soap)

Gentle floral with lovely tea notes and definitely something a little bit spicy…. probably the carnation. It’s definitely rose-forward, which i love because i’m team “rose-lover”. It’s certainly a youthful scent, something appropriate for an office in the daytime or a woman dressed in a white cotton billowy dress with long loose curls. Not a bottle for me, but definitely a bottle for my mom, who adores it.

This smells like warm blanket. Fresh out of the dryer, definitely a bit worn. Not cottony, not at all, I just mean that wearing this feels like being wrapped in a soft warm blanket. I think its the tonka and bergamot, both of which are central players on my skin. Really nice!!

ignore all prior reviews. in the year and eight months since i gave snake oil a lukewarm review, i have since acquired like 5 vintage bottles, and spiralled into snakes hard. its now a real ride or die lol.

Woawh…. floral. eugh! I know, I know, what was I expecting based on the description? I dunno! But not a weird Overly-heady screechy perfume with some kind of skanky stank underneath! Bummed but it actually smelled beautiful on my best friend, so it was absolutely just a skin chemistry thing lol.

GRRRRR i need a full bottle of this It’s such a lovely sexy cocoa scent. I could smell like this forever and die happy. Its like Bliss but has a different heart note. Like Bliss’s older sister.

Seventh is Sjofn. She is much concerned to direct people’s minds to love, both women and men. Our song to the Norse Goddess of Love is scented with apples and birch and bound with apple blossoms. Soapy cherry blossoms. The tiiiiiiniest tinge of apple underneath, but this is just so soapy on me.

In Hermetic alchemy, brimstone is one of the Three Heavenly Substances, one of the primary alchemical Priciples. It represents the strength of will and the vigor of passion, and it is a symbol of the process of fermentation. A smoky, gritty blend, husky and gray. Spicy, smoky, headshoppy. Definitely smells like fire in a sort of round about way, like coals that are still smoldering which i guess is the point! Will use up my imp. I feel like this could smell soooooooo sexy on a man so this will be added to the pile of things i’m forcing the boy to try, lol.

Mmmmmm….. cookies, buttery and warm, smothered in a lavender buttercream frosting. perfect for sleep, because its light and comforting.

Blast of leather and lavender- it’ll clear your sinuses thats for sure! This actually ends up being a gorgeous creamy lavender-hops scent. I smell something deep down thats almost…. blanket-y. like putting on a warm sweater after your boyfriend wore it under a leather jacket after he got a massage from one of those fancy-med spas where they rub you down with lavender oil. Safety in a bottle. My boyfriend loved it but its not something I see myself wearing enough to justify hanging onto my fullsize bottle, so i had to pass it along to someone else ;( i’ll probably hunt down a decant or something

I sold this off almost immediately because something in it was giving me a combo headache and sneeze-attack every time i put it on! It’s not the porcelain note because i’m pretty sure i’ve sampled other porcelain notes before (i believe cat with vase has it?). The bright strawberry and carnation is gorgeous, it bloomed on the skin, but after testing it a couple of times i realised it was THIS that was giving me troubles lol. so disappointed as it was truly beautiful

I love this. Sunny slices of lemon floating in a base of patchouli, allspice maybe (?) vanilla and barrel-aged whiskey. For some reason the association in my brain is Love My Way by the Psychedelic Furs? It just smells like something a 70’s witch would wear. Lovely! It’s super strong and has a good wear time. I wore it all day and to bed, and could still smell it when I went to sleep. I was also told I smelled sexy by a very close friend of mine with a notoriously hard to please nose! Overall 10’s in my book.

I always wanna bite my arm when I wear this. I really like the bright blackberry jelly note. I really don’t get much apple, but the pastry definitely is rounding/ softening the blackberry!

This starts off with a really lovely buttercream-y vibe. It’s definitely recognisable as dorian. It’s like a cup of tea next to a beautiful vanilla cake with layers upon layers of lemony frosting, with the tiniest hint of musk to warm it up.

This is just straight up leather and. something sharp and indolic. it fades into something prettier after the initial blast but remains mostly leather and floral.
