OK, plum wine, Sakura, or rice flower must not work on me. Lover's in a Ricefield and Hanami did not work, and I detect similarities here. Very sickly sweet floral, not my cup o tea.

Hmm, this is MUCH better than the bath oil. I get a nice, crisp citrus with a touch of fresh floral. Perfect for hottish weather. This doesn't go "cheap body spray", either, which most citruses tend to do on me. I will definitely use this imp up.

Ooh, this is nice! First sniff, I get ginger and tea, which is great, as ginger is probably my fave spice note. This stays pretty true on the skin, a lovely fresh scent, perfect for a hot day, very reminiscent of Embalming Fluid. I'm guessing they have the same tea note. The jasmine is baaarely there, possibly adding a bit of sourness which translates to citrus to me, even more adding to the EF similarities. I like this very much and will definitely use up my decant and layer with the perfume and EF.

Hmm, this smells pretty much like the Templum Victoriae Atmosphere Spray, which I did grow to like. This is quite resin-y with the frankincense I believe, dominating with a bit of beeswax thrown in. I used this as a moisturizer after a shower, and it was quite nice at the beginning, sweet resin goodness, but after 15 minutes or so, it fades into something barely there, with a bit of an "old" plastic smell. Like an old shampoo bottle that has been sitting in the sun and then microwaved. I'll probably age her a bit to see if the yuck goes away, but I must say that the Bpal bath oils are GREAT moisturizers straight on the skin, and I may keep her just for that. Hmm, this really does turn into something very mysterious, but soft. I'm really digging this now, and looking forward to trying the perfume.

At first, I thought this was a write off. First applied, this smells like cherry cough syrup and sickly sweet orange. Then, the glorious red musk comes out, and the sweet cherry and orange fade, and yes, it is now a nice tart pom with a touch of lovely orange. Very nice, though it does get a touch soapy. I'll definitely keep and use my decant as an after shower moisturizer.

Spectral white musk and the heart-stopping chill of sheared mint, fanned by caramel-touched body heat, and the diabolical sensuality of black musk, nicotiana, and sage. Ewww, caramel. My least fave note. It is there along with mint (?) and vetiver. Peaking, I see that there is no vetiver, so it must be the musk. This combination is just 'wrong', and with the caramel, pretty much a disaster on my skin. Off to swaps!

At first, this is STRONG jasmine, not really liking it so far. Soon, it dries to a pleasant, fruity floral, with a touch of mint. Not sure where I'm getting the mint from, maybe it's the white musk? I thought the fruit was melon, but it must be the asian plum. I was surprised that this turned into something wearable for me, as initially I had written this off due to the overwhelming jasmine. As it dries, the jasmine does behave and doesn't amp for me, which the little devil often does. In fact, I think the crisp, fruity musk is the forerunner now, with just a touch of floral. Very nice!

Mmm, this is soo beautiful in the imp and on for the first few minutes, I thought definite bottle purchase fer sure. A delicious lime with a twist, like a light musk. For some reason, some citrus's go department store body spray on me, and this is one of them, (Alien Invasion was another). A fake citrus, with a "deodorant" vibe. After awhile, I smell like fungus, WTF?? So sad, as this one smelled absolutely gorgeous for the first few minutes. I guess I'll stick to Embalming Fluid for my citrus fix. Very glad to try this though!!

Wet, this is a sweet, cloying floral. It dries to a spicy, honeyed lily. Quite nice, but not really my style.

This starts out as a very pretty floral, must be something I like, violets for sure. Yup, ylang ylang is here, these two being the few florals that I like. It dries down to pretty much violet for me. I like this, but I already have plenty of violet blends, and it gets slightly powdery with a touch of sour, so I don't need a bottle.

Wet. Almond, where is that coming from? It dries to a faint, spicy musky blend with a touch of vetiver. For some reason, I do not get rum, but this is a brand new imp from the lab. OK, well maybe a VERY slight touch of rum, but I wouldn't have known it was there unless I peaked at the description. OK, but I don't need a bottle.

Like other reviewers, I find this to be a hot, dry scent. Everything is so well blended with the resins and spices, that no one note really dominates for me. If it smells like anything, it would be something like Scattered Gloom or Velvet Panther, but where these blends are dark, this one is bright and sunny, and softer, like you could imagine a birds feathers. No powder here, as sometimes these types of scents can go on me. Total win!!

Wet, this is Strawberry Campino candies, which I really do love. It dries down to Rice Krispie squares, pretty much exact, the marshmallow note of course, with an extra jolt of vanilla. I keep thinking it smells like a pre-teen fragrance, but I am very much enjoying it, like a comfort scent on me, soft fluffy vanilla. It's almost like there is something missing, and I bet if I layered it with say, Snake Oil, this would be phenomenal. This little gem is a keeper, and I'm pretty excited about layering possibilities. Pleasantly surprised, as this is one foody that I really like a lot, and probably wouldn't have ordered, but did so on a whim. YAY for surprises!!

This is pretty much juicy fig with just the perfect amount of sweet cream. This is almost a dead ringer to Bodicea Bath Oil, only I think there is more of a vanilla vibe to the bath oil. This makes me VERY happy, as I love that blend, and now I have something that will last longer on my skin. This is so juicy on me, I almost wish the milk came out a bit more. But I do love this, definitely a keeper, and I'll look forward to seeing how it ages.

Pretty much a sour, powdery jasmine, with a bit of bitterness thrown in. Not for me.

I haven't had the opportunity to try very many milky scents, but here goes! This is a herbal, milky scent right off. The milk fades for a bit, then comes back while herbal fades somewhat into the background. Overall, it dries to a very womanly, creamy blend that I'm enjoying quite a bit. It actually reminds me of how I used to smell while I was breastfeeding. I know it sounds kind of gross, not that I leaked milk or anything, just a "motherly", but feminine scent at the same time, and kind of "close to the skin". I like it, but I don't think I'd be reaching for this one very often. Glad to have tried this one though!! -
At first, I thought this was a banana scent, as this was what it smelled like for the first couple of minutes on. It quickly disappeared into something very bitter and acrid, and then finally morphed into sweet gardenia with other tropicals. Bleh, not a big heady floral lover, and this one is going.

Yum, a very nice fresh grapefruit, perfect for summer. I really don't get anything else, and it fades within half an hour so it is even more difficult to pick out other notes. Because of the quick fade factor, I probably won't get a bottle, but I'll certainly enjoy the imp while it lasts!

This is pretty much baby powder on me, which is OK, as I like powdery scents to some degree. I'm trying to find something that is "different" here as I don't know what Brimstone smells like. Not getting anything but the powder. I'll enjoy my imp, but I don't think I need a bottle.
-
Ooh, it must be the gin/juniper note that I love so much here. Very nice tart, evervescent orange, perfect for summer, quite reminiscent of a "girly" drink. This is pretty much like Velvet Pink Kitty, only with orange instead of strawberry. I really like this, I'll keep the imp, but I like VPK better for my gin fix.
-
Hmm, I thought there was vetiver in here. Must be the wild lettuce that is giving off the pungent vetiver-like scent. Bit of powder here, other than that, just a "dirty" blend to me, maybe with a touch of floral. Not really my thing. Off to swaps.

This is very nice fall blend. It starts out very "pot-pourri", like an cinnamon apple room scent with a touch of wood. After 20 minutes or so, the apple fades somewhat, and the smoky wood is more prominent. Very glad to have tried this, but I don't think I need anymore spicy fall blends.

In the imp and on for a few minutes, this is very promising. A beautiful refreshing white grapefruit, absolutely perfect for summer. As it dries, something horrible happens. A sour, putrid stench comes out, and the grapefruit hides into the background. Even cheap department store perfume cannot describe how wrong this has developed. It's like an imitation Axe version of the feminine variety. Basically a cheap body wash kind of blend on me. I blame the tentacle goo and my body chemistry. So sad.

This is nice and fresh, perfect for a summer day. The milk note must temper the aquatic, as I can actually wear this without washing it off. Nice, but I don't like it enough for a bottle.

Not sure what is making this blend so very soapy on me, but it is straight hotel soap from wet to dry. A bit of rose peaks out, so it is really just a rose hotel soap. Ah well, can't like em all. Off to swaps.
