Odilon Redon

Long shadows of raw myrrh, pine pitch, and incense smoke streaked against dry amber, yellow frankincense, and vanilla balsam.

As one may expect, a resiny evergreen wood scent. I would describe this as more of a resin scent, between the myrrh, frankincense and incense, than a pine/balsam scent. It has an evergreen note to it, but is far from a winter woods scent. Overall, incense smoke and resin scent, with a side of pine/balsam.

Softly smoky incenses with a waft of evergreen. This reads fairly cozy/cuddly to me, almost a champa vibe in long dry down. The resinous pine adds a nice touch to keep it from being too samey to other frankincense and myrrh blends. Wintery, churchy, and lovely~
