Wet, very cakey with a bit of spice. Very reminiscent of Beaver Moon Resurrected at this point. As it dries, the spice amps out of control, and the buttery cake is in the background. I get no anise or orange, or flowers to speak of. I'm not a foody, so I don't really dig this blend. The cake seems to be gaining strength on me, as I'm typing. I bet foodies will love this. Not fake, cloying just yummy cake and spice.

Black and Brown musk smell pretty good on me, and I get a glorious musk here, but it is getting overpowered by the evergreen. This ends up being too masculine on me, but the musk really is beautiful under the greenery.

In the imp, this is strong coffee and spices. A very yummy coffee note, like you're walking past a high end coffee shop. On, I can't smell the coffee (or any pumpkin for that matter), just a creamy spice. It reminds me of a dessert I made one year for Thanksgiving. It was a pumpkin cheesecake with a spicy whipped cream garnish. The whipped cream garnish is pretty much what this smells like. As usual, my husband always asks what I'm wearing when I have on foody blends. He loves this one me, and he can smell the coffee on me, but only from a distance. Not up close. So this is a spicy cream on me (mostly cinnamon). I don't wear foody scents as a rule, but this one was definitely fun to try! Kind of the same kind of blend as Gingerbread Poppet, Pickled Imp, Shub, Chimera, etc. eta: The coffee does get stronger on me as time goes on. Very good throw and longevity.

At first, this has a strong pungent 'weed' note, kind of like if you cut a thistle in half. Gradually this fades and we're left with a watery, woody, orris-like blend with a bit of powder to round things up. Nice to try, but I don't think that this one is me.

I mostly get a sharp floral here, and yes, it is dry and dusty. The sandalwood is glorious underneath all that floral, but is being bitch-slapped into submission, unfortuneately. I wish it were the other way around, as the sandalwood is sooo nice. Oh well.

Hmm, this is a cross between medicinal and cleaning product on me. Kind of like a herbally Detol. Sniffing this makes me feel very uneasy, somehow, and its burning my skin and making two patchy red marks on my wrists. Wow, this has never happened to me before! Maybe with age, this would be nice, but right now, Im feeling pretty nauseous as Im smelling it.

I really didnt like the previous incantation of Sugar Skull. I remember it being more fruity with brown sugar. This still is caramelized brown sugar, but no fruits that I can detect. I really dont like caramel to wear (eating is another story!), but I find this better than Sugar Skull 08, I believe it was.

On, very strong masculine and woody. This kind of reminds me of Interfector, only with less tobacco and sweetness. I think this is much too masculine for me, still I wondered what was smelling so good here at the keyboard, and it was me! I get a bit of spice here too, and though it is nice, I doubt I would ever wear it again. I bet it would smell absolutely amazing on a guy though!

This really smelled like a win in the imp for me, but on, well, I guess I just dont like the smell of green leaves. This really is fresh and definitely green, a combination that Im starting to enjoy, but something here Im not liking, and the fungus note of doom is fading in and out of the picture. Its not bad per se on me, but not something Im ever going to wear again.

Wet, there is a definite dirt note here, along with what I thought was fresh floral, but is most likely fresh cut grass. The dirt note fades pretty fast, and its pretty much fresh grass on me now. I get no wood or booze to speak of. Still, I am surprised at how much I like this scent, it is fresh, airy and nothing at all fall-like or unsavory. This would be lovely in the spring, and I am contemplating a bottle.

I cannot believe there is not jasmine here. This is going to sound pretty bad, but all I smell from wet to dry is a diaper that is soaked and has been left too long. The ammonia-like urine fades after a bit, but it is still there. This is definitely not for me.

This is AMAZING!! I really wished I ordered this unsniffed, but I chickened out at the last minute. This is a gentler Scherezade, kind of sweetened up a bit with the honey. It almost doesnt even smell like red musk to me, or my thoughts of what red musk smelled like may have been wrong all along. A bit spicy, juicy, VERY sexy, and definitely bottle worthy, perhaps even multi bottle worthy. WIN!

In the imp, this is fruity lavender. It kind of reminds me of Moon of the Terrible, but with black currant instead of the fruit that was in MoftheT. I think it was some kind of asian fruit in that one. It dries to a pleasant, somewhat powdery lavender with a touch of tart berry. I like this, but I do get a bit of the dreaded fungus note, but that is just me and my weird skin chemistry. Quite nice, but I dont think I need a full bottle.

Wow, this one is STRONG. I get overwhelming metallic soapiness, very masculine. This would be great as a showergel for a guy, but just not for me as a perfume. I think there may be a bit of vetiver here, though that may be the ashes. Fun to try though!
-
Wet, dark chocolate. Pretty soon, a most lush, juicy berry comes out, which Im guessing is the pimiento berry. The chocolate fades into the background, and the berry is forefront now. It kind of reminds me of the juiciness of Australian Copperhead, but with a dark non foody chocolate. This is a lovely take on a summer 13 blend. I really like this, and will certainly enjoy the rest of my imp!

Ive had this awhile, but have been kind of scared to try it. In the imp, STRONG vetiver, but I do like myrhh, so I thought Id give this a chance. After a bit, the myrhh comes out, but it is still pretty strong on the vetiver. I kind of like this, its dark and resiny, though probably a bit on the masculine side. It really reminds me of Lushs Icon perfume, which I have a bit of. So between this and the Icon, Im pretty set for dark blends for awhile!

The promise of a rose: red rose petals, fresh sap, and the sharp green scent of stem and leaf. Just like a fresh, dewy red rose. Lush and sweet. This is not a sexy rose, it is kind of innocent, not sharp at all and is probably the most true scent of a red rose Ive found yet in bpal. That being said, while I love smelling roses, I dont like smelling like them. Id definitely recommend this to rose lovers, though!
-
At first, this is a strong, musky floral. As it dries, the myrhh balances beautifully with the florals. Normally, Bpals lilac smells pretty floral fake on me, but this is more softer. Maybe because this has aged much more than the lilacs I have tried. At any rate, a beautiful blend, sexy but soft. Kind of dark, but bright at the same time, if that makes sense. Ill certainly treasure what little I have left! eta: This is more and more reminding me of Hod. The amber is coming out, and the florals are becoming more spicy. Still Love!

Sandalwood is almost always a win on me. So I find this out AFTER FRM comes down. I love the combination of notes here, the clove is not overpowering at all, and there is just a wonderful brown warm musky feel to this blend. I think a hunt down of at least a partial is in order. eta: Oops, this gets uber metallic (wtf) on me after a bit. Not so keen on FRM now. Reminds me of what tin foil would smell like if it had a scent. Not for me now, unfortuneately.

This one is uber vanilla funnel cake in the imp. On, it smells like vanilla mint funnel cake, with a bit of salt thrown in. I dont know how salt can smell, but this smells slightly salty. Theres also a bit of caramel thrown in. It so smells like the fair, I cant believe it. Just like walking down the midway. Crispy funnel cakes, caramel and a bit of salt. The mint is still there, but very subdued. Though Im not a foody, this is an amazingly fun scent, and Ill certainly enjoy my imp.

#103. In the imp, this is pink grapefruit. On, its either pink grapefruit or yuzu, but yuzu tends to go very cologney on me, and this one is not doing that, so Im thinking pink grapefruit. After a bit, I guess its the frankincense making an appearance, and man is this whole blend STRONG, and lasts which is odd for a citrus blend (for me). I am so enjoying this, as I love a good citrus (which are hard to find), and bonus, that it lasts. I find the frankincense is more in the background here, but we will see if that holds true with a bit of aging. Ill probably enjoy this more as a cooling blend on hot days, which are pretty much non existent now in the North, but hey, we may have one or two more!

Hmm, nothing but rose for me from wet to dry. Its a nice sweet one, though, and doesnt go sour or pickly at all. This is OK, but I wish the other notes came out a bit more for me. I blame my skin, as it most definitely loves rose.
-
Ohhh, this one is lovely, and of course, its in imp form. At least I did find a win, even though it is certainly not going to last that long! Im having a bit of a hard time identifying notes here. I think its a citrus cream, maybe orange, along with the vanilla. The citrus becomes less recognizable, which is why Im having a bit of a time with this. Its almost like a citrus fizz cream soda with vanilla, and a bit of musk thrown in. It kind of reminds me a bit of Joyful Moon or Under The Harvest Moon. Maybe its the musk. At any rate, its very pretty and not too foody. Ill definitely be keeping this one! eta: Ive been asking everyone around here to smell my wrists, because I cannot identify the citrussy fruit. My son said it was like those green candles I burn, which is yes, honeydew, though it is more tart and not so sweet as other honeydew notes Ive smelled. I cant remember which bpals honeydew was a disaster on me, but this is quite nice.

This is effervescent gingerale and gin, at first. Would be great for hot weather, if we get any more! It dries superfast into fungus gin. Another blend that goes to fungus on me. My skin chemistry is weird, and this will obviously go to another home.
-
This is kind of citrussy on me. I thought for sure there was lemon here, but maybe it`s the evergreens. After a bit, a sweet, delicate rose comes out that doesn`t go powdery on me, which is always nice. All in all, a fresh citrus-like blend with a touch of rose. I`ll certainly enjoy the imp while it lasts!
