I got this as a frimp in one of the recent packages I got. I dont even know which one, but it was in a bag i took with me recently and ended up trying. It smells immediately deep and floral in the bottle, and stays mostly the same on me the whole way through, which I like. It is sweet and feminine, with jasmine coming through strong. It almost smells....purple? I love it. Its distinctly perfumey and dark. I would definitely wear this on a day where I wanted a more unique but perfumey smell that stays away from my typical resiny blends.

I got this in a leaky imp, and had a hard time discerning it in the bottle, so that part of this review is really muddy for me, but when I put it on I was really very confused. It was.... green? I was actually wondering if I had the right scent. It was young and green like fresh cut grass in spring. As it began to dry, it got sweeter and something floral came through, the fougere, the resins...and then bam, it became perfumey on my skin. It became this womanly perfume heady with frankinsense and myrrh. It is too heavy for me to imagine wearing much, and I don't think I would invest in a bottle of it, the undertones of the womanly perfume remind me of my grandmothers home in new york and her Chanel #5, its a beautiful memory, but i dont think i can wear it much. I may see if i can find another imp of it at some point, but not a whole bottle, thats for sure.

HOW DID I NOT KNOW I LOVED APRICOTS. I am really really glad I got an imp of this in my last order. I dont know why I did. *checks order to make sure it was her and not the lab that did it* Yup, I did. Yeah, I am pretty sure its just because I like the taming of the shrew. The apricot is strong on my skin, it is fruity and light and beautiful, as it dries the musk comes forward some and makes for a headier scent, but still light and lovely. I could bathe in this.

This smells like candy to me, a warhead or lemon drop or some sort of starts-sour-goes-sweet candy. It starts with me smelling the lemon verbena and orange zest strongly, and the sweet, juicy, candy scent is in the background, its almost bubblegummy, and then as it dries it come forefront as the lemon verbena and orange zest move backstage. It becomes a sweet juicy candy. Its awesome. Perfectly Lolita.

Wet, it is heavy on the sandalwood and vanilla, but as it dries the jasmine comes out to play and it mellows with the champaca flower, becoming a lighter floral. Its a warm scent, well blended but not wintry or summery, maybe spring? I can smell the honey, which is always a touch powdery on me, and I like it, and the roundness of the vanilla. On the drydown the sandalwood hangs in the back, just playing the "holding this together" game, when the florals of champaca and jasmine come to the top in lovely and sensual romantic scent. The sweetness I smell might be cinnamon? I'm not sure. I love this. Its going on the *buy a bottle* list.

oh yum! yum yum yum! I just, not more than an hour ago, ripped open my easter bunny wish package from the amazing Andrea912 and this was in it, as a SUPRISE!!!, it was on my wish list but i wasnt expecting it, and to my happiness, I love it so so so much! I have been searching for the perfect Cinnamon for ages, and this is it! Cassia, Cinnamon, Ginger, omg! on me, this smells similar on skin as it does in the imp. It gets a little more candy-like in the drydown, with some more spices coming out, and in the imp its more cinnamon and incense. Both are amazing. I need hordes of this.

I was very happy to get this in the mail today, as i LOVE LOVE LOVE the poem (not as much as the Passionate Shepard, but almost). I didn't even remember what the notes were, but I went for it anyway, because I am rash and I wanted it. Anyway, i opened up the bottle, and smelled roses, lovely beautiful roses, white floral, and something else...it might be the ozone and beeswax. When i put it on i get no beeswax, and the roses come out as well as the moonflower, yum! Its a little soapy, but roses do that on me, and it isnt sharp or irritating. The soapyness rounds off as it dries (yay!!!) and it sweetens to a beautiful sweet rose with moonflower. I dont smell the ozone, and theres something in the background leveling it that may be the beeswax, but its really beautiful. Yum.

It was sweet sugarcane in the bottle, but when i put it on it was immediately woodsy sweet and then smoky while wet. I think i can blame the teak for this, though it wasnt necessarily bad, just unexpected. I was enjoying the scent metamorphosis, and the POOF, gone. My skin ATE IT. Seriously, It is vaguely sweet smelling on my wrist now but barely there. I only have a partial bottle of this, i may put it in a scent locket...I love the smell.

I FINALLLY got the boy to try this one. I knew he would love it, and lo and behold, i was right. Hes sniffed the imp a few times before, and wrinkled his nose at it. Not this time, he will try pretty much anything (which I adore, hes so open!) I just had to tell him it was a good idea and have him not be around his guy friends . Anyway, I swiped his wrist with the imp and few minutes later I hear "mmm...baby, this smells kinda like my Gucci" I think that means its a five star from him. And after smelling it on him, its DEFINITELY a five star from me, big bottle for this one, it makes me want to take all of his clothes off. After reading the review to him: "That's all the review I need, point me towards an order page. Oh yeeeah."

ok. i am reviewing this simply because i think there is something WRONG with my imp. I opened it up and it smelled NOTHING like black currants or bulgarian lavender. It wasnt even musky. It was sharp and like car oil and motors and i had no idea what was going on. I was too afraid to test it because it wasnt good smelling AT ALL so im just going to save this place in the reviews here. Maybe someone will reply with a similar experience? I dont want to give away or sell my imp if there's something wrong with it. As it stands, ill probably test it properly later and post the results here. EDIT: So i tested it on the boy. Yeah, cause im a wimp and cant hack it like that. Besides, he sniffed it and liked it. So i snatched his wriste and put some on him. Sure enough, the Currant and Lavender came right out when it was wet. When it dried, and i quote, "it smells a little like grandma" which is the standard response for anything with lavender in the foreground, so i had a sniff myself. The softer dark floral, musk, and fruityness of it did remind me a bit of my grandmother, but it was comforting, so ill probably keep the imp around and put it in a locket for comforts sake, or use it as a room scent when im down. Its not wearable for me or him, but i like having it around.

Awesome, this is just what I was looking for. I am going to start through this sheet when i get back from work tonight. The boy is going to get home early to take me to the symphony and think im NUTS- all covered in bpalz.

This review pertains to the Snow White 2007 When i first got this (in 2007) I smelled it in the bottle and immediately did not like. I tested it but I didn't post a review then because I had heard such amazing things about Snow White, and wanted to give it a second chance. So i put it in my "thinkaboutit" box and pretty much forgot i owned it (like with a few other bottles I need to do something with...) I saw it again today and pulled it out. I smelled it, it was still strong, but not quite as acrid, but it still had something that bothered me in it. I tested a teensy weensy bit on my wrist and instantly, viola, PLAY-DOH, and 2 hrs later, it continues to amplify. Its driving me nuts. Kinda sad, because if I get my nose REALLLY close to my wrist I can smell the beautiful background--which is totally overwhelmed by the PLAY-DOH!!!!! -.- This will end up in swaps i'm afraid.

When i put this one on and tested it, it really really confused me. It *reminds* me of something, and I wonder momentarily if I already own it. I confirm that I dont, and it strikes me. It smells almost exactly like an amy brown perfume I used to wear, not my old favorite, but a roll on I used to wear (And still have, but have largely given up for my BPAL). It is sweet, and I enjoy the scent, It smells to me like Cinnamon cookies almost. A little creamy? Its almost too sweet for me, but there are occasions for a scent like this. And it will be worn accordingly. .

Cherry, just like alot of other people said. Cherry, and dark, in the vial. Definitely "blood". Unfortunately, cherry, as much as i love the way it smells on me, does a very terrible thing on me, it goes "fake". It ends up smelling like plasticky little kids lipstick. It did it with vice, and it is doing it with this. I can live without vice, but this one smells so fantastic wet that I may just save the imp and put it in a locket. I love dragons blood and cherries, I wish they loved me more.
