This is the 2011 version. In the imp, delicious butter cookie with a touch of spice. On, the other way around, spice to the extreme with a touch of cookie. I wish it would smell like the wet stage on me, but the spice, (I think it's nutmeg, as a previous reviewer noted), is just the loud star player and definitely demands attention. I get a touch of booze here as well. Not for me, but nice to try!

This smells amazing in the container, a crisp ginger, my favourite kind. In the tub, the water does not bubble, and I can't smell the ginger anymore. After a bit, the air around the tub smells like the most wonderful fresh ginger, though. This does not scent me, that I know of, but the bathroom smelled nice for about an hour after the tub. Like other bath brews, the scent is lovely, and I'd like a couple in perfume form, but they just don't do anything remarkable in the tub.

Heavy metallic is right, and the tobacco is right along for the ride competing for dominance. It's not a smooth tobacco, like Perversion, but a 'rough around the edges' one. This blend is biting, abrasive and masculine. Really not my kind of scent, and I don't think I'd even like it on a guy. Much to aggressive and metallic.

From the notes listed, I thought this would be a heavy, dark scent. Quite the opposite, this is fresh and green on me with the barest hint of leather. This kind of reminds me of Ded Moroz in a way, it's got that outdoorsy kind of vibe. I think this is one of those blends that will change remarkably as it ages, but even now, it is very lovely. I'd say it was more unisex blend. Nice job, Beth!

Fruity blackcurrant with a bit of a 'bite' in the container. In the bath, this is probably the only bath brew so far that I can smell anything after adding it to the water. I wouldn't say the water has scent, but the air around the tub. It's mostly the blackcurrant, and maaybe a touch of the opium. There was some bubbles this time around, though they didn't last.

This is from the lovely sara, above me.. This smells a lot like the leather in Olisbos, like a tack store that sells saddles, bridles, and other leather goods. I get a bit of musk in the sample, but not in the air. It is all soft leather in the living room. Nice to try, but I prefer candles for scenting a room.

In the container, a cool vanilla. Not unlike Lyonesse or Black Opal, that kind of vanilla. In the tub, the scent does the disappearing act just like the other bath potions. I'd really like a perfume like this, but the bath potions seem to be a bomb for me. *sorry bad pun*

In the container, very strong, aggressive, and masculine. It's rather a strong, woody musk, I'm not really getting any dragon's blood. In the water, much the same, though the scent doesn't seem to linger in the bath. This would be a great 'guy' bath, if the scent were to stick around. I didn't really smell it on me after my bath either. No bubbles.

This is the 07 version. I could hardly smell anything in the imp, and on for the first few minutes. Gradually, I'm getting a bit of apples, then a strong mulling spice. The apple is now gone, and I'm getting the spice (I can't even tell really what it is, it's just a well blended spice), and musky leaves. I like this, and I'll certainly enjoy the rest of the imp, though it seems more suited to autumn weather, with blowing leaves and NO SNOW. 2011 Version: Evil apple at first, kind of like a patch infused apple with leaves. Gradually turns into leaves and spices. This is pretty much how I remember the 07 version to be, though this is kind of medicinal, and STRONG. Not really my thing, though maybe it needs to age, and a little dab'll do.

On first sniff, kind of a fresh citrus, but I'm betting that is the pink pepper. Dry, still a bright pepper, and it certainly does smell pink, especially with the florals starting to peak through. I'm happy that the honeysuckle is behaving, as it is usually very heady on me. This blend is quite nice, but a fast fader. I can hardly smell it after just 20 minutes.

Sweet pink rose, from start to finish. I get no wickedness here at all. In fact, a lot of roses go 'pickle juice' on me, but this one stays true. Not a rose fan, but rose lovers should take note, this is a nice, soft feminine rose.

This really doesn't smell like egg to me, kind of a slightly coconut vanilla custard, which I guess has egg in it. This is yummy and warm, and reminds me of other foody vanillas with a kick. I really like this, and will use up the imp.

Very exotic, with an unidentifiable spice, or mixture of spices. It kind of reminds me of Bengal, but without the amber. Though this is spicy, it's not a 'warm' spice, but a coolish, refreshing one, quite unusual, but I like it! It also reminds me a bit of Shalimar, probably the Eastern influence. I like this, and very happy someone frimped me this in an e-bay win. Whoever you are on the forum, thanks so much, I've been wanting to try this for a long time.

Lots and lots of patch at first. It's pretty strong, and the tobacco is poking through here, quite a masculine and aggressive blend. For a strong blend, it fades pretty fast and we're left with soft wood/vanilla/cacao, which is beautiful, but I can hardly smell it. Maybe age will weaken the beginning stages and strengthen the end, but for now, I'll just keep the imp and try it again at a later date.

This is kind of jasminey with woods, so I was surprised to see neither in the description. After peeking, though, there is definitely vanilla and red musk, and I suppose I could be smelling the gardenia as jasmine. In spite of my distaste for heady florals, this is kind of pretty and soft and powdery. Oh, there's the rose too. Nice to try, but not really me.

I love black musk, and this one does not disappoint. I do find, however, that it tends to dominate on my skin, so it does end up smelling like a couple of black musk blends that I already have, Panther Moon especially. There is also a sweetness with the amber, warming it up beautifully. I'll certainly use the imp, but will not upgrade as it is just too similar to Panther Moon. I'd be curious to try a blend with black musk where it is not the main note just to see how it works on me, but I haven't run into one yet that I know of. I'm sure this is an aged imp as I'm not getting any lemon vibe.

This ends up being a soft, powdery woods on me. I'm getting maybe a touch of jasmine here as well.
-
Wet, very strong and perfumey, but in a good way, if that makes sense. At a loss to figure out the florals, but I'm kind of getting violet and some musk. Dryer, this really smells 'watery', but also in a good way. This ends up being a wet floral, though I do like it, not enough to track down more.
-
Fruity to the extreme, kind of a powdery orange, like the powder from lick-m-aide.
-
Mmm, this smells like something I would want to drink! Wet, I'm getting lots of apple and spices along with a bit of a fizzy quality. Dry, more greenness comes out, perhaps the leaves? I like this, it borderlines potpourri, but the leaves keep it in check. Not really getting plum at all, but still this is an awesome blend, and I certainly wouldn't turn down any if it comes my way. I'll certainly enjoy the imp during autumn weather.

Lots of spicy Dragon's Blood and honeysuckle here, with just a touch of pepper. It did smell just slightly of vetiver at first, but that disappeared quickly. I'm not really one for Dragon's Blood or heady florals, and this definitely fits the bill. This reminds me of late spring, which is nice, but other that what the scent evokes, this is not for me.

At first, very effervescent dark fruits, not unlike other gin blends like Velvet Pink Kitty and Metallic Spinning Wheel. This one is pomegranate, I think, because it starts to go dusty on me. Now it kind of smells like Swank, though that one works on me only certain times of the month, oddly. Glad to have this, and will add it to my other imps of fizzy drink blends.
-
Wet, dark, musky, astringent, strong and powerful masculine blend. Dry, ends up being much the same, a smooth and dark blend, which unfortuneately is a bit too masculine for me.
-
Very perfumey at first, and then the vanilla pokes out. I can thell that this is an amazing warm vanilla, but the musky perfume just seems to overpower it. Not for me.

A sniffie from the fabulous Funny! Very perfumey, but with a freshness about it, like a mint or herb. I can't comment on how it is in the air, but if it is anything like what I'm smelling on the cotton, I would not like my living area to smell so perfumey. Nice to get to see how it smells though!
