Jenjin Report post Posted February 17 Cypress, honey myrtle, yew, peace lily, ivy, and black rose. The desire of thy furious embraces Is more than the wisdom of years, On the blossom though blood lie in traces, Though the foliage be sodden with tears. For the lords in whose keeping the door is That opens on all who draw breath Gave the cypress to love, my Dolores, The myrtle to death.
samanare Report post Posted May 1 A very green black rose scent. The only note I can really pick out on its own is the rose, and it's noticeably a black rose note, deep, spicy, and slightly dry. I think the other notes are coming together to form this very green, chlorophyll note. I'm surprised as I'm not really getting any ivy or woodsy notes from this scent. I'm much more reminded of crushed rose stems than anything else. The spice of the black rose note keeps the scent from being especially fresh, but the green component of this scent is slightly stronger than the rose. Overall, I'm reminded of a very greenery heavy black rose bouquet.
