BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Crackling, dry grasses, pale cedarwood, bone-yellow sandalwood,
uprooted mandrake, a tangle of patchouli, and the smoke of distant bonfires.

And what is so rare as a day in June? Then, if ever, come perfect days.

This is everything I hoped for.  It's a dry, warmed by the sun smell.  I don't smell a lot of smoke on me - it's mostly the dry grasses.

I will probably be getting a backup

This is really beautiful. I agree with the above review of it being sun-warmed. The grasses here are dry and warm. The sandalwood really brightens and smooths it out and the mandrake and patchouli give it a little depth/oomph. The dry grasses are the star here. It’s a perfect end of summer scent, especially for those of us in a warmer climate.
