I think I actually like this new (2007) version better than the '05 bottle I have. It's just sweeter and spicier.

In the bottle: Weird, I am totally not getting sugared plums. More like grass, and something else I can't place. Wet: On my skin, it becomes more apparent that this blend contains sweet notes. Oh, good! Here are the sugared plums. Dry: Yummy sugared plums! With a hint of floral. It's not really foody, at least on me. But lovely, and possibly another multi-bottle purchase. Edited to add: I wore this to work today, and it really smells a LOT like Purple Phoenix on me. Not exactly the same, but similar. I like Purple Phoenix, so that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it will be interesting to see how it ages.

In the bottle: Sharp and minty. Wet: This seems a little more strongly pepperminty to me than Lick It Again, so far. Dry: This is definitely more minty than Lick It Again. But still yummy, although it goes pretty faint on my skin on the drydown.

In the bottle: It smells exactly like egg nog! Wet: Yup, still yummy eggnog. *prays fervently that her skin won't eat it* Dry: Still yummy eggnog. Oh man. I have tried 4 of my Yulies and so far, they all seem to be likely second-bottle purchases. I wonder how I am going to afford holiday gifts. *scratches head* Edited to add: Hmmm, this went weird and cardboardy on me after about an hour. I will give it another try, and will be sad if it doesn't work. Although at least my wallet will be a little happier if at least one of the Yules is not a hoarder for me.

In the bottle: Strong, yummy coffee with cream and sugar, and maybe a hint of chocolate. Wet: Strong, yummy coffee! I really love this. Dry: It really does smell like delicious hot cocoa mixed with coffee and cream, sugar, and cinnamon. I love it! Kudos to Beth! I ordered a TON of the Yulies, and so far I have tried three... and totally love them all!

In the bottle: Thick honey and cream. Yum! Wet: A strong sugary scent, reminiscent of Sugar Skull when I first apply it. It calms down quite a bit, though, and I can smell hints of other notes, though it's hard for me to pick out any individual one. Oh man. If this does not go wonky on the drydown, it may be a multiple bottle purchase. Dry: Did not go wonky. It is pure love. If you are not into foodies, this may not work for you, but I wouldn't say this is strictly a foody blend as I can smell hints of the oil and wax notes on and off.

In the bottle: Juicy red berries! Wet: Juicy red berries! Dry: This fades quite a bit on the drydown, but it's so lovely that I'm going to try a healthy slather approach and hope it will stay with me a bit longer. Beyond that, it's beautiful.

In the imp: Men's aftershave (sorry), but not necessarily in a bad way. Wet: Sorry, still men's aftershave. Dry: I guess my nose is broken because I can't pick out any of the individual notes in this blend. It really does smell like a musky men's aftershave, but without the yucky alcohols. I may need to try it again when it's not that time of month. In the meantime, I think this one really need to be tried on my hubby.

In the imp: Sweet almonds. Wet: I am definitely smelling the honeyed almond milk and almost nothing else. This would not be a problem, except that my skin tends to eat things like honey and almond. Oh boy, here comes the coconut. I can't stand strong coconut, so here's hoping the other notes will come out to keep it calm. Dry: This seems to smell like coconutty baked goods on me... it's faint but what I can smell does smell pretty nice. Will try again when it's aged a bit and it's not "that time of month" for me.
-
In the imp: Strong wood note, which is usually not a good sign since many woods do not play nice with my skin. Wet: Very woody, but I think I am also getting some amber right off the bat, so maybe this will work on me after all. Dry: Yummy ambers! I'm glad this is actually working on me.
-
In the imp: Something sweet and fruity. Wet: Definitely fruity. I am guessing I won't smell much of the tea note since my skin seems to eat tea notes (alas, Theodosius did not work on me for this reason). So far, I smell mostly the mango. Okay, here is the green tea note, but I am not fooled... I know it will disappear just like it always does. Dry: Bah, there it goes. It's gone all bland and nearly nonexistent. I never even caught a hint of the patchouli. Ah, well. It was worth a try. :\

In the imp: Very strong florals. Wet: Strong florals and incense. It goes rather soapy as it starts to dry down. Dry: Just as I start to think that this blend is totally not for me, the musks FINALLY start to make their presence known. This might be a keeper after all.
-
In the imp: Grapefruit. Wet: Grapefruit, with an underlying floral note. Dry: The grapefruit disappears more than I'd like on the drydown, but the end result is still nice. I will use the imp and might need a big bottle later.
-
In the imp: Boozy soda. Wet: EXTREMELY artificial cherry (which would make sense, given the Lab's description of this blend). If my skin keeps amping it this much, however, it's not going to work on me. Okay, the fakeness has calmed down a bit, but wow, is this fruity on me! Dry: This dries down to pretty much citrusey goodness. It reminds me of another blend, but I can't remember which one. I like, but I'm not sure if I would need a full bottle.
-
In the bottle: Strongly incensey. Wet: Yup, definitely incensey. Dry: Thankfully, this dries down to the yummy sugared flowers others seem to be getting. I could see buying a bottle of this if presented with the opportunity to do so.
-
In the imp: Strong, almost ridiculously juicy fruit. Sort of reminiscent of my watermelon-flavored Mr. Sketch marker that I had when I was a kid. Anyone remember those? Wet: Same as above. I am noticing that if I sniff my skin, it's more berrylike, but the throw is still Watermelon Mr. Sketch. Dry: Juicy berries. Not sure how much I will wear this, but it's yummy.
-
In the imp: Woods. Not usually a good sign for me, since most strong wood notes hate my skin. Wet: No woods so far, just something sweet and rather soapy. Dry: This all but disappeared on me. Will give it another try later.
-
In the imp: Strangely dirty. Wet: I definitely smell a dirt note, along with something that might be woody (which is not a good sign on my skin). There is also something softly sweet, maybe like really subtle gingerbread. Dry: Hmm, this is a faint, earthy gingerbread that I can barely smell. Better than I expected, but I will need to give this one the Slather Test and report back.
-
In the imp: Something woody, yet sweet. Wet: Mostly lemony citrus, which isn't really a bad thing. Dry: This stays very lemony as it dries down, but gets a little fuller and sweeter. Not what I expected, but again, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
-
In the bottle: This smells sweet and slightly thick. I guess I am mostly smelling the tonka bean? Wet: This is all citrus when I first put it on. Then it goes VERY soapy on me for a few minutes (I think this happens to me with honeysuckle blends sometimes). After that, it's back to strongly citrus. It sort of vacillates between the two for a while. Dry: The jury is still out on this one. I want to like it, but I'm going to have to slather it on and go out for a while to see how I feel about it.
-
In the bottle: Strong wine, mostly. Wet: This does not smell nice on me when I first apply it. It smells like there is some crazy wood note going bonkers with my skin (my skin does not play well with a lot of woods, but usually it's fine with patchouli and sandalwood). Dry: It dries down calmer and I can see the comparisons to Mme Moriarty (but I like Mme better so far). I'm going to have to give this one another try to see how I feel about it.
-
In the bottle: Baked goods, heavy on the butter or cream. Wet: I didn't smell the strawberry or cherry at all in the bottle, but when I put it on I do. It smells delicious! I can see what people mean about the fruit being almost floral. Dry: I can see why people are finding this cakey. It's definitely got a sweet, cakelike aspect to it. I think I really like this one.
-
In the bottle: I was really scared this was going to smell like rotten eggs or something... but it doesn't. It's actually sort of sweet, which surprises me. Wet: I have no idea how to describe this scent. It's soft, sweet, and a little bit foody. The only way I can see this as "egg" is if we're talking about that "sweet egg" sushi, and even then it's a little bit of a stretch. Not that I'm complaining, because I'm not sure why I'd want to smell like eggs! As it settles onto my skin a bit more, I could swear I'm smelling florals--something like carnation. And then a little later, it's sort of a toss-up between florals and the custardy scent others seem to be reporting. Dry: I'm not sure yet if this is the scent for me, but it's definitely worth a few wearings to find out. If not, at least I should be able to get someone to swap something good for it later!

In the bottle: This smells a lot like Pumpkin Queen or Jack or the other strongly pumpkin-pie-like blends, but it definitely has something anchoring it that those others don't. Wet: Pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust. So far, I'm not really smelling any cheesecake, but I'm not surprised because my skin generally amps pumpkin and eats up anything even remotely creamlike. Dry: This dries smelling mostly like graham crackers on me, with some pumpkin mixed in. I love it!
-
In the bottle: Something faintly smoky. Wet: Burning leaves! Like everyone else already said, this totally reminds me of the song "Black #1" (I'm so dating myself here, but when I was about 16, that was the coolest song EVER to me... ha). After a few minutes, I definitely smell spices. I have no idea what vetiver smells like, but if I had to guess, it's earthy and I am smelling the khus only a little. My skin tends to amp clove, but it doesn't seem to be doing that today. It's that time of the month, though, so I'll be careful when I try this the next time (even though I like clove). Dry: This is sort of like October's darker, deeper cousin. I love October, and I love this blend as well.
