gwynethr Report post Posted September 1 I'm not getting much, or any, blackberry, which is a bummer. I've been looking for something with blackberry and a hint of floral to replace my beloved and long-gone Glasgow, but this is mostly just lilac. Every so often, I'll get a faint hint of blackberry, but it's gone instantly. The lilac is very powdery, to me, but I'll probably keep this and hope maybe it settles down a bit. I also thought at first that I didn't smell much blackberry, but when I compared this to other lilac-heavy scents, I realized the blackberry just blends very well with the lilac. This is not the juicy, sweet blackberry note you get in scents like Blackberry Apple Suf. Instead it deepens the lilac, providing darker layers. A truly dark purple lilac scent, backup worthy.
