In The Bottle: Banana deliciousness! Plus a bit of fresh, unsweetened whipped cream and a flaky pie crust! Wet On Skin: All the same, except the crust is becoming a little more up front. Dry Down: For those that fear banana scents, this might be a perfect one- the banana is subtle and fresh, like real, actual bananas, not like banana candy or flavoring. the crust lends weight and balance, with the cream being thick but light- like real, home-made whipped cream. In All: Low throw, a good daytime scent. Yummy!

In The Bottle: A sweet, almost 'earthy' scent. I get something that reminds me of prunes, which I'm betting is the rich/sweet of the pecan note. Also something that's like autumnal pie spices. Wet On Skin: Much the same, but the prune is morphing into more of the nuttiness one would expect from...nuts. Dry Down: Shoo-Fly-Pie!!! A sweet, rich pie with spices to round it out and a touch of flaky crust. In All: Another winner in the pie category!

First? Eeeeeeeek. All righty then. To preface: My weird body chemistry has a tendency to not work that well with scents/blends that have a "nutty" component to them but in the case of Pecan Pie Bath Oil I was willing to take my chances because, you know, pecan pie, y'all! Plus, I have found that often times the BPTP bath oils will work on me where nothing else does. I had read one review (on Facebook, maybe? Or somewhere else here? I can't find it now) that may have been the Hair Gloss ... but anyway, it said that it smelled EXACTLY like Pecan Pie to them but with an additional note they couldn't put their finger on. In the bottle, to me, I have to admit that it smelled more like fruitcake than pecan pie, which leads me to think the elusive note might be a citrus rind of some sort? Orange or lemon? I think that often winds up in a lot of pecan pie recipes. It was nice (I would have eaten it in a heartbeat) but it didn't make me think "pecan pie" for some reason. In the tub, it definitely mellowed more into a sweeter, slightly less fruity scent. Very sweet and sugary and I probably put on 5 pounds just sniffing it :) Post-bath, I am luxuriously soft but the scent dissipated/evaporated on me almost immediately, which is unusual with my BPTP bath oils ... usually, I smell like my bath for a few hours ... BUT, that said, most of my bath oils are of the frankincense/resinous variety ... this may be my first strictly foody/dessert scent and I suspect that has a lot to do with it. So, overall, it's not what I was expecting, exactly, but it was still lovely!!!!! Next up: Marshmallow Cookie Pie Bath Oil ...

Oh, this is better than my imaginings. It's foody without being too foody and perfume-y without being too perfume-y. In the bottle it smells like...imagine this!...peach pie. Just baked. But the peach isn't too sweet or cloying. On, it's slightly less edible and more like peach flower. But the flower is really peachy. You can't smell buttery piecrust or anything. Considerable throw. I've had it on for four hours and it's fading a bit, and, as it fades, it becomes less lush; the scent isn't just lighter but slightly coppery. But the first two hours are divine.

This the first of the pies I'm trying! In the bottle and on wet: Sweet, syrupy blueberries, with a slight vanilla note. Yum! Dry: The blueberries are going strong, a golden bakery note emerges, the cream note has faded. After 6 hours: Sweet blueberries with a faint, creamy top note. The cream note is not at all strong on me--this one is all about the berries. These aren't fresh berries mind you, they're pie filling! Throw is medium, and this is lasting a good, long time with only moderate slathering. Love it!!

Sniffing from the bottle just now. I'll edit in a full review after I've had the chance to apply it to wet, clean hair. In the bottle: this strikes me as much more pie than peach. I'm having to sniff around to find the peach behind an impression of pastry and a wave of gentle spices. We'll see what it does in my hair. ETA: I did a side-by-side with Sugared Peach bath oil from Dragon*Con a few years ago. With that comparison, the fruit of Peach Pie is more prominent, with a tangy crispness to suggest fresh fruit. The bath oil is much more syrupy-sweet. Applying: Lightly sugary peach. Drying: A hint of the pastry comes out, along with some gentle spices. If you've tried Apple Pie, this has some of the same spices, but they're a backdrop, not a feature. Wearing: This has decent throw, but not strong throw compared to some of the other hair glosses I've tried. Verdict: Gently foody. I like it. I will probably keep it, but since I also have Peach, White Ginger and Cubeb I'm not sure I need a backup.

This is an amazingly real life key lime pie scent! Delicious tart lime, cramy cool sweetness, and sugar cookie crust. All I can say is that this smells EXACTLY like key lime pie tastes. For those wondering, this (to me at least) is the lime from Mr. Nancy. Juicy and sugary and sweet, with that tartness as well.

OH MY GOD! That's what I said when I sniffed this. I can't WAIT to use it tonight. I only smelled it, but the creaminess was just the best ever, with more understated, natural blueberry, totally so HAPPY I ordered this after waffling on which one to buy!

Whoa! NO one has reviewed this??? This is awesome in a bottle!! Ok, here I go!! In the bottle: First sniff... yummy, creamy, sugary key lime!! To die for! In damp hair: Ok... I so don't know HOW they do it, but as soon as I put it in, I get the perfect key lime pie. The lime is so creamy, but still has that lime zing. I get the crust and all as well. If you are like me and fruit notes just don't seem to work, like lime..... I don't do them well because it can be too fizzy and/or it fades FAST on me, but THIS.... is heaven in a bottle. I think it is perfect scent for any season as well. Fresh enough for warm weather and that creamy note for cooler weather. I wish these pies were permanent... they have all been winners!!

One squirt is all you need! The blueberry is strong, sweet and in your face. It smells like you just warmed up a can of blueberry pie filling!!! It's definitely a heavier scent, something you'd want to wear in cold weather instead of warm because the scent itself is so warm. There's very little cream to the hair gloss, but you can make out the crust once the blueberry starts to settle. I have chin length hair and used this after the shower as a detangler. It lasted all day and I was given compliments by the girls at Lush and my trader Joe's check out guy!

Well I suppose I'm the first to review. I'll start off by saying this stuff is the best! I was expecting foody flaky pie crust and peaches, but it's just glorious peaches. Beautiful, soft and fruity. I am not disappointed and I would stock up on this one because it's just that good. I would also like to add to my review and say that it is a much stronger peach if you use it as a moisturizer. P.S.- The label is also a bit different. The design is gorgeous but the paper doesn't seem to be the usual glossy sort, so don't leave it in the shower/bath (like I did) if you want to keep it from getting damaged.

I am so sad. I had really high hopes for my first bath oil, but I was really let down. From beginning to end, in the bath and on the skin, this smells like banana flavored Runts. No natural bananas, no cream, no crust.
-
Note: I'm reviewing this as a moisturizer and not as a product used in the bath. In the bottle, it smells more like apple cider to me than the Apple Cider single note does, but with the addition of lemon. On my skin, it's definitely apple pie filling. I have sensitive skin, but the spices in this are mild and do not burn at all. The cinnamon in this is a sweet, soft cinnamon. After it has been dry for a while, I get a bit of crust, but for the most part, the filling reigns. Of all of the apple scents I've tried this year, this one is my favorite. I think that this is the best spiced apple scent since Lambs-Wool. I'm going to need APPLE PIE ALL THE THINGS, and a back-up bottle of the bath oil will be necessary.

Key Lime Pie bath oil sounded like it might be nice on mornings when I need something a bit zippy and foody to get me going. And this is perfect. The lime isn't too bracing here, it's really just a great mix of sweet limes and something creamy, with a hint of a graham cracker crust. So fun!

Marshmallow Cookie Pie bath oil leans a bit more milk chocolatey on me than the perfume...this is a lighter chocolate, with more marshmallow fluff. I also catch a tiny bit of coffee in here, and I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or my skin chemistry, but it makes the chocolate even more substantive. Very yummy and super fun scent. I'll enjoy having this in my weekend rotation this winter.

Okay! I guess I'm first! So I had no idea that marshmallow cookie pies were even a thing. I had never heard of such a pie, so I didn't really know what to expect. But marshmallow! And cookies! And pie! Chocolate is the dominant note in this, for me. It took me a minute to identify it, because for some reason, I'm just not very good at sensing artificial chocolate notes-in perfumes, body washes, etc. In the bottle, I got a strong whiff of that chocolate note, and then it started to smell a bit like chocolate chip cookies. Which makes sense--take chocolate and add any kind of pastry note, and "chocolate chip cookie" doesn't sound like too much of a stretch. I wouldn't say that the chocolate is overbearing; if it were, I probably wouldn't like it. But it's definitely present. I don't get much marshmallow, if any, and a little bit of this gloss goes a long way. It's pretty strong, and the throw is good. I was in a swirling cloud of chocolate-y dessert for a while, and had to put my hair up because it was giving me a bit of a headache*. Overall, I really like this one. What I might need to do, though, is only apply it when my hair is damp. When I put gloss on dry hair, the scent can be super strong; since this scent is pretty strong on its own, it should turn into a nice, settled scent if I put it on damp hair. *that's no fault of the hair gloss; I can be a little sensitive to scents, so too much of any and I risk a nasty headache ETA: After sniffing the gloss again, I wanted to add this. Since I've never actually had or heard of marshmallow cookie pie, I think this is the most appropriate image of what this smells like: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2155/2420100292_d94ed6d8e0.jpg . Minus the scoop of ice cream on top.

Oh huh first. I received a small decant of this Banana Cream Pie HG and I have to say it is my favorite of the ones I've tried. Totally unexpected. The banana is definitely a ripe sweet banana but doesn't go very runt-y. The cream really shines, tempering the banana so I mostly just get those two notes, with the faintest hint of a baked good that takes this spray into the gourmand category. Don't be scared of the banana! This has a pretty close to the head silage but I also wear my glosses pretty light. This will be a bottle purchase for me.

In The Bottle: Wow. It's pure apple pie filling. Like, actual filling, not regular apples. I can practically taste the cinnamon and pie spices! Wet On Skin: More of the same! This is crazy delicious! I must restrain myself from licking my skin!!! Dry Down: Ah- *there's* the bit of crust! It's slight- really slight- but it's there. the apple pie filling is definitely the star of the show. This is just incredible. In All: Medium throw and just beyond delicious. This might be the perfect foodie scent!

This is the second Pie HG I got in my recent order (the other was Marshmallow Cookie Pie). In the bottle, this smells exactly like pecan pie. Somehow, Puddin' and the goblins managed to pin down the scent absolutely perfectly. My dad walked into the house when I had the bottle open, and caught a whiff of it. He thought I'd actually made some pie, and was really disappointed to realize that there was no edible form of pie in the house. When I spray it, I notice that there's a spiced element to the gloss that reminds me a lot of Pumpkin Spice Everything, but really. I don't even know what else to say about this one. My hair literally smells like pecan pie right now and I am so happy.

Oh goodness, I am first! I immediately smelled this one first and sprayed into my hair when I got the package. In the bottle it's nearly identical to the most crisp, delicious apple cider without a heavy spice base, soooo good. On the hair it's still predominantly apple and no spice, and I definitely get a red apple note but it's still tart, not tart enough to be a green apple though. It really does smell like pie but almost like you took the apple pie and right when it was about to be done you took pieces of the apple skin and put it on top to be baked into everything else. It is a incredible Autumn and early Winter gloss. I will cherish my bottle (:

Chocolate marshmallow - yes. Pie crust - yes. Yum - yes. Overwhelmingly sticky sweet - no. While this is delicious chocolate marshmallow pie, right down to the crust, this is FANCY pie. This is bittersweet chocolate, the kind that almost has a hint of espresso, or maybe this pie was made with Kaluha? I am definitely getting a hint of coffee. The marshmallow fades as it dries down, while the chocolate becomes richer and denser. This isn't as purely sweet and foody as the Key Lime Pie (the other bottle I received at the same time) - I think the bitter notes of the chocolate keep it from being purely foody. As it dries down, it turns more into a bittersweet flourless chocolate torte than a pie. Delicious! ETA: It's this: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/flourless-chocolate-cake-recipe With marshmallow glaze instead of chocolate ganache. I think I will have to make this, just to try.
