On the skin during dry down, the vanilla silk and amber take center stage, with the incense providing some oomph. This is still a very light, lovely scent, though. On me, it's definitely similar to Flickering Lights, Fluttering Curtains, but much more sheer (silk vs lace). Good wear after two hours. Minimal throw, but I only put it on lightly to test. It's sweet, light, ethereal and like it could take flight at any moment. Perfect for its namesake! I smell fresh and light vanilla, front and center. aphrodite Report post Posted January 28 It really is celestial af and pairs GREAT with Celestial Aura hair gloss. I can't wait to layer it with Good and Paladin, two of my favorite RPG scents, which will go so beautifully with it both thematically and scent-wise. Nothing remotely powdery here - I don't usually have trouble wearing amber scents anyway, but even with the amber+orris combo it didn't turn to powder. I would describe it as cool, blue, unisex*, and intoxicating. *not that any gender can't wear any scent, but just in terms of what people traditionally think of as masculine or feminine in perfumery, this doesn't skew into either. OxfordComma Report post Posted February 8 An airy vanilla amber softened by orris. A light, hazy scent. I feel like it reminds me of something? Lyonesse maybe? I don't have it to compare. This feels diaphanous for sure, with a soft glow vibe that I associate with white amber. The incense is light and I don't notice any cardamom, currently. Very on point for this celestial race! feyofthefellwood Report post Posted February 13 This is a soft, my-skin-but-better amber/vanilla scent that's gorgeous and wearable. The cardamom is more subtle than in most other blends I've smelled with it, but that hint of spice or earthiness complements the silky vanilla very well. I'll probably need a backup because it's a perfect everyday scent that's pretty but subtle. I look forward to trying some layering combos, too.
