white_jenna63 Report post Posted September 30, 2024 First again? Okayyy.... It should be noted that a lot of plum/purple scents smell 'perfume-y' to me, given my late mother's love of Poison. (Lord, that sounds wrong....) It's the case with Evil, and the same here. On first application, this was a lovely...watery ('iridescent' sounds much better) purple. I really thought I detected an aquatic note at first. The plum was very forward for the first 15 minutes or so. Then it moved back a little, and let the other notes out. Four hours later, it's still a sophisticated pale purple blend. The musk is never screeching, and the leather gives it warmth and depth without being obvious. Minimal throw from a small testing dot. I think this is going to layer beautifully with Evil.
Roogna Report post Posted January 8 very very faint low thro. It was very hard for me to smell while wet. As it dries, I do smell it better, but it's still low throw. Purple-y, sweet, maybe musky on drydown. It's hard to pick anything out.
LacedDoll Report post Posted February 11 My Tav in BG3 is a seldarine drow so I had to try this and it hasn't disappointed! I'm not familiar with some of these notes (black Opium poppy, indigo labdanum) and the only fragrance I've tried with ti leaf--Monk--was incompatible with my nose and skin. Still, this is a very musky, very dark yet sweet plum. It morphed on my skin the first time I tried it and I was able to pick out the leather note as well. It's very sexy and it doesn't need to be layered with other fragrances to smell complete, although I'll make a combo for my Tav and report back in the appropriate post I'm seeing a full bottle of Drow in my future.
