BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Red musk, wildflower honey, elemi, tangerine, and mint.

O lips full of lust and of laughter,

Curled snakes that are fed from my breast,

Bite hard, lest remembrance come after

And press with new lips where you pressed.

Yikes, why am I the first one to review this? 😓 My nose is illiterate, but I'm going for it, because I want everyone to know how wonderful this scent is.

Purchased through a Luper 2024 decant circle and all I have is an imp, which is now down to 1/3 full after 2 days. That's a lot of slathering, I've never come close to using up an imp before. Will be FS immediately.

On my skin: drunk, rich cherries, perfect golden amber and sweet, spicy musk all partied a little too hard and had a menage baby. No mint, tangerine, or honey, unless it's the reason the musk and cherry smell is coming through with such richness.

DELICIOUS. Absolutely gorgeous.   Pour it all over and curl under my blanket, pull it over my head so I can breathe in warm, sweet-scented air. Sorry if that sounds weird.

Ajevie decant. In the vial after a month-ish, it's orange and a bit more viscous than most, which really hits the honey and tangerine notes visually, which I rather like.

Had to look up Elemi, this will show up later in the review.

In the tube, fruity/musky. The tangerine is juicy, not citrusy. Mint isn't around.

Wet: Luscious, sweet, juicy. But this is that warm sweet of honey vs. the sharp and cloying of sugar for me. There's something cool hitting the back of my nose that could hint at mint.

Drydown: OK, so besides slathering, I like to test with some applied to a bit of wool roving and dropped into my bra. My skin tends to eat scents fast, so it's a reliable way to get it to stick around in a spot where it'll waft scent up regularly. So on my wrists the drydown is delicious musky with a bit of the juice and honey, which has me definitely thinking of the scent/taste of a kiss after someone has eaten succulent fruits. Wafting up, there's the elemi...resinous with a hint of something citrus, with the resin throwing a bit of menthol that was reading as mint (I think). It's blended so well and ends up just delicious. Tucking it into the pile that needs a full bottle.
