Seajewel Report post Posted April 25, 2023 A blanket of benzoin and velvet indigo musk dotted with sparks of white musk, crystalline jasmine, yellow bergamot, and night-blooming flowers.
elissamay Report post Posted May 16, 2023 This is certainly a more floral-leaning scent, based on the notes, than I would usually choose, but the benzoin and musk (and the concept) caught me. I'm glad they did! "Blanket of benzoin" is apt, because this dries down into a sweet, vannilic, cozy musky cloud, with blooms in the background. I don't really use sleep scents, but this would be one if I did. That's not to say the floral notes aren't here: while wet this is more floral than sweet and cozy. But if you're like me and don't reach for floral, this one may still appeal to you once you get to the drydown.
samanare Report post Posted June 10, 2023 Night blooms and jasmine on me. A very floral dominated scent. The soft night blooms come out stronger than the jasmine. And this overall, is a softer floral scent. Of the other notes listed, I really only get the indigo musk, and it more adds to the night time nature of the scent. Overall, I'd describe this as florals going to sleep for the night, soft and almost cozy in nature.
groovyrooby Report post Posted July 8, 2023 Note to self: blue & white musks are not my jam. I prefer red & black, spicy musks. If I had been able to see past the jasmine & benzoin blinders, I would have realized this is pretty much the opposite of where I usually go. Sometimes that's good! But here, it means I came to this for exactly the wrong reasons. This is very blue and floral, fresh, cool, and aromatic. It is exactly as described - emphasis on the blue, crystalline, nighttime. If those are your vibes, you are going to love this!
Janis Report post Posted April 28 Normally I am not much of a floral person. A floral hater, even. This is not something I would have ever picked myself. And yet, I like it. There's a gentle cool-toned jasmine and soft night blooms that remind me of my garden at night during the summer, all on a base of lightly tangy benzoin. Everything is soft and cool. This is a floral for the floral haters
DiZZysTARdust Report post Posted May 29 Really well blended. The nigh blooming florals are definitely the stars of the show, and they blend very well with the musks and benzoin. In the bottle and freshly applied the jasmine is the strongest for me, but not in a typical aggressive indolic jasmine way, more like the scent of jasmine just barely coming through over everything else. the musk and benzoin give them a very plush blanket wrap up in. as this dries the jasmine dials back even further. it doesn't completely disappear but does seem to settle down and blend more with the other notes. this blend does not stray too far into the floral territory, and is also warmer and less soapy than my typical experience with white/crystaline musk. it's actually pretty perfumey to my nose. good throw and long staying power. Not an exact dupe but the jasmine in this somewhat reminds me of At the Mid Hour of Night.
