Jenjin Report post Posted February 18 Red mango pulp, sugared orange blossom, mimosa, pink musk, and sweet incense.
jiggahava Report post Posted March 6 This begins with the sharp acidity of mango, mingling with orange blossom. The acidity quickly fades into a soft, musky floral mango scent. Will make for a great spring and summer scent. An hour or two in, still floral mango. Sometimes i just want a simple, straightforward scent, especially if it's a favorite fruit! Lasts about 6 hours on skin, which is pretty good for a fruit forward fragrance. If you love mango, get it!
VioletChaos Report post Posted March 12 The mango comes on strong in the bottle but starts to fade upon contact with the skin. The scent changes rapidly, passing over the orange blossom completely, alas, and ending up a lightly spicy, vaguely incense-y pink musk, reminding me very much of the phlox-heavy Pink Moon. I'm in love with the Lab's mango note, but unfortunately for me, apart from in the bottle, it's nowhere to be found 😢
sea turtle Report post Posted April 25 Way tamer than expected! Despite having three potentially sweet notes, this is a rather dry mango with musky floral nuances in the background; I think the pink musk and incense keep this from turning into a teenaged body spray. I do catch fruity whiffs now and then but sniffing my arm directly gives me a muskier impression, which gives me the visual of a hapless traveler approaching the namesake of this perfume 🧐
sudenmorsian Report post Posted April 26 Oooooh this is so good! Lightly sweet, a bit floral, soft and very fruity. This is mostly lovely mango with orange blossoms, pink musk is lightly, softly spicy. If I sniff very closely and attentively I get the incense, too, but it's somewhere in the background. Beautiful, perfect for spring and summer.
theredkilt Report post Posted April 26 There's a shimmering pink citrus sensation upon opening and i'm under the impression it's grapefruit. Further on, the orange blossom, pops up and asserts itself. The orange blossom leans more towards neroli smell-wise, vaguely with a bitter-ish/vegetal end. But out of the blue, the mango steps in and evens everything out. It's a mango-orange blossom/mimosa-pink musk type of scent on my skin.
tinyvulture Report post Posted June 1 I’m dead, this is everything. Not a juicy sweet mango, more like dried. The mimosa adds a tartness and the sugared orange blossom and sweet incense result in a tropical, fruity floral that is just so gorgeous. And I could swear there is a touch of hot red pepper flakes in this too! Is that my weird skin chemistry? Is it the pink musk? I don’t care, the spiciness reminds me of eating mango with Tajin, which is so funny and fun. This is going on my big bottle wishlist for summer immediately. Little Bird Report post Posted July 1 I expected this to be juicier and creamier than it is, but it does smell like sugared, dried mango slices, breezy and orange scented white petals, and a musky, nondescript floral tone with wafts of incense smoke. Mango fades fast and leaves me with more of the nondescript, breezy, slightly sweet floral and clean, powdery musk, with a dry, hazy, smoky incense veil. I don't get the spiciness that others have mentioned, but the musk is going towards sharp and powdery on my skin. I expected something more sugary and.. pink from the pink musk (maybe I was thinking of Pink Sugar), but the drydown isn't very sweet on my skin and doesn't exactly read as pink. Floral, musky, clean, slight incense smoke.
asoursweetsixteen Report post Posted July 31 right off the bat, this is pretty sweetly smokey. I second everyone describing the mango more as dried mango slices than the red mango pulp that the description says. the florals definitely come through as well and it all comes together as a powdery, sweet incense smokey slightly fruity experience. although not the juicy mango I was expecting, it's elegant and mature and very pretty.
