Carmilla became more devoted to me than ever, and her strange paroxysms of languid adoration more frequent. She used to gloat on me with increasing ardor the more my strength and spirits waned. theseagrows Report post Posted December 3 this opens with the orchid, violet and opium-it's sweetly floral and a little dusky from the opium. it smells very purple. there is a hint of green stems too. there is a soft background of heliotrope and sandalwood which props up the floral notes nicely. overall, this is mostly orchid and violet- a slightly sweet purple floral. the opium adds a bit of depth but is not super dark or heavy, just a little bit. this is a pretty purple floral that is kind of dewy, like a spring garden after the rain. very pretty and a bit lighter than expected.
