Wensleydale is a clean scent. Very pleasant but not remarkable. Freshly laundered cotton sheets, flapping in the breeze, is what this scent evokes for me.

Oh, DAMN. This is so nice. If I rolled about in pumpkin pie filling, this is exactly what I would smell like. Sweet and spicy and gorgeous.

Alicia_Stardust hit this one on the head. Sloth is very masculine. Spicy and heavy.

In the imp: I thought this was nothing but freshly mown lawn when it starts to sprinkle and the grass gets stuck to your shoes. Then reading the other reviews, I see bell pepper mentioned. Might have some of that, yes it might. Wet: Serious grass but with something very sweet behind it. Dry: The grass is definitely gone. The sweet is tempered by something woody/herbal. Interesting, but not something I smell myself wearing very often. A decant is sufficient.

Whoa! Spicy spice!! I have a noseful of ginger and pepper with a hint of cardamom in there for good measure. When it dries, gardenia comes to the fore. This is definitely a powerful scent. Good thing I like it. Muchly.

I get mostly a sweet musk and sandalwood combination from this while it's wet. After it dries, a hint of spice comes through. It definitely reminds me of something from my childhood, some sort of forgotten perfume. Does NOT last very long.

Yuck. In the imp, this is pure fresh coconut. Wet: The coconut has been drenched in milk. Dry: The milk has now curdled and the cocnut smells like plastic.

For the first time, I sniffed and hit the main ingredient on the head without having to do my usual "this is familiar, what is it." This is grapefruit. Wait. I am wrong. This is GRAPEFRUIT!!!!!1!!! Screamingly grapefruit. Freshly squeezed juice with bits of pulp and a seed on the bottom of the glass. Were I to try and sip, my face would implode. It would be that sharp and biting. However, on my skin it is DIVINE!!! It is fresh and invigorating. After drying, I can detect a floral in the background. I adore this. Definitely a good one when silent Reveille is needed. This is better than an old bugle any day.

In the imp and wet: lemon and jasmine Dry: Jasmine and sandalwood primarily with a touch of orris root. Not bad.
-
This started out grassy, pungent and sharp. When it dried, it turned soft and powdery. Incense, tobacco and dusty paper.
-
In the imp and wet: grass Dry: smoky and grassy.

Nah. I thought this might be really nice because I love all the notes in this one. But it is not to be. All it does is turn to soap, the generic soap your teacher used to buy in bags of 12 to use in crafts. A weird mixture of jasmine and honeysuckle.

Mmmmm... spicy ginger and musk. Pretty pretty.
-
Smells slightly mildewed in the imp and literally vanishes in 5 minutes. However, in the short time that it is detectable, I get wood and paper. Nothing else.

What a difference between wet and dry... Wet, I get buttery pumpkin and it makes me slightly nauseated. But when it dries, wow does it go lovely. The tobacco is slightly sweet and the carnation is gorgeous. I love this scent and am damned glad I got a bottle of it.

Not so terribly impressed with this scent. While I do like rose scents, this one just reminds me of Lux soap. Not for me.
-
Peitho is gorgeous!! Starts out as a blast of jasmine and sandalwood. Dries soft and warm and lush. I get jasmine, sandalwood, myrrh and vanilla. This is a winter scent (imo) and I WILL be using it then. Lovely.
-
In the imp and wet: Pine scented cleaner. Dry: Evergreen piney pines. I smell like a pine forest.
-
Pineapple. That is all.
-
Jasmine sambac, dark musk, violet water, vanilla bean and mimosa. I love jasmine and I love violet so this is magnificent. The only problem is that it does not last very long. Definitely fodder for scent locket. LOVE.

This is a soft, quiet and dry fragrance. Powdery incense. Lasts and lasts too.
-
Citrus and rather masculine. Probably great for a guy but not for me.
-
In the imp and wet: Very soapy rose scent Dry: This dries to such a thin delicate rose fragrance that there's almost nothing to talk about. It is a very wispy scent and it's pretty much gone after 30 minutes. Nice while it lasted.

This goes on like a fruity cola drink. Cherry cola? Dr. Pepper? After it dries, the sandalwood comes out to play. I like it.

This is a generic and cloyingly sweet perfume, almost nauseatingly powerful. Not subtle in the least. Not bad, but Definitely not something to slather.
