i'm always impressed by what 5 minutes of skin contact and body heat can do to perfume oil. in the frimp, fresh green and soapy. on contact, a lovely floral soap, heavy on the soap. and then 5 minutes later the soap dies away. a quick whiff of pine, intoxicating florals backed by a subtle woodiness that hits the nose last, all caramelized. Quite sweet.

Earthy, spiced, sweet fermenting apples with lovely ginger. I love the lab's apple note so I felt confident in purchasing a bottle, and this does not disappoint! It took me a few hours to understand the scent entirely - bubblegum, then banana candy... a whiff of rubber/latex? And then finally my nose sorted itself out and Goblin Cider bloomed dark, dusty and spicy-sweet. I would love to drink this! But I will refrain, as it would poison me.

When wet this is buttery pumpkin and brown sugar. As it dries it gradually becomes a dark, dry incense, thickened and sweetened by those first notes. I'm also getting just the faintest whiff of fresh vegetal pumpkin somewhere in there. Exactly as advertised. I love it.

Wet, this is sour cherry candy and clove. Dry, it becomes incense and clove with the cherry fading sweet and tart into the background. And then it stays this way. I'm picking up an an earthy quality to it as well. It's probably one of the resins but I couldn't tell you for certain. Blood is powerful and has a lot of throw. I can wear very little (a single droplet shared between my wrists) and my mother will complain that it's too strong - though she's particularly sensitive to smells. It also lasts a loooong time. Many a night I've gone to sleep wearing blood and awoken some 8 hours later to find it still clinging to my skin.
