Astrology

  • Astrological Info
I'm a Cancer who's just realizing that she really does have a homebody aspect after all. I've never had an astrology chart or anything like that done, but I would love to someday. I always assumed that I had Leo tendencies, since I like warmth/cats/being in control/fame (notoriety)/ luxury/and I've always had more of an affinity for rubies than pearls. *shrug*

    Perversion

Oh. My. God. This is by far my favorite BPAL. I've tried a number of lovely fragrances, but none of them have knocked me over and made me hyperventilate in lust and desire quite like this one. It goes on candy sweet - sugary and a little fruity - and mellows into a caramel/vanilla with a hint of a dark musk (leather?) Unfortunately it doesn't have the lengthy lasting power that some of the other BPALS do, but that's okay. I don't mind reapplying to savor the perfection that is Perversion all over again.

    Dana O'Shee

Dana O'Shee is all clear white musk and light vanilla on me. I expected it to be heavier... more honeyed. The lightness doesn't detract from it's long lasting power. I love this one for comfortable, relaxing days because it just sits in the background like a soft cloud of sweetness. It's not a fragrance that screams its presence or makes you live up to it's image.

    Lampades

This one smells a lot like strawberries on me. Sweet, slightly musky ripe strawberries... in a good way! I didn't get a tart note at all... in the vial Lampades had a yummy sweet berry thing going on, and upon application it made up it's mind that it wanted to be strawberry. It stayed as a pure sugary strawberry for about an hour, and then the musk developed in the background. I had great results with the staying power - at least 8 hours on me, might have been more. It reminds me a bit of Molinard Fraise, except cheaper, easier to obtain, and longer lasting. I think it would make a great room fragrance too.

    Sudha Segara

Sudha Segara starts out as a very true, spicy ginger on me. A lovely warm scent! After about 15 minutes, it starts to mellow into a comforting, sweet ginger. At this stage, it starts to develope a slight clean/fruity note. About half an hour later it's turned to a citrus-y clean fragrance with just a hint of spice. I really like this one, although I do wish I got a longer stage of the sweet vanillic ginger. I have a feeling this would suit my boyfriend quite well.
