Anyone have a recommendation for a BPAL similar to Nosferatu by Heretic? Here are its notes and inspiration as per the official Heretic listing: TOP: Lilac, Ambrette HEART: Petrichor, Violet Absolute, Orris Concrete, Cypriol BASE: Vegan Ambergris, Oud, Labdanum SMELLS LIKE: An encounter with an apparition in the cold, damp caves of Count Orlok's castle. -
Fresh and herbal, in a gardener sense I mostly picked up grass but my nose is still learning to tell apart many notes. I wore it on a hot day and it was not cloying or headache- or nausea-inducing for me. Lasted about 7 hours or so on the back of my hand, even with my countless hand washings. Unisex, leaning masculine on dry down.

Tiefling Therapist didn't have good chemistry with my skin :'( it was at times oddly soapy yet astringent? It smelled like a clean bathroom on me and no matter when I sampled it or how long it rested (literally months) it never morphed into something wearable. I still don't know what note was the main culprit behind that...

Bubblegum-sweet pear and coconut, all the way through for me. Fun and carefree, in an ageless way. This is my favorite of the Halloween scents from 2024, I'm gonna buy a backup before they're taken off the site although I'm hoping the Carmilla line was popular enough that it becomes a permanent line in the GC :')

My Tav in BG3 is a seldarine drow so I had to try this and it hasn't disappointed! I'm not familiar with some of these notes (black Opium poppy, indigo labdanum) and the only fragrance I've tried with ti leaf--Monk--was incompatible with my nose and skin. Still, this is a very musky, very dark yet sweet plum. It morphed on my skin the first time I tried it and I was able to pick out the leather note as well. It's very sexy and it doesn't need to be layered with other fragrances to smell complete, although I'll make a combo for my Tav and report back in the appropriate post I'm seeing a full bottle of Drow in my future.

I'm glad I got to sample this! Lots of spice and some apples, oh and the marshmallow is present too. I smell a lot of cinnamon and some clove. Scent lasts a long time in my hair and the gloss gives my waves nice definition.

This is an surprisingly fresh floral perfume, slightly mature in a mysterious and cool way. It's very well blended, I can't pick out any individual notes.

On first sniff I instantly recoiled. This perfume is absolutely not for me! But once it dries down, this is a floral heavy fragrance with a gorgeous feminine background and a slight bitterness. I can pick out the rose and neroli for sure.

Oh this is gorgeous!! I got this as a frimp in my last order and I'm itching for it to join the RPG collection! It's sweet, light, ethereal and like it could take flight at any moment. Perfect for its namesake! I smell fresh and light vanilla, front and center. It'll go perfect with good and paladin (Dame Aylin perfume, anyone?)

This is the perfume that finally made me accept I do not like ylang ylang. That's all I smell when I wear this. It's an instant scrubber for me -
Delicious cherry goodness! My amateur nose doesn't pick up much else unfortunately but it still smells lovely.

I got this one from the Etsy shop. I adore it! It's perfectly spring and deliciously pink. Strawberries, flowers, and lots of white chocolate blended together to make a lovely sweet and creamy scent.

This is a very fresh autumnal scent, with the corn husks coming through strongly for me. I also smell a smidgen of orange perhaps? Not a strong note, so I might be mixing it up with the mead.

Beautiful, creamy, slightly chilly floral. In the bottle, it reminds me of Zest soap but on my skin, it's a delicate blend of white chocolate and flowers. I wore this one a lot during the SoCal heatwave but I think it'd be great year-round.

I got an imp in 2024 so it's not aged. This is such a gorgeous scent! It's a little dirty, a little sweet, a lot of sexy. Wet, it smells like spicy dirt but dry? It becomes a vanilla and patchouli tango on my skin.

This is such an easy wear for me! Fluffy white marshmallow cream mellowed out by lemon. Nor overly sweet or citrus, it's just the right balance of notes to make it a comfy wear.

Milk is one of my favorite notes in perfume so I was very excited to try Alice but I can't like it it oddly smells like a clean public bathroom. Maybe it's the bergamot and honey? BPAL's honey note goes sour on me so that could be why.

Sweet clean linen. The food notes are mild and only enhance the linen scent to me. It's nice in cooler weather but I imagine it'd be better during warmer weather. Update 10Feb25: I've been sampling White Rabbit a lot lately. It's mostly ginger and linen to me but it's such a relaxing clean scent. I'm definitely buying a full bottle.

I got this as a frimp with my last order and I'm so glad I did, otherwise I'd have missed out on this deliciousness. I've only worn it once so I will update if (when) I try it again but I got only Irish cream. Delicious, creamy, and sweet, with about 5 hours of solid wear.

Soft vanilla rose, no blackcurrant according to my nose. Slightly creamy without being thick or cloying, well-blended and soft.

Like having mulled cider with a slice of pumpkin pie. It's perfect for fall. Editing to add that it's also very wearable and not foody at all.

I'm so sad I didn't like this one Once it dries I smell caramel and candy corn only. I don't know what belladonna smells like, let alone belladonna honey, so I'm not sure if I'm picking this note up at all... The description sounded lovely but it doesn't mesh well with my skin.
