...a singularly chilly, delectably ice-rimmed perfume. Revel in the gelid polar frostiness that is Numb, and forget about the heat for a moment. I agree that it's slightly soapy, but it morphed into a cool violet scent on me after awhile. While I think violets are lovely, they don't really do much for me, sadly. An interesting scent, though.

Sadly, this smells too much like peaches on me for some reason...:/ A Shame, it smells great in the imp.

In the imp: fruity and spicy. Wet: nutty, a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, cherries, and rum. It smells like freshly baked, GOOD fruitcake! Dry: boozy and fruity, still with a hint of cinnamon. Overall: a great foody/boozy scent, this really would make a great holiday scent. I could totally see wearing this at a holiday party.

Even though I thought it smelled sweet and spicy in the imp, this is turning out smelling like candy on me. :/ I'm assuming it's the carnation. Bah. Too bad.

I was lucky enough to get a sniffie of this in a recent purchase. I've been dying to smell it, and I was not disappointed! I haven't really got enough to put any on, but it smells delightfully buttery, and smothered with currant. Something tells me if I had a bottle of this, I'd be trying to eat my arms!

I got this as a frimp from someone I purchased imps from, and I gotta say, I really like this for a Halloween/Autumn scent. To me it smells like pumpkin pie and candy corn. Delicious~!

To me, this smells a lot like Cheshire Cat...if he had walked all over one of those big white vanilla sheet cakes. X9 Delicious and berry-filled.

I just got my bottle this morning. I'm in LOVE! In the bottle: A creamy, almost boozy smell. Like some kind of fall 'nog. Wet: Pomegranate and pumpkin! I'd never smelled the two together, but they complement each other quite nicely. Dry: Oh, man...this is like some kind of amazing fall dessert! Like a decadent pumpkin pie topped with icecream and fruit. I just want to eat my arms up. I'm SO glad I picked this pumpkin...I'm going to be smelling like this all fall, I think. ;D

In the imp: a sweet, delicate floral. Wet: the very light, delicate florals combined with the cotton blossom made me think of a springtime nursery. Dry: It's light and sweet, very feminine, and almost innocent smelling. I found nothing "enraging" about this scent at all, I think it's adorable.

In the imp: light and citrusy, but with a bitterness...almost like a tea smell. Wet: Almost mojito-like! But with a kind of floral edge. Dry: This dried up on me very quickly, and turned almost...musk-ish at the end, but still in a light, citrusy kinda way. Overall, I liked it, but probably not enough to wear it on a regular basis.

I'm pretty sure the decant I got was the 05 version, because I didn't smell any cinnamon in the imp or on my skin. It was very buttery and insanely sweet--not as nice smelling as my mother's sugar cookies, but achingly close. DELICIOUS!

The crisp, clean scent of green tea touched with lemon verbena and honeysuckle. To me, this smelled like a less urban version of Neo-Tokyo! I was pleasantly surprised. I might have to get a bottle of this eventually.

In the imp: Lightly floral with a deep resin tone. Wet: Wow, hello patchuli and resin! And I think I smelled something like incense or clove? Either way, it was super strong when first applied. Drydown: Once I got past it's initial "WHOA STRONG!!" scents, this was actually pretty nice. Very rich, smoky, and sexy. It reminded me of a slightly more masculine, not as sweet Snake Oil kind of scent. I think this would smell fantastic on a boy.

Thank you so much! The person who decanted it misspelled the name on the label, that didn't help in my looking for it, lol. ;

In the imp: Cinnamon, but also a sharp green smell...I'm assuming the black leaf tea. Wet: Citrus-y cinnamon with a musky bite! I was a little worried this might be too strong for me, at first. Musk usually hates me. Dry: Not bad at all! After the musk dies down a little, it's a great earthy-cinnamon-citrus complex scent. It's very intriguing. I'm definitely holding onto this imp.

In the imp: Sweet and spicy fruits! Wet: Sweet and gentle florals, with a fruity, Asian tea kind of smell. The ginger is very gentle and doesn't try to overpower everything. Dry: This got a little sweeter on me--possibly from the lotus, that tends to go bubblegum-y on me--but it didn't end up making me smell like a gumball like most things that have lotus do. Awesome! I love the balance of scents, this is probably one of the best Asian-inspired scents I've ever tried. I wish I'd known about it when it was released, I would've definitely gotten a bottle of this!

In the imp: Sweet mint candy! Wet: The vanilla's a little more noticeable when wet. The mint is strong, but not harsh. Sweet and delicious smelling. Dry: Like some kind of awesome mint cookie. I love this!

I recently bought an imp of Tama-no-mae, and I can't for the life of me find the review thread for it. Where is it?! Someone point it out to me so I can stop feeling like a complete moron?

I really wanted to try this one, just because it sounded unique...now that I have, I'm a little disappointed. On me, it smelled like someone mixed beer with pixi-stix and threw it on me. :/ Definitely doesn't work with my skin.

In the imp: Light citrus tea with a hint of flowers. Wet: Much sweeter than I expected, with a nice balance of florals and citrus. Dry: a very refreshing scent overall! I was worried that the lemon verbena might come off as chemical-y smelling on me like it has in the past, but it works very well with the green tea.

i'd have to agree with the last couple of reviews--way too strong. Too much eucalyptus for me. Shame, I really looked forward to trying this one. :/

Though I usually don't like such simple rose smells, this one's probably one of the best I've smelled. It doesn't just smell like roses, it smells like a whole rose garden! You not only smell the roses, but you smell stems, leaves, roots, dew...it's a very earthy and organic rose. Very nice! Not something I'd wear, but a very pleasing smell none the less.
-
In the Imp: Flower-power to the max! It made me think of some rich, expensive perfume you'd smell on some posh celeb. Wet on skin: The roses smelled incredibly lush and beautiful, but I'm not a huge fan of narcissus. Dry on skin: Rose soap. Darn it. :/ I have a hard time finding rose scents that don't go soapy on me, no matter how nice they smell wet...
-
In the Imp: Sweet and warm. Wet on skin: Vanilla! Honey! Oh, man, I wanted to drink it. Dry on skin: Like most people, it ended up smelling like baby-powder on me, too. :/ Too bad, when it was wet, it smelled fantastic!
-
In the Imp: Whoa, Violet! Wet on skin: Violets and rose against a soft, almost baby-powder-like note. Dry on skin: Aaaaannnnd it goes soapy on me. :/ Darn. So many people liked it, I was hoping it would work out. It's a great rose scent, though, just not for me.
